This is the only foundation I've ever loved, and I've been through a lot from drugstore brands up to MAC. SO UPSET it's discontinued. Now I'm searching for its replacement!

I bought this foundation after reading about it in Lucky magazine where one of their editors claimed it had great coverage and staying power. I have pretty flawless skin except for the times I break out due to hormones but I sometimes want to use foundation for a more polished look. My skin is combo-oily. I was disappointed by this product. The colour (light 01) oxidized on my skin so continuing to use it was pointless. It does provide decent coverage though but it is very difficult to blend (it adheres to your skin almost the moment you put it on). So I found working with it difficult even w a foundation brush. My mom has mature skin so I'll probably let her finish it.

This has become my HG Foundation! I was looking long and hard for a foundation that will actually meet all my requirements: I preffer a foundation that isnt totally matte, full-coverage, matches my skin-tone well and easy to blend. This has matched every criteria and beyond.

I never bought Pout products when they were available on the market , though I have seen them on the shelves and the packaging looked cute. But at the time I was on a small budget for make-up so it was out of my reach.

After reading the reviews on here , I thought I would give it a try so I ordered it online. As Im a fair-skined girl , I chose the lightest shade ( always works well with me , in every foundation actually ).

The lightest shade in Radiant Foundation is Light 01.

When I first tried it , it seemed it went a bit orangey on me , seemed a bit too dark even if it's their lightest shade. I was a bit dissapointed , but after it set, in a few minutes it matched my complexion PERFECTLY!

It applies very easy with a foundation brush or even with fingers , and covers everything!!! And when I mean everything , i tell you : rosacea , spots , discoloration , uneven skin-tone.... everything! That's why this foundation is so loved!

I have some spots here and there , and this covers them without looking mask-like! I feel like im raving a bit too much about this , but Im so happy I found something that I actually LOVE , foundation-wise!

Buy this is you get the chance to!

After reading the reviews here and the boards I decided to give this foundation a try. From the reviews I managed to narrow down the colors to either Light 02 or Fair 04 for my NC30-ish skin. Knowing the make up stall at my local market carries the discontinued Pout line I headed straight there first to try my luck. They only had Fair 04, Medium 05 and Medium 06. Trying a little of the Fair 04 on the back of my hand it seemed a little bit too dark for my liking but I bought it anyhow, it was £5 and being summer I'm bound to tan a bit more. Was going to try the Tinted Moisturiser too, but they only had the lightest shade Organza and the darkest (I think) Hessian. So off I went home and put this baby on. I applied with my Lancome foundation brush and it went on smoothly, a large squirt covers the whole face. The finish was amazing, even better than my Kanebo Cream finish. Covers pores and blemishes well, no need for concealer, but not cakey at all, really is a Radiant look. I added a light dusting of Mineral Veil and this stayed put on my skin for a good 6 hours before I removed it to go to bed. Skin still felt nice after cleansing, which is always good. Back to my issue with the color. It's ok. It dries lighter and I look really really healthy. However I'm waiting for my Light 02 bought off ebay which I intend on mixing with Fair 04. I doubt I will be able to find this again after I run out or it expires. What a shame... Edit: Received my Light 02. It's lighter than Fair 04 and much pinker, 04 is more a beige. I did the bottom third of my face in 02, middle 50/50 mix, and top third in 04. There wasn't a great deal of difference, but I guess that's how coloring on face is distributed anyway. Had the foundation on for 10 hours yesterday and it was still perfect at the end of the day, slight bumps appeared near my chin though. Am wearing Bourjois 10 hour sleep effect today and it looks too far from perfect now that I've used the Radiant foundation. Sigh...

This is a foundation that matches every girl's dream. It provides full coverage (it covers literally everything up, I got pimples and scars, and I don't need any concealers anymore with Pout Radiant Foundation) and won't break you out. It suits every skin type. It doesn't look cakey or flaky. And the packaging is simply so cute and feminine.
The only drawback is that the shade selection is pretty small. I got Asian skin with yellow undertone and I have to use the lightest shade...!!! I sometimes mix shade No.1 and No. 2 and it also works fine. It beats all the foundations that I used (Christian Dior, Shiseido, Chanel) yet the price was the cheapest...!
It's only a pity that Pout discontinued it and is no longer available in the whole world.

Sorry for the long review - I always seem to find a lot to say about foundations!

