I love this shampoo, it makes my hair shiny and silky feeling. It doesn't make my hair dry nor greasy. I would probably buy this again but I think I'm going to try out Lush hair products.

This is probably my favorite shampoo to buy at the drugstore. It makes my hair sleek and smooth, plus it smells great! For $3, what more could you ask for?

I really haven't experienced any greasy residue nor build-up with this at all. It is really sheer and light and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and smooth. I will have to give this more time, but with the wonderful Melting Masque, this is great for smoothing the kinks out of my hair. Love Garnier!
Update**On second use, I think this did actually leave a slight residue on my hair. Strange, because this really is a super sheer formula. Hate to say it, but I probably won't buy again.

This is probably the worst shampoo I have ever tried. Inadvertently, I used it one day, and a few hours later, I looked in the mirror and asked "Why is my hair so greasy?" I then realized why, and had a flashback of when I used another Garnier product a few years ago. It had the same result: greasy, heavy, lots of product build up. It's really gross and disappointing.

I bought the Sheer version of this knowing my fine hair can't tolerate anything super heavy. I only used this once, but it made my hair look like I washed it with vegetable oil! Eew!

This stuff smells sooo Yummy, but it is not very strong so you can hardly smell it.
Overall I like it, it doesnt make my hair greasy and yucky which is Great!

i do not know why i bought this even (lol!) but i did and decided to give it a try. the smell is nice and lasts, but it gives such a greasy film and layer...and i completely washed it out! it gives an awful performance overal, in my opinion. i'm sure you all had a better experience with this, but in general garnier shampoos leave my hair greasy, but this one espeically.

I just bought this for the first time. The only gripe is that the bottle is hard to open, but other than that, it feels wonderful on my longish, fine hair that also tends to be dry. I use Long and Strong leave-in conditioner and the sleek and shine sheer serum and my hair is silky and feels healthy! Definitely, I'd reccomend this.

Was looking for a line that would leave my hair nice, straight and frizz free. I have thick, asian, naturally straight hair, but ever since getting a layered cut, I would wake up to a head full of frizz. This shampoo smells nice, feels nice, and does its job nicely. Every once in a while I'll break out the straightening iron whenever I want my hair super stick straight, but this shampoo has saved me from the trouble and damage from having to iron my hair everyday.

this is my boyfriend's favorite shampoo line - but he has curly frizzy hair. when he uses this and the matching conditioner - his hair is perfect curls and soft. on my hair however (straight fine dry) it worked the first time and then after that it was like other fructis shampoos dry and limp and greasy at the same time.

I hated ALL the garnier lines due to heavy build up, I tried to Love them all, but was so dissapointed in them...UNTIL Garnier fructis Sleek and shine SHEER, came to my RESCUE!!! I NOW LOOOOVVVEEE The sheer version of this sleek and shine, i also use the sleek and shine leave in conditioner but rinse part of it out, AWESOME Products, Makes my hair soft, less oily, And more shinier, and CLEANER IN FEEL!!!! This one I 100% RECOMMEND !!!!

I was using the reg Sleek and Shine (which my daughter loves and only uses) but for me it seemed to make my hair less frizzy but also more greasy. I am glad they came out with this and I love it.. Feels great and not greasy.

The new sleek and shine sheer line is so much better for me than the regular sleek and shine. The sleek and shine left my hair feeling really heavy and I was always saying, If they made this in a lighter formula, I would love it! And my wish came true! My hair is light, swingy, shiny, not poofy, and smells amazing! This shares my HG status with Redken Clear Moisture. I actually was looking for something to replace that since it is pretty expensive, and this is the replacement. *Note-I also used the sleek and shine anti-frizz serum, which is also awesome! ***EDIT*** I have changed my mind...This makes my hair heavy no matter what other products I use with it. I gave it a good go, though. The top of the bottle is terrible for the shower, it's kinda hard to get it open.
