Best nude lipstick out there, imho
Price: $4.47 CAD
Pkg: square tube, clear top
Colour: pale golden-y beige
Finish: almost sparkly shimmer
Pigmentation: medium
Texture: creamy
The crazy shimmers save me from that dead look and I'm just in love with the shimmers! I am a fan of MAC Frost l/s and pearls and just anything with shimmer! And did I mention that it's a nice nudey colour for medium skintones?

This was part of my very first NXY purchase (Buy 2 get 1 at Ulta--so I bought a lot) and I was unsure what to expect. I didn't expect this to be opaque, so I was not dissapointed buy the sheer hint of gold color. What I like most about this is that it is frosty and shimmery without being drying or "gritty". It goes on smoothly and has a fabulous finish and texture. Would look nice with a copper smokey eye. NYX has not dissapointed me with this one, and for the reasonable price I will try this lipstick formula in other colors.

I was a little disappointed at how sheer this one was, as I bought it thinking it would be opaque. The color is nice though and I find it to be quite moisturizing.

I'm pretty impressed by this product, although it isn't exactly what I thought it would be. I was expecting a more opaque lipcolor that could be used on its own, but it is actually pretty sheer. As previous reviewers have mentioned, this is a champagne gold with frost. If worn alone and applied with a light hand, it lightens the lips a bit and imparts a glimmer that doesn't feel rough like some frost lipsticks can, nor is it drying - it has a surprising amount of "slip" for a frost. I personally don't like how it looks on me on it's own (I feel it washes me out a little), but I've found that it is perfect layered on top of other colors or liner - it adds glimmer and shine just as a gloss would, but without the slipperyness of a regular lipgloss. Perfect to add a little oomph to a regular lip look. As much as I like it, I'm pretty fickle with lippies, though, and probably wouldn't buy it again since I don't feel I will wear it on its own very often.

I bought this product from my local beauty supply store. I was skeptical at first but this product actually is very sheer, smooth, moisturizing and beautiful. It doesn't smell bad or taste bad either.

Its a light champagne color with golden glitter... very nice.

Not bad. I'm surprised. Bought a couple of these on a whim while at the grocery store and I quite like this one. The colour is quite sheer but gives a pretty champagne/gold shimmer. Lightens my overly pigmented lips and gives them some dimension to boot. I wouldn't go heavy handed with this or I'd look rather freaky or cybertronic but for a fun little glimmer, this is good. Not too 'white' or 'yellow' if you know what I mean. The packaging is bulky hence the one lippy off. I don't see the point in making tubes so big you can't carry them in a pocket without hurting yourself. (I also tried the Sparkling Apricot and was less impressed. It barely shows up on me but perhaps over another l/s to give it a little kick from behind...:P)
Texture is nice. Not drying and not overly greasy. Comfortable and not at all gritty like some l/s can be. I'll keep my eye out for other colours...
