Select is another pinky red cool toned polish, though this one has silver shimmers in the bottle. The silver shimmers don't really show up on the nails unless in direct lighting and then you see that flash if you look up close. So definitely very fine. Usually I'm not a fan of shimmers but I wanted them in this case which is probably why I'm disappointed with Select. I think that if cool toned reds suit you then Select would work but expect more of a creme finish rather than shimmery one. And (unlike my other Essies) I started to get tip wear & chips by the 2nd day along with my OPI Start to Finish Base/Top coat. Unusual because I usually get longer wear out of Essies :(
