This product is bogus! It says "vitamin enriched" but there are no vitamins listed in the ingredients list (yes, I googled them all) only a list of synthetic chemicals. It "thickens" because of those chemicals not because of any true conditioning agents like lanolin, glycerin or even mineral oil. No proteins at all. I did some research on Claudia Stevens products and found that it specializes in cover-up products; this is no different. If you want a true conditioning, lash-growing product, you'll need to go elsewhere.

So i just bought this product at the Sally Beauty store. I got so excited about it and applied it on my lashes right when i got home. However, i was looking at where the product was made...and its made in P.R.C..which i soon found out (peoples republic of china) I don't know if i can really trust this product...I knew some very very bad stuff that china has made (dumpling filled with part paper mixture, fake eggs, paper made shoes) and the fact that im putting this "stuff" around my eyes...ekk..I guess I will look at more reviews on this product and see if its safe. =/

Ok, so I LOVE this stuff... The only thing that stinks is that I don't feel like there is much product on the brush when I use it. SO... I went to Sally's and bought a small package of the disposable mascara brushes (that are way smaller). That seems to really do the trick to get more of the product on my lashes.
Today, I put some on... let it dry... then applied my mascara. My lashes look CRAZY long and full. I love that this stuff dries clear, not hard or sticky. I've also been putting this on before bed on my lashes AND eyebrows. I'll update in a few weeks with results.
It's only $4.99 at Sally's...

I got this at Sally's Beauty Supply because I couldn't find the Ardell one. The packaging is just like mascara. The directions say to put a small amount at the base of the lashes, so I just used my fingers to apply it to my lashline and eyebrows before going to bed. I've been using this for almost three months and I don't see too much of a difference. My lashes have grown a tiny bit but not enough that it's noticable to everyone else. It doesn't irritate my eyes unless I accidentally get it into my eye.
Edit: I think this helps my lashes hold a curl better! Will edit after a few more months.
Edit: I've been using this for a total of four months now. Some days I see changes and some days I don't. But I know this works because the tiny eyelashes in the corner of my eyes are long now, as well as my bottom lashes. My lashes are also stronger. Even if this doesn't make my lashes grow dramatically, it still works and is a great lash conditioner.

I picked this up at my local Sally's store for $4.99
The ingredients are White petroleum, Lanolin oil, Lanolin wax, jojoba oil, & mineral oil.
It isn't glumpy or icky. I've been using the last 2 nights and tried it during the day yesterday. My lashes feel a lot softer than the ardell at nite. So since the ardell has a plastic agent in it...I'm going to use it during the day and the claudia stevens at nite. I'm always afraid to use the ardell at nite for fear it'll leak into my eyes while sleeping...but this one I'm not worried.
The ardell has the protein in it,etc. but this is just a good basic lash conditioner. For me it's to keep my lashes softer and lush. It doesn't leave them spiky and hard like the ardell can.
I did use this once under my mascara so far and it was fine. Didn't alter my mascara in anyway. My lashes are just super soft. It even curls them a little on the ends :)
