I am surprised to see such negative reviews. I bought this lipstick on a whim the other day and I LOVE it. The color is slightly peachy, but it stays on really nicely (which is a ridiculously difficult trait to find in lipsticks!!!) and it looks really nice. And I do not like peach colors on me, but this isn't all THAT peachy, only slightly. But I use a light pink lip pencil first and that balanced it out. I will definitely buy this lipstick again - although as this is the first NARS lipstick I've ever tried, I might see what other colors they have as well. It's the lipstick itself that I like even more than the color !

I feel as if Sexual Healing is getting a pretty big beating her on MUA! I went out to buy Promiscous, and ended up getting this instead (without consulting MUA which is rare for me). I actually have had it for about a month now and I really enjoy it. I think the issue here is that (1) the formula isnt the greatest, and (2) it will not suite many skin tones.
I have a yellow/golden, leaning towards olive complexion, with hazel eyes and brown hair. I tend to look good in earthy/bronze shades of makeup. Sexual Healing suites my skin very well. It goes on as a muted red with purple undertones and visibile shimmer (not chunks of glitter). It does not look frosty on me, and it certainly does not wash me out, as its noticeably red.
The formula is crap which is disappointing for this price point. It is much too dry, to the point where it is uncomfortable to apply. I moisturize first, always. Moisturizing first transfers some of my balm to the lipstick and helps lessen the dryness factor.
If my skin tone sounds like yours, then I would recommend it. I would purchase another, although there are soooo many other brands and colours to try :)

I wish I read the reviews first. This lipstick is very frosty and completely unappealing on. In the stick I thought it looked beautiful, I like that color and can wear it well. But when I got home and put it on I looked like a mess, completely tacky 80s/90s bright frost. It looked so gross, I returned right away! I was surprised b/c I usually love NARS. Steer clear.

For me, this is a much more difficult shade to wear than it appears -- I'm very fair, and it can really wash me out if I'm not wearing the right makeup (for reference, NW5-10; NARS Siberia). Sexual Healing is a metallic, peachy pink, and it is pretty heavily pigmented; it's not a sheer shade. It can also be a bit drying, and I definitely recommend lip balm before applying.
I tried it because it came in my NARS Beautiful Love Lip & Cheek palette -- I probably would not have purchased it on its own. I like it better layered over other lip color, but it can work on its own if I'm doing an evening out smokey eye -- with this kind of look, it's a great nude metallic!

Nice, frosty medium peachy pink...very sexy lipstick. I wouldn't say that it's an everyday shade (maybe for some) but it's nice once in a while. The formula isn't really moisturizing, more drying if anything...but I think all frosty lipsticks tend to be drying. This works well with my olive skin tone. Great lipstick with a dark eye. Wouldn't repurchase it though because I wouldn't wear it enough to go through it!

Interesting name, to the point that most people will try it out because of the name. This lipstick is very very frosty. The pigmentation is so well that it actually turns your lip into silverish snow-white no matter how pigmented your lip was. Definitely not everyday for me, might work for a club night...though I would pretty true red for that.

I love this shade. This color looked so lovely and I like Nars lipsticks already so I bought a tube on a whim-- so glad I did, what a pretty color!! It;s a dirty pink with microscopic but prevalent silver shimmer, but it's a shimmer, not glitter thankfully, can be a bit misleading from the color swatch on this website. Looks lovely and stays on a long time too. Also doesn't dry out lips. Love it!
Edit- After a month of occasional use I felt I should change my rating/write up. First impressions can be misleading. This did dry out my lips and the formula is far from perfect. Oh well, I still love NARS blushes and eyeshadows, but I really don't know why their lipsticks are "best of sephora"...

Not for us pale gals! This is a super frosted pink with some purple undertones. Not sure who this would really work for at all. Kind of tacky...like a bad 60's lippie. Nars Fail :(

i'm on the fence about this color. i mean it's okay. but i don't love it. it's a little too pale pink and a little frostier than i would usually go for. gonna wear it a couple more times to decide whether or not i want to keep it.

I'm on the fence about this color. I may be one of the people who is too fair to pull it off. I really like the way it looks on me outside in daylight - a peachy nude. Under fluorescent/store lights it looks gray/silver on me. However, it does feel good on, and has pretty good staying power. The color is very unique.

I really like this color. I have brown hair with medium tan- Olive skin and i think it looks great with my tone and hair color. I think this color would wash a really pale skin tone out. It is pretty expensive but good quality lip stick. This tone definately reminds me of summer time. I would recommend it.

Sexual Healing is a beautiful, shimmery shade. It's like Vincent Longo's Amalfi Dream in lipstick form. It is very high quality, like all NARS lipsticks. For a great dupe at a low cost, try Sephora #26!

This is a great lipstick for a formal night. It will look tacky for an everyday look. People say this looks white but its a frosty pink.
Update: The lipstick will look better when you apply it with a lip brush. Otherwise, it goes on very heavy with an unatural look.

I really like this color. It's a pretty frost pink shade. I am medium complexion with brown hair and eyes and I think this color is best suited for people with my coloring. I think it would make anyone who is very light skinned looked washed out. I have NO CLUE why anyone is saying it comes out white bc there is nothing white about this lipstick. If you find it too frosty just put a clear lip gloss over it and it should tone it down. I love sublte pink colors so to me this lipstick is a keeper.

I really enjoy how this color makes my blue eyes pop, but it can be too frosty if you're not careful. It's a lipstick best saved for night. Very creamy, and the color is beautiful. I only wish it'd last longer...
Overall....eh.

I just bought this... and I wish I had listened to the BA and gone for Tutti Frutti instead. (sighs) I really dislike the Sexual Healing (frost pink champagne) lipstick, but bought here in Thailand (since I've used it now), I can't return a used product. The next time, I will buy Tutti Frutti (frost strawberry color) or Christina (frost raspberry color) instead. The Sexual Healing l/s was just too pale on me. It looked deeper when applied to my hand. I get by with mixing it with a rust colored matte lipstick (Overload by MAC). Don't do it - don't buy this color!!!!!

This is a good pale pink with a touch of frost/shimmer, perfect for PPP.
Although my skin is warm-toned, I can pull this one off. I think it looks great with a dark smokey eye and a soft peach or pink blush.
For reference, I have high-lighted blond hair, blue eyes, and wear Armani LSF 2 in winter & 4 in summer.
One lippie off b/c I think NARS packaging in general is fugly, and I think this l/s should last longer than it does.

Wonderful formulation, horrible shade. right when i see this i think of NJ guidette. Its a super duper pale very frosty baby pink with alot of purple tones. I cant imagine this shade looking good on anyone. Looks like something jenna jameson would wear.

It is a frosty pale pink and it's awesome! Very similar to Smashbox Candlelight. Very sultry.
UPDATE: I have a gazillion lipsticks and this one is nearly finished. It is rare for me to finish a lipstick or even come close.

Too frosty to use alone, but applied lightly over a matte lipstick like NARS Niagra, it can add some nice shimmer.
