First let me say I have never been a huge blush wearer. I have a roundish face with only vaguely defined cheekbones, so wearing blush sort of looks fake on me. Usually I just brush a little color or bronzer on the apples of my cheeks and that is it. Typically I can make a blush last for years, that is how little I use.
Lately I have been more into face color...but I think it is because I am getting older and find that I look younger with less eye makeup - therefore, have to make up for the lack of makeup on my eyes on other parts of my face!
I have a Jane Shimmering in Wisteria, but it is more of a very very shimmery highlighter, barely any color at all, and not very good for day. This one, Roses, I am soooo glad I picked up, and I am already considering a few backups just in case it is D/C'd.
It's sort of a yummy toasty pinky color on my light to medium skin, more subtle than in your face, with just a slight suggestion of shimmer. In other words, gives a more natural glow than an overly made up look. Not too warm, not too cool, so I imagine this would look good on many skin types... Perfect for just the cheeks, but on light makeup days it looks great dusted on the lids too, then just add mascara and neutral lipgloss. Again, I am getting older, and though I am not all wrinkly or ready for the Botox yet, my skin is not as smooth as it used to be and highly shimmery face products just don't look good in the daytime. They also look a little silly after a certain age. This Roses blush looks absolutely perfect!!
A soft, feminine, glowy, and natural flush...and lasts pretty well with no touch ups. Definitely a great drugstore product!!!

Oh I DO hope they don't go out of business and discontinue this! (I'd better buy a backup...)
Absolutely LOVE this blush! Beautiful shimmer and a stunning, natural pink flush to it. The price can't be beat and the product is awesome. If you don't already have it, HURRY and get some!
I've purchased two high-end blusher/highlighters recently, and this beats them both by a mile...!

Amazing on me (NC25). This gives a warm mauvey-pink flush, with a nice amount of sheen (soft shimmer). This is an excellent, cheap dupe of BB Rose Shimmerbrick!! I received this as a gift, but I'm going to pick up a backup even though I rarely get backups. I also like the packaging. Sleek, black, with a second flip-top compartment on the back side that holds a mirror and a small brush. The brush is descent, surprisingly. Similar to the one packaged with Benefit Dandelion blush. Especially now that Jane is bankrupt, pick this up if you find it. *EDITED* Rats, I think this is breaking me out! It might be the ethylhexyl palmitate, but I'm not 100% certain. Disappointing, because I really love this product.

Great product for the low price. I bought this because it was on sale and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on blush. It has a great soft simmer to it that brightens up the face. If you have light skin, then you don't need to put a lot on to see the effects. I liked the color and the shimmer that comes along.

This is a gorgeous color! It is very bright and pink but still looks pretty and natural at the same time. It has a nice shimmer to it too so it gives you a pretty glow. It's long lasting and I love it. The price is not bad especially for the product you are getting. I love the packaging, this is how all blushes should be packaged. The only downside is they are pretty loose packed, kind of like a mineralized blush so if you drop it, it can easily break. One of mine has, but it can be fixed by pressing it, or just be careful not to drop it. But it's a very good product.

Very pretty and dirt cheap. Goes on very nicely with a slight shimmer. Nice color. Gives me a nice pinky glow.

This is a light-to-medium cool-toned shimmery pink blush.Packaging is pretty standard and I like that the diameter of the blush is large enough for my blush brush to sweep across. The wear is not the greatest, but it's decent. It is heavily fragranced, and it's not very pigmented, so I won't repurchase,

This is a great product. I used it on my models for a photoshoot with a white eyeshadow along the upper apples and it showed up great in pictures, which is saying a lot. Very pink/red, shows up well and is flattering on various skin tones.

I agree with the previous reviews - very pretty! To decrease its slight shimmer, simply brush some loose powder over top.

Comes off as a fairly shimmery but not frosty or OTT light/medium pink on my NW15 cool-toned PPP skin. I think it has a bit too much shimmer to be HG material for me, but I still end up wearing this frequently.

Tihs was such a good buy. They had a buy one get one free sale at Walgreens and so I also had a $2 off coupon, so I bought two blushes for $4. I love the color of the shimmer. It looks a little dark on the website, but basically its very light and shimmery. For such a low price, the effects are awesome. I'm really glad I bought it.

a nice, subtle, cool-toned pink that's shimmery but isn't over the top! it's got great pigment so you only need a little and the texture is nice and smooth! definitely a keeper and it's my favorite blush (along with jane's blushing earth sheer which IMO is a NARS orgasm blush dupe!)

Roses is one of 4 new Shimmering Blushes released by Jane in Spring 2007. I am not sure if these are LE or permanent. I find these shimmering blushes to be on the sheer side but Roses is relatively pigmented (so is Peony). Roses comes in a checkerboard pattern and reminds me of a pinker version of Jane's Shimmering Bronzer in Tahiti. On my MAC NC 25 to 30, light skin with neutral to warm undertones, Roses is a shimmery, somewhat cool-toned pink. The shimmer is not over the top and the color does make my cheeks look rosy. This is a keeper!
I like the packaging, especially with the compartment for the mirror and blush brush. However, I don't use the brush that comes with this compact because I find it to be too stiff.
