I have this in both blue and green. The colors are pretty and this does last all day. It glides on, or I guess "smudges" on, and then dries. It is a bit messy though, since I use my fingers to apply it. It can get all over your fingers and get kind of blotchy when you're putting it on. I've actually had the tiny containers of eye smudges for 3 years and I've never had to buy new ones. I don't use it all the time. Just on rare occasions.

god i love these! wish they didnt quit selling these at hot topic though. the pots have skulls on them and they come in punk n gothy colors that are hard to find. their cheaply priced and stay on long. although they tend to stain my skin for a while afterwards.
UPDATE:
Hot Topic has brought back the black smudge pot & IT SUCKS! They totally changed the formula so that now its like putting a tinted lipgloss on your eyes. Its greasy & no pigment payoff at all! Im so disapointed in them!!! So for the original smudges i give them 5 lippies but for the new black formula i give them a BIG-FAT-ZERO!!

The pink one doesnt come off very easily. Without any makeup remover, it stays there for about 2 days, so be sure to have some on you because soap doesn't help. Could be a problem with people who have sensitive eyes.

These things really are great. I have them in every color (except the glitter ones). I can't use them by themselves, they'd crease like crazy. As an eyeshadow base, though - oh my. Talk about making your color POP. And the eyeshadow sets the cream, so it doesn't crease. The red and pink ones stain my skin, but none of the others do. Also, the red one looks pink in the pot, but when you apply it, it's definitely red.
The only colors I'd stay away from are the silver and bronze ones (way too sheer! they were pointless) and the black (does not go on smoothly at all). Other than that, these are a fantastic. Oh, and the pots they're in aren't very air-tight, so these will start to "crack" eventually, but even then they're still totally useable. For the price, you can't really lose.

I've had different experiences depending on the color. The pink was by far the best and true to the color in the pot. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE PINK! The red looked more orange/pink than red. These two colors stay on very well, go on smoothly (although the texture is more greasy to super thick cream than gel or normal creamy, depending on which one you use), and have amazing staying power.
As for the staining problem, it's really easy to get out with a little makeup remover (at least for me)
The purple is pretty good as far as staying and applying, but I'm not too crazy about the shade. It's kind of a dull shade of purple (in between lavender and plain purple) in my opinion, but others might like it.
I tried the black hoping it would do the same, but it was a total bust! It was like rubbing grease and oil onto my eyes and it just slopped off from blinking. I even tried adding black eyeshadow to the pot of eye smudge hoping it would give it better staying power. Nothing. I hope I just got a bad batch. I'd have to try it again.
The green was almost as bad as the black. I honestly think the green I got was just old. It was ok at first, but seemed like the ingredients were separating or something as it was really dry when I got it. After I stirred up the pot to mix things back together, it turned really odd and wouldn't work well anymore, so I'm ignoring that one.
I wish I had gotten the blue.

I have these in every color.. eventhe glitter ones. I absolutley love them. The colors are true to the pot and last all day. Only downside is that they stain my skin. Would totally rebuy if I ever ran out.

I bought this in Chartruese. It's kind of cream to powder. When I put it on, it stayed the same vibrant color all day and didn't fade. A little bit goes a long way with this stuff, and for the price you get a fair.

I LOVE this eye smudge! I found it at HotTopic for pretty cheap, about 4$ and got it in black, i use it as shadow and smudge, and my favorite: a true-black eye liner! i have a MAC cream liner, but after it was on all day it made my eyes itch, this morbid makeup one doesnt!! i use my finger for the shadow/smudge and a liner brush for a thinner line. I think it wears really well for such an inexpensive eye smudge! Id love to try this in purple or grey if i can find it! Id definetly buy this again, and in more colors!
