Nude is such an interesting color; at first glance, it appears peachy beige, but on my skin, it shows up as a nude, pinky-beige color. I'm very fair (NW5-10, NARS Siberia for reference) and Nude is great for adding a hint of subtle color -- it perks up my complexion without looking noticeable or overdone, and it's almost impossible to tell that I'm even wearing anything. Very pretty!

It's a shame this has been discontinued. It's such a nice rose-beige. It's pretty light and doesn't really show up on me when I'm super tan but when I'm not I really like it. I've hit pan on it and will miss it when it's gone.

Me: LLL NC15-20/Highly Sensitive Dry-ish Skin. I have olive green undertones to my skin but a tendency to surface redness.
First off, I will start by saying I love JCs! I find they have a beautiful texture and they give the look of the colour coming from within. The lasting power is excellent. The packaging is luxe and gorgeous cos hey, it is chanel! I have found nearly all my HG blushes in the Chanel JC line and have tried nearly all of the colours except those really HTF or discontinued berfore my time. The only con is the price, cos again its chanel so yes they are expensive! But well worth it imho.
I managed to swap for Nude and I honestly did not expect it to work for me but thought it would have good reswapping potential so went ahead away and what do you know, its now a HG! It is the perfect beige-pink on me. I get a lovely pinkish nude that doesnt look muddy or overly bronze or peach. Very sophisticated and versatile colour. Great to wear with more bold lips or eyes. I generally pair it with either reddish- rose or just red lips or a daytime smokey eye and it works really well.

Excellent basic nude, perfect for my usual understated faux "au naturale" look, but also for the less frequent occasions when I opt for lipsticks in red or smoky eyes. I'll definitely repurchase if I can, though currently I find myself reaching for Giorgio Armani's Sheer Blush in #2.

I posted a pic on the MU board of Jennifer Garner saying - how can I get this look?!? Lots of girls pointed me towards this blush. I looked at it, CRINGED at the price, looked at it again, thought about it for a week . . . .but then figured I'd take the plunge and get my first Chanel item.
On me (NW 15, usually) it's a very nice peachy-pink. I have used Nars Orgasm in the past, and loved the color, but disliked the amount of shimmer. I'm not comparing this to orgasm, as it's more pink/mauvey IMO, but it was a color I *thought* I was looking for.
As it turns out, I almost never reach for it. I don't dislike it, but I think the scent, or something in it, irritates my super-reactive skin. But when I do, I feel quite posh.
I put that I would repurchase because now that I know it's discontinued (how did I not know that?), I thought OH NO! So I guess that's an indication of liking it enough to want to buy it.

I got this couple days ago. just because I heard it's discontinued.
OMG! I don't know why I didn't buy chanel JC nude long time ago??
it's very beautiful nudy beige with just little peach tint.( I guess depends on skin tone, I am fair skin asian) on my skin it's really shows the color. match with my skin as very naturaly.
it's not show like **here!! look! my cheek is HERE **
it can nice match with smokey eye make up .
also very beautiful with red lip or even nude lip.
it's so sad this blush is discontinued.....

*Sigh* This blush is a go-to classic for me when I wear a red-lip with black winged liner. I purchased this during the makeup board frenzy, where it was rumored that this beautiful blush would be discontinued soon and it sadly was. The price is pretty steep but it really delivers. Longlasting perfect natural nude, taupey brown blush. For reference my skin tone by MAC standards is NC 35

Perfect blush for the "Smokey Eye" look! I have tried to complete the look with quite a few other blush shades, applying them sparingly, then applying powder on top to tone it down, but with JC Nude, you can skip the other two steps. It imparts a subtle beige/pink color.. very neutral. I wear Beige 40 in Chanel, medium skintone, and this blush just deposits the right amount of color on me.
The name Nude is so appropriate for the look you can achieve with this blush! Chanel blushes are the best!

Lately I've found myself grabbing for this blush more. It doesn't show up orangey or anything weird like that. It's just a nice neutral peachy beige on my face. It doesn't overpower so it can be paired with a neutral or smokey eye. It also adds a nice warmth. I think it looks great paired with Chanel's Rouge Allure in Temptation.

This is a nice basic nude / natural color on my pale skin. I find I don't reach for it all that much but I will hold on to it, its rare to find a nudey colored blush that shows up just enough and not to much...this is just that for my skin tone. Insanely expensive though!

During the "Chanel Nude JC craze" on the make up board, you could see a thread or pic about it in every 2 minutes. This way, I had seen lots of pics, read numerous rants/raves about Nude. I never thought I would try it in person as it's hard to find outside US. But then one day I had the opportunity to swap for it and here I am..writing a review for it. A rave review actually. Some people said Nude looked like dirt on them. Luckily not so on me. I'm NW20 and Chanel Nude shows up as a warm peachy nude color on my skin. It's very natural but also elegant looking. Not orangey in any way if you're wondering. It's such a nice addition to my blush collection, I totally love it.

my favorite everyday blush has to be Laura Mercier Crushed Hazelnut. my only blush that i've yet to hit the bottom of the pan. when i read rave reviews about chanel joues contrast in nude i had to check it out. i had originally gone to the counter to get the foundation, but when i tried this one i couldn't help but fall in love with it. i love nudes. the most natural, gorgeous faked-flush ever. comparable to crushed hazelnut, but not as finely milled and ten times as gorgeous without the annoying shimmer.

