I have this product in "Candy Store" which is now sadly discontinued.
I absolutely love how smoothly this lipstick glides on, and I like the feel of it. The lasting power isn't great, but the Candy Store shade is awesome. I am still looking around for another similar one, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know !!

I have the Silky Finish Lipstick in Jing-A-Ling, and I like the color! Wish it were a better fit for my skin color, but it's nice for I think medium to cooler undertoned people. I love how just a little goes a long way, and how the shimmer isn't too much. I think it's more than I wanted in a lipstick, but somehow it's nice in this! The saleslady at Macy's was great.
I do have to say that it hardly lasts a few minutes. It moves even when you say m's and it doesn't last through a drink or meal. But it's nice! I wouldn't rebuy because of that and because it's too cool for my skintone, but it's an ok deal.

I've never been a huge fan of lipsticks or lipglosses, but I thought I would give this lippy a go considering family and friends use benefit products. It glides onto your lips really well and is definably silky to the touch. What I like about this is that it's not terribly sticky when applied and the colour that I had (Jing-a-Ling) was not in your face like other lipsticks. However, I really hoped it had strong staying power but this product was terrible staying on my lips. Give it 15-20 minutes and it starts to come off at a fast rate. You'd have to keep applying for the colour to stay.
Overall good for people who like to keep applying lipstick and the colours are nice, but not ideal for the girls who like staying power.

Ok, I was completely sold on this lipstick and the color. I am usually totally disappointed by benefit products, but I REALLY love this color. I love how easily you can apply this.....very creamy and heavenly to wear. But the reason for 3 stars? Absolutely NO staying power. This lipstick comes off in 5 minutes and I ended up going through an entire tube in one month. I don't think I have ever fully finished a lipstick before, let alone in 2 months. So for the color and creaminess, I give it a 5, but for staying power, I give it a 1. I will not repurchase because it's way too expensive to only last a few minutes.

Moisturizing, fragrance free, and silky smooth! Benefit's Silky Finish lipsticks are essentially a cross between a gloss and a lipstick. Those of you who don't like the feel of lipstick and want something a little bit more sheer then the regular lipstick formulation should give these a try! I have 3 shades, Do Tell, Skinny Dip and Born Ready. Do Tell is a pinky-mauve and compliments my NC44 skin very well, Skinny Dip a nude beige-pink and Born Ready a medium brownish shade with a hint of plum. One thing for sure is that some of the Silky Finish lipsticks have better staying power than others. Skinny Dip wears off my lips in less than a hour. Born Ready and Do Tell have a little better staying power. If you don't mind reapplying lipstick more frequently these lippies are for you. A better way to extend the wear of these is to apply a matching lipliner shade underneath.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! This is thee best lip product I have ever bought. It goes on soooo silky and moisturised, and gives a beautiful natural reddish glow to my lips (I got the colour 'Rocket Pop'). It's so hydrating, my lips are very dry and this does a wonderful job of gliding on and staying. And the packaging is lovely! Well worth £13!

Maybe it's just me but I've never had a good experience with Benefit (after buying Bad Gal blue mascara, That Girl face primer, Eye Bright pencil, and the Silky Finish lipstick). I bought this lipstick in Good-to-Go because it was the lipstick they used on Bella in Twilight. This lipstick is the shade of my lips only darker which I do like and it is very silky but it wears off super fast and leaves your lips DRY. I mean really dry. I will not be repurchasing.

I actually have a few shades from this line including Candy Store and MissBehavin. I love how these colors look and how they feel. Like half gloss (non sticky), half lipstick which is perfect since I am in my early 20s and intense color just looks silly on me. BUT...these things break me out soooo bad along my lips. The little tiny pimples that hurt so bad cause they are on your lip. It's the mineral oil in them. If you look on the packaging, it's the main ingrediant. They do FEEL moist, like they are a lip treatment....but as most of us already know, mineral oil is extremely pore-clogging, and gives the idea that it's moisturizing, but is actually super drying. Too bad cause I really love the colors and Benefit. If you don't have problems with mineral oil, go for it. They are not sticky whatsoever...they feel pretty greasy though.

I absolutely love these types of lipsticks. They are highly moisturizing, and the colors that I have are amazing.
One downside to this lipstick though is because it is so moisturizing it tends to not stay that long, which is about an hour. But I have really dry skin as well as the fact the I tend to nibble on my lips a lot, that is actually pretty good.
There is a large color selection, and what I love about these lipsticks are not all that stunning in the tube, but really come to life when put on the lips. They are slightly sheer and are not really as intimidating when put on with a light hand.
The packaging is absolutely adorable! It is probably the most sturdy built lipstick packaging that I've ever had, and I will never have to worry about the lid coming off in my purse.
Really the only downside I can think of when it comes to this lipstick is the price, it is kind of pricey for a lipstick when comparing itself to MAC or other brands, but the quality cannot be beat.

I had no luck with these. I bought 2, and both dried out my lips badly. Staying power was short, but I expected that before buying them, so I have no issues in that regard. I just did not like the color selection, color fidelity, and the dryness factor. Waste of my money.

