I was looking for Brunette Goddess that I absolutely love but I am not sure if they sell it in Canada. I found Self Absorbed in Winners for 8.99 CAD and decided to try.
Does not even stand next to Brunette Goddess, I do not like it.
Left my hair tangled and did not feel smooth and shiny as BG does.
The only plus, loved the scent - smells like peaches.
This is not the worst shampoo I have tried, I will keep using it, if I don't find TIGI Brunette Goddess shampoo.

I'm a big fan of Herbal Essences (Hello Hydration, to be exact). I've been using this shampoo for years and my hair is very healthy. Even though my hair is healthy and I know it's healthy, I still get bored with my usual shampoo and like to try new products. Boy was this buy a complete flop. I've heard many a good thing about Bed Head products and the high price kind of told me that they had to be good. You get what you pay for, right? Well not in this case. I bought this shampoo (Self Absorbed) and have been using it for about 3 days now. The first day, there was no major difference in the quality of my hair...same with the second day. However, today is the third day I'm using this shampoo and my hair has never felt drier or frizzier. My hair is so frizzy that it feels as though I am long overdue for a haircut. It's that bad. Also, my hair feels dirty and grungy..like I haven't even washed it. I'm actually looking forward to showering tonight and using my regular shampoo because my head just feels filthy and itchy. I really, really wish I hadn't spent $16 on a bottle of this junk. If I hadn't have thrown out the receipt, I'd definitely return it. To each her own, but I would not recommend using this shampoo from my own personal experience with it.

artificial smell, dries out my hair EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!!! the pump is nice but other wise, bleh.

This is seriously one of the WORST shampoos I have ever used. I had high hopes because I like most of the BedHead products. But this was seriously terrible. It dried out my hair and just made it brittle. The only upside is that it smells good, and I like the pump feature with the bottle.

Found this totally drying for my hair, to the point where I needed a trim immediately! The only good thing is the smell and the way it foams. Had high hopes but disappointed.

Growing up, both of my parents loved this. They liked to work out, and my mother had very fine hair that would often get greasy. My dad, on the other hand, had hair that was very dark and curly. When I was twelve, I tried this in their shower on my wavy, normally textured hair and fell in love with it too. We all loved this shampoo, even though our hair differed greatly in composition.

What you can expect from this shampoo is clean, refreshed hair, plenty of moisture, and lots of shine. It has a lot of nutrients, and it really shows in the quality of your hair over time. If you have thin hair that greases easily, it will clean your hair and make it feel nice again; if you have curly or drier hair, it works well in combination with moisture maniac, a TiGi conditioner.

You probably shouldn't use this shampoo if you have especially dry, damaged, or aged hair for the simple fact that there are better products out there. If you have normal hair, however, this will make your locks look lustrous, lush and wonderful.

Try it. You won't be disappointed.

I have always loved TiGi's products so when I found the huge bottles of this and the self absorbed conditioner on a sale I didn't even think twice about buying them!! I scooped them right up and went home to immediately try them out... Eehh. They're nothing to write home about... the smell is so yummy but it leaves my hair kind of stringy and too rinsed out feeling. Now I mix the shampoo and the conditioner with a better shampoo and conditioner just so i can get the smell but the product itself isn't amazing. I won't be repurchasing this.

I love their hairspray, and I bought this shampoo on a whim. I regret this. It seems to make me want to have ucky hair. No shine when I use it, doesn't make my hair feel clean at all. In fact, my scalp and back has broken out a bit from using it. This is not typically an issue for me at all. I have to use tons of conditioner to even brush my hair after using it. The only thing I like is the pump dispenser. I found it for ten bucks, and though that is not a terribly large amount of money, it is for something that is worse than a 2 dollar bottle of suave. Will not be purchasing this again. Just the hairspray thanks.

I looove the smell, but other than that this shampoo doesn't really do anything for my fine, slightly dry hair. Without conditioner it makes my hair feel coarse and hard to run my fingers through. I don't mind the watery consistency, but I have to use a lot of product to actually get CLEAN hair. I bought the huge 750 ml bottles (shampoo+conditioner) but with the amount of product I have to use each time they won't last that long ... Also I need to wash my hair every day now - which has made my scalp all dry and itchy. :/

I dont know what happened to this product!! I bought the combo shampoo/conditioner 2 years ago and it worked really good for my fine highlited hair... bought again last week, and it SUCKS... made my hair super frizzy, and felt dry... not using it again... sucks, cuz the bottles are full and threw the receipt away.. otherwise i'd go return it... will leave it for my boyfriend to use it...

This is my usual go-to shampoo, but if I stick with it for too long (beyond 6 months in one stretch) my hair slowly feels drier and drier each time I get out of the shower, and harder to run my fingers through. Time to switch things up, but I'll probably come back to this shampoo now and then. I have fine, dry, limp hair with loads of static - so far I haven't found a shampoo that helps with the fly-aways (I use Aveda Style-Prep Smoother for that).

Great shampoo, smells wonderful (like fresh oranges), and leaves your hair clean, shiny, soft and with no build up at all. Nourishing, without weighing down your hair... an excellent product, and, considering its huge size, lasts a really long time!
Would totally recommend this to a friend!

I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews this product gets, but people just need to keep in mind that different products work for different hair types. For my thin, wavy, easily damaged hair, this gave it great strength and body and added shine. Definitely a great product of you have a similar hair type.
Update: This dries out my hair when used repeatedly... wouldn't reccomend for dry hair.

Another product I thought was going to be brillant and it wasn't. I have bright red highlights and this stuff just washed them out and turned them orange. If i used a supermarket brand it wouldn't of done this. I spent so much money on the combo and it didn't do anything but strip my colour and made my hair dry and scalp itchy! Not a happy camper..

I really hate this shampoo. I have normal healthy hair. I find the shampoo doesn't clean well enough for me to wash every other day. On the other hand, it's not very moisturizing and my hair is still sort of frizzy and flyaway. The texture is thin and watery. I'm only giving it 1 lippie because it smells great, but for the price it's total crap.

I've been using this shampoo/conditioner combo for almost 3 years, and I won't use anything else. My fiance hates the smell of it, but i love it. I highlight my hair frequently, but my hair never looks damanged. I would suggest this product to anyone. It's on the pricey side, but well worth it.

Purchased the shampoo/cond. combo. this product is nothing special but it isn't a poor product either. I dont find the conditioner moisturizing enough because of the damage I do to my hair coloring it. I'll probably use the rest of it on my daughter's fresh and un-damaged hair.

The fragrance is great like all Bedhead shampoos. It does an adequate job of cleansing but it's really nothing special.
