I love the scent, this is my favorite scent it the Korres selection. This is more of a cream than a butter, maybe, since it's not that thick, but a little does go a long way and the skin is left very well moisturized. It does leave the skin somewhat greasy for a little while but that's fine, I don't think that's something you can avoid if you need a rich moisturizer. The only thing I'm not happy about is that this (and the other Korres body butters) has formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, which I would like to avoid, especially in a product that is not rinsed off.

Love all Korres body butters but this one in particular as it smells great - makes me think of Mediterranean holidays, sinks in quickly on dry skin areas and delivers very soft, moisturised skin that lasts all day. Although it's a butter, it isn't very greasy. I have been buying this off and on as I do like experimenting with other products. But I always seem to fall back on this time and again.

I love this! The smell is amazing, not too heavy but still lingers on the skin for a while and really nice if using the fig shower gel beforehand. the packaging makes it easy to get out a decent amount, and a little goes a very long way. It is very thick but easy to apply and sinks into the skin very well. I wouldn't use it all over, just on dry areas. One of the best body moisturisers I've used!

Love this, at first i smelled this scent at TJ Maxx and i HATED, i mean HATED this scent i thought it smelled god awful and couldnt fathom why anyone in the right mind would want this on their skin!! at sephora i smelled it again and again... and eventually it grew on me, now i love it. if you use a little you smell the spicy fig that everyone associates with this but if you use a lot, say a whole fingers length of the stuff, you can immediately smell the fruityness that Korres claims this scent has. it dries into the skin with no residue and leaves skin feeling soft and silky and smooth. like no other cream. I've seriously been looking for a replacement for this but i can't seem to find a cream that feels as wonderful. they all feel tacky or sticky. Seriously this stuff makes the body shop's body butter feel like a tacky hot mess.... you only needs smidgens to hydrate you body , so a little goes a long way. It is a bit pricey at 30 bucks a tube so look for deals. will try other scents next but none seem to cope with me as well as this one, except the rose

I adore the Korres fig scent!!! To me, it smells exactly like fresh figs. I tend to associate figs with romantic dinners with SO, or trips abroad... I love them, and I love this product. Don't let the "body butter" nomenclature scare you off. While it is moisturizing and perhaps a little heavier than body lotion, it absorbs nicely and doesn't break out my sensitive skin like most body butters do.

I really enjoy the scent of this body butter (and that of the bath gel even more) but even with a very light application I felt like an oil slick for hours.

I got the small size fig body butter in a swap with a lovely swapper and Im glad that I didnt go and purchase the full size bottle. I couldnt find this scent anywhere readily available to smell and test out before buying.
I tried this on my (clean!) hands and it did not work for me. The smell honestly... it reminded me of dill pickles LOL.
However the texture is non greasy and lovely just like the other Korres body butters.
I gave some to my mom to try and it smells lovely on her, so it is only a body chemistry issue here. *sigh*
Scents are so personal and I really wanted to love this.
3 lippies for the lovely texture and good moisturizing properties however I will not be buying the large tube for myself.

I love, love, love Korres products and this one is my favorite. It is my HG moisturizer. I have dry skin so any product that works well, I'm going to adore. It sinks into the skin fast and is not too heavy. For the amount that I use, it is a little pricey, but I found it at TJMaxx and online at good prices.

I think Korres is quickly becoming my all-time favorite brand. Almost everything I've tried has been a big hit, and this body butter is no exception. It's really moisturizing. I slather this stuff on after a shower and it keeps my skin moisturized for quite some time. Not all day (but I've NEVER had a lotion last all day) but it does a better job than most. Importantly, it is moisturizing without being too greasy to the touch, which is important to me because I have bad habit of touching my skin and my face and I find that when a body lotion doesn't sink in well enough and is greasy I end up breaking out on my face because of the transfer of the greasy moisturizer onto my face. Some reviewers have complained about the scent which I didn't love in the beginning but it's really grown on me and I actually really like it now. I also appreciate that everything by Korres is natural and this product really smells like it! It's definitely not your run-of-the-mill floral scent like many lotions! So far, I've also been pretty pleased with the pump system for dispensing, because it's really sanitary although I'm curious to see how much product is wasted because of it at the end since you can't really open it up to get every last bit. All in all, however, a very nice product. Highly recommended!