I purchased two of these lipsticks from the BeneFit counter a while ago. The shades were Jing-a-ling which is a light pink with slight shimmer and My Treat a vibrant bright pink without shimmer, but some shine. These lipsticks feels almost like a light lip gloss on my lips. They feel pretty moisturzing and have almost as much shine as a gloss. I ended giving up Jing-a-ling away to a friend because I just didn't care for the shimmery texture and I felt it applied applied a little unevenely. I also have MAC A Rose Romance which is pretty similar in color to Jing-a-ling but works much better for me in terms of color and formula. I still have My Treat and I love the color. It's a vibrant pink but it doesn't go on too bright. It gives a pleasant pop of color without being over the top. I prefer the formula of My Treat because it does feel creamy and soft on my lips but the shimmer in Jing-a-ling produced a gritty feeling and didn't make for a very even application of color. I agree with the reviewer who said these lipsticks are better in the cream formula than the shimmer formula. I wouldn't buy again though just because I don't love it and I'm always excited to try new things. This just doesn't seem special enough to me to warrant a repurchase.

It needs to be reapplied every 30 minutes, and bleeds easily. The colours are nice, it does go on smooth and it is relatively buildable. It all fades quickly however, and if you don't mind pulling out the lipstick all the time, then I suppose this product is good.

I love, love, love silky finish lipsticks. However there is a slight "but" to it. I would only recommend the cream formula, not the pearl. All the ones with shimmer don't feel smooth enough on my lips.
The cream formula though is so nice, smooth. It feels like you have no lipstick on at all,or maybe like a light chapstick. It has a pretty shine to it too.
Every colour is so flattering, there is none which looked weird on me. It is easy to build up or just wear a sheer wash.
Sometimes I'll smudge it on my lips with a clean finger, for a stain-like effect.
I can not recommend this lipstick enough. Even for girls who normally don't like l/s,because it is sheer and lightweight.
Make sure to check them out at your benefit counter, because those are just amazing!

Initially I was shopping for a MAC lipstick but I ended up coming home with BeneFit's Silky Finish Lipstick instead and I've been loving it ever since. The application is so effortless partly due to the slanted tip. I love all the colors which isn't usually the case with other lipstick brands. These colors compliment any skintones. I really love that it feels so moisturizing and soothing to my lips. I have extremely dry lips (partly due to living in a very dry climate). This is one of the very few lipsticks that makes my lips appear and feel smoother. BeneFit products can be rather pricey but the quality is definitely high and worth it.

i have this in nice knickers, my treat, and candy store. my treat being my favorite, it's a bright pink/coral and candy store being my least favorite, it's a gold/bronze shimmery pink. nice knickers is a nice bright raspberry. these go on really silky and smooth. and i like the color payoff and the nice fruity smell. the downside is, they're kinda expensive. they were $16 each when i bought them, but i was working at macy's in cosmetics at the time and i was helping out my friend who worked at Benefit so i got them for slightly cheaper. but now they're $18 each. and i don't think that's worth it at all. they have practically no lasting power, they bleed a little, and they melt pretty easily. i took one of them out of my purse the other day, during a warm week and it looked like i took it out in time before it made a mess. mind you it was just high 70s low 80s California weather. and since the lasting power sucks, and you constantly reapply, you go through a tube pretty fast. the quality of benefit products have changed a lot over the years. i used to really love benefit. but i'm finding that now i won't ever go back to benefit again. there's much better products out there.

This product is amazing!
i have it in good to go, which is the colour used on kristen stewart in twilight. it is a natural looking colour which is easy to build up if you want a stronger colour.
it feels super silky when applying - however i recommend applying with a brush as it can wear off quite easlily if applied by tube

Definetely Silky-finish! It goes on easily, though wears off a bit faster because of that.
I got the lipstick in "Ms. Behavin".
When I first got it, I thought it would be similar to MAC's Dark Side. Not true at all! It's much sheerer, and is much easier to wear.
I love the plummy shade, it is so so flattering, even with my yellow-toned skin! I wear this as a stain, or fullout.
And it comes in such cute packaging too!
Definetely would repurchase :)

This one of the best lipsticks I've ever tried. It's ultra-pigmented and silky smooth. The tube is cute and sturdy, too, much better than some of Benefit's gaudy packaging. I like the little beauty proverb that comes with it too, it's a nice little touch. It's a little more expensive than MAC, but I think the quality is a little better, too.
I just wish that Benefit had a better selection of colours. Most of the colours they have are too dark or brown toned for me. Jing-a-Ling, the only really true pink toned (in my opinion), lipstick in the line is my favourite of all the available colours.
I really recommend this, lipstick. It's amazing how creamy and moisturizing it feels, while giving rich colour as well.

Okay, so my adventures in lipstick continue with this Benefit Silky Finish lipstick in "Swoonderful".
It's a little expensive, compared to MAC but cheaper than a lot of other brands. I know that sounds inconclusive but... it's expensive, and I bought it... so how expensive can it really be?
It is a pinky/mauve with chunky gold and rainbow sparkles. I was drawn to it because the MAC frost finish contains something in it's formula that I am entirely allergic to, and I wanted to own a lipstick that is sparkly but doesn't make my lips itch and burn.
This is a lovely colour, the sparkles aren't too "POW i'm wearing sparkles and I'm not 14".... but maybe a little bit like that, which I think is okay for a fun 27 year old in an office environment.
The packaging is heavy duty, serious metal and it feels oddly heavy. I dig that it's long and skinnier than an average Lippy without sacrificing product. I would prefer if it was a little cuter, but it's okay.
It's soft and doesn't dry out my lips which in it's self is a great thing for a lipstick, it feels a little gritty due to the glitter but like I said the glitter isn't too alarming on the lips. I do have to say that the staying power is lacking and I find that I need to reapply often.
All in all a nice MLBB with shimmer. I would buy again.