I LOVE Chanel Nude! It's a lovely peachy beige pink on me. Shows up well on my NC25-30 skin. I don't have to use a ton of it or anything and it lasts all day and doesn't turn orange on my asian skin. Lovely blush! This and Narcisse are my favorites. Well all good things must come to an end I guess because the Chanel Nude has been discontinued. I bought a few backups but I have been on a search to find dupes for the Chanel Nude ever since I heard it was being discontinued.. Based on recs here, I went and got the Revlon Nudes (Naturally Nude and Sandalwood Nude) as well as La Femme Soft Beige. Here are the pics in bathroom light and then in natural light. I would say Revlon Naturally Nude is the closest to Chanel Nude but you have to use alot more of the Revlon to get it to show up as the same intensity as the Chanel Nude which shows up quite well on me without layering (I am NC 25-30). The Sandalwood Beige is a smidge darker but still awfully close to the Chanel Nude. The La Femme is way way more pigmented than either the Chanel or the Revlon ones but still in the same tone so if you use a light hand with the La Femme, it too looks really close to the Chanel Nude. The La Femme is the best deal...something like $4 from camerareadycosmetics.com. Hope this helps someone! I was going to swatch them on my arm but my arm is kind of dark right now from the sun and nudes don't show up on a tanned arm very well, let alone in a photograph! I tried swatching it on white paper but not sure it is too helpful. You can see how close the colors are though. This blush looks beautiful on my cheeks...doesn't look like much swatched on paper...

What can I say this is my favorite blush! The color is perfect for my skin tone NW25 and the quality and lasting power is superior to most blushes I have tried. The one thing I do not like the price tag attached to it but that is Chanel, right? It is too bad they are disc this color, what a shame!

After much thought and deliberation, I decide to swap for this blush. I wasn't too sure on if it would show up on my NC30 skintone, but figured I had to give it a try since it is so popular and now being D'ced. Well, I am glad that I did, as this is now one of my all time fave blushes. I won't dwell too much on the pckging, but it is your typical Chanel JC blush pckging ~ black, elgegant, and the brush virtually useless ;) The blush itself looks rather plain in the pan, but once applied on me ( using BB face blender brush), it appears to be a beigey/pink color. Very subtle, yet there, and beautiful. I love to wear this blush when I do a darker eye, and it is perfect. It lasts all day, and I do't mind the rose scent, as I actually find it pleasing. I can see this blush lasting me a long time, but I am debating on swapping or buying another one, as from last I heared it is being d'ced (hence the 4 lippies)...pooh on Chanel! Overall, I am happy with this blush and highly recommend it ;)

Ok, I was going to return it.. I didn't think I liked it, that it wasn't anything special. It seemed no better than NARS Zen which I returned because it didn't show up on my FFF/MMM NW30-35 skin.
But then I gave myself a week to wear it, and I wore it every day. It was a buildable perfect flush. But I have to build it. It also makes a great base for when I want to use one of my brighter or more pigmented blush.
Needless to say I am keeping this blush, and now on the lookout for a back up as it is discontinued. Great buildable and neutral color.

I got this during the 'Chanel Nude is Discontinued Frenzy of Spring 2008' and I'm so glad I did...it's the perfect, subtle, goes with everything, no orange-potential, slightly pink nude blush. Great for days you want subtlety / the natural look. I am considering a backup because I'm insane, but also because I need to use a lot of it (more than my other Chanel JC blushes) to get it to show up and I can see myself using this a lot. It's a very light shade, so if you're darker than me (MAC NC35) don't waste your money...this won't show up on you.

Oh how I wanted this to work for me. Unfortunately it showed too warm on my cool PPP complexion. In fact, well it shows orange.
The formula, texture, pigmentation is wonderful. Quite a superior blush. This color just didn't work for me and oh, I wanted it to so badly.

This is my favorite blush. I don't like any that say, "Hey look at my blush!" This really looks like a healthy, natural flush, which makes it easy to pair with many different looks. Nude is a neutral beige-rose-bronze tinged blush that I think would probably work for warm or cool skintones. I find myself reaching for it everyday, replacing my NARS Orgasm, which clashed with some things. This seems to go with everything. At $40, it's a little steep, but, I feel, worth every penny.

This is another gorgeous shade of blush from Chanel. I wear this when I want a very natural nude kind of look. I find that on my skin tone which is fair, I can't overdo it with this particular shade like I might with other shades. It's worth every penny.