I like to find this stuff at Winners now and again for about $10 a tube.
It moisturizes really well, sinks in fast, has a hint of scent (not overpowering) and I like the pump jar it's in. I think the fig scent is very unique - the best way I can describe it is very earthy with a hint of sweetness. I like the shower gell also.
Good stuff, but I'm not sure I would pay full price for it - I tend to go through the jar very, very quickly.

This has that love it/hate it Korres fig scent (again, I love it). Soaks into my skin much faster than I would have expected. However, if I was expecting something super-moisturizing, I am not sure this lotion would do it. Since I have fairly normal to oily body skin - it provides the right level of moisture. As a hand lotion, all I need to do is wait a minute and I don't get the greasies. I like it - but I'm not sure I would recommend it for someone with super-dry skin.

This is an okay moisturiser but I will not repurchase. Though the smell is rather unique and different for a body lotion, I find it too overpowering and somewhat nauseating. It's not that I do not like the smell of figs, I'm just not that keen on smelling it on a daily basis. Too musky and heavy for everyday use.
Moreover, the texture is too thick and does not absorb readily. As a previous reviewer noted, it does require some vigorous massaging into the skin, making application more time consuming.
Initially, I didn't think it was moisturising at all. Now I see that if applied properly (large quantities and lots of rubbing in) it does moisturise decently, but there are, in my opionion, many body lotions that are much more hydrating than this one.

I lurv the smell of this body butter, and it works so well to moisturize my skin in the winter. I put it on after my shower before I towel off, and this way it goes further. It's a bit spendy for me at Sephora, but I'm addicted to the smell. It's earthy, not too fruity.

I bought this at TJ Maxx along with some Quince body butter. It was 4.99. Okay, I'll be honest. I actually drove out of my way to go to this TJ Maxx in order to try and stock up on Korres products because my TJ's was already sold out. TOTALLY WORTH IT. I prefer this scent to the Quince--it feels sexy and fruity and earthy all at the same time. I did notice that the formula with the fig scent comes in a pump bottle, whereas my Quince formula came in a squeeze bottle. The Quince was 5.99. The Quince feels thicker and is harder to rub in. I love both of them. In fact, I went on my quest to buy more because I was using up so much of the Quince that I had bought earlier. Not because my skin needed it (it no longer is freakishly dry thanks to these products), but because I just really enjoy putting it on. My boyfriend commented that my skin seemed "silkier". And for 4.99? Awesome.

I found Korres at TJ Maxx of all places. Bought the "Best Of Korres" kit for $4.99. It came with the Guava Body Butter, which I instantly fell in love with the scent, the softness it gave my skin without feeling greasy- it was just pure bliss! Now, I'm thinking this is HG material, so I go back to TJ Maxx to look for the full size. They carry several types, but not the Guava. So I buy a kit of 3 of the body butters, all which are the smaller size, so I thought I'd try different scents. This was $7.99- not bad-comes with Guava,Fig and Quince. The Fig scent really isn't my favorite. It reminds me of dirt. Don't know how else to explain the scent. Still has the great softness, so I'll use it but not buy the Fig scent again.

I received this product as a Xmas gift and it is just lovely! I was unsure if I would like it when I first received it because I am very particular about smells and fig seemed dodgy to me. But when I started using it, I really loved the smell - light, subtle and pleasant! The packaging is user friendly and hygenic - fun pump! And the consistency and texture of the product is also thick and moisturising. Great for my dry skin. All in all a great product. It makes me look forward to after baths so I can slather it on :)

I love the pump on this product. The air-tight dispensing method ensures that this won't oxidize or spoil from air contact. The texture is rich and creamy, perfect for thorough moisturizing of dry skin. It soaks in well, but leaves just a slight oily trace behind on the skin, so I don't like using it on my hands. The fig fragrance from Korres is unlike the other versions of fig that I've smelled. This one is very earthy and plant-like, not fruity like some may expect. Though it's not a fragrance I pick every day, it's light and pleasant. I would buy again.

I did not care for the fragrance of this product. It is a light fragrance, that reminds me of leaves and outdoors. It does an ok job of moisturizing, but I would not repurchase because I do not like the scent.

Beautiful fig scent and quite moisturizing. Does not feel heavy, it is absorbed quickly and leaves skin supple and soft. Added bonus is that it did not list any parabens ( but don't know about the rest of the ingredients )