SHADES: Well, I should have paid more attention to the reviews for this one! I managed to find it on a website and decided it was worth a try before it disappears from the face of the earth. Obviously the problem with websites is that you can't test the product. This was WAY too dark. I got it in Light 02 because the website just said 'light' and I assumed either Light 01 or Light 02 would be ok for me. For reference, I am very fair skinned, but I use fake tan, so although my natural skintone would usually match to the lightest shade in most foundations, I go up a few shades with my false tan. I use YSL Perfect Touch in 4, and that is a pretty good match. In Light 02, this is more like the YSL foundation in a 6, even though it's the second lightest one. I can wear it when I have just applied my tan, but it is still a bit too dark. I couldn't believe it when I opened it! The shade is actually quite pink, but would blend well into very tanned or olive skin I think. I know people might think I am being prejudiced in this review because I chose the wrong colour, but I just want to let fair skinned girls know that they shouldn't assume that the second-lightest shade will match. I'm hoping that Light 01 is considerably lighter, but I assume that it can't possibly be light enough for girls with extremely pale skin.

FINISH: I have tried this on my face for the purposes of this review (I didn't leave the house because it looks a bit too orange!). It is very soft and velvety, and really reminds me of YSL's Perfect Touch in that it has a kind of matte feel to it pretty soon after applying, and feels more like skin than many other foundations I've tried. This is actually one of the best foundations I know of in terms of finish. It's not glowy or dewy as the name might suggest, but very natural looking and feeling.

COVERAGE: The coverage is full but, strangely enough, it doesn't feel heavy. It blurs out imperfections (although I would still need a concealer to cover my acne scars) without looking caked on. Perfect for acne-prone skin because it gives a great all-over coverage which can then be topped up with a bit of concealer.

LASTING POWER: Lasted all day on me with a bit of powder over the top, although it did separate slightly on my oily chin area - this is the case with most foundations, so I would use a mattifier underneath for a better finish.

PACKAGING: Honestly, I am keeping this foundation mainly for the packaging. It is in a bottle that is not only gorgeous to look at (matte glass with Pout's white lacy pattern on it and a silver lid) but also really practical. It has a pump which dispenses a nice manageable drop of product, so you never end up dispensing too much and having to waste it (as you do with Clinique's Superbalanced foundation, which is in a glass bottle without a pump) and also it feels way more hygienic because it's not exposed to the air and you never have to touch the neck of the bottle. Even the box that the bottle came in is adorable - it has a little peach ribbon on the top of it.

VERDICT: I have knocked off a lippy for the very poor colour selection for fair skin, which would prevent me from buying again even if I could find the lightest shade somewhere. If you have darker skin, however, I would say that this is absolutely ideal for women wanting heavier coverage without that cakey, mask-like look. Those who can find a good match (and my advice would be to go for a lighter shade than you would go for normally) should stock up on this before it vanishes, because with the right shades this would definitely be HG material for me!

i love the cute packaging and bought this mail order after reading reviews here, i have this in shade medium NO 5. iam a MAC NW30 and find this a bit light but can work with it. but i have found this a little thick in consistency and cant blend too well because it dries too quickly also the coverage is very sheer on me so i need a further application. this foundation is very yellow. and it leaves a powdery finish which i dont find too flattering. saving grace for me is the bottle which is reusable, might use it for my estee lauder doublewear which comes in a rubbish bottle.
UPDATE i have started to wear this over smashbox photo finish primer and am getting decent results with it now, the primer has made this much easier to blend, the coverage is also much better, and the primer stops it looking chalky or cakey. only gripe is that it emphasizes dry patches. so need to make sure i moisturise really well and exfoliate any flaky or dead skin before using.

From the box: "Pout's full cover foundation is the secret to achieveing a naturally nude look. For best results apply to clean moisturized skin using Pout's foundation brush. Contains Calmosensine to help relax the skin, smooth fine lines & stimulate the release of "happy" endorphins. For skin that;s truly radiant with coverage that lasts for hours." INGREDIENTS: AQUA (STERILISED WATER), CYCLOMETHICONE(CYCLOPENTASILOXANE), ISODODECANE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PEG-10 DIMETHICONE, ISOSTEARYL NEOPENTANOATE, SILICA, NYLON-12, DIMETHICONE,DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, MICA, PHENOXYETHANOL, POLYGLYCERYL-4 ISOSTEARATE, PROPLLENE CARBONATE, CETYL DIMETHICONE COPOLYOL ( CETYL PEG/PPG-10/1 DIMETHICONE), HEXYL LAURATE, TRIETHOXYCAPRYLYSILANE, METHYLPARABEN, LAURETH-3, TETRASODIUM EDTA, HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE, BUTYLPARABEN, ETHYLPARABEN, ACETYL DIPETIDE-1 CETYL ESTER, ISOBUTYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, LECITHIN, TIN OXIDE, ALCOHOL, POTASSIUM SORBATE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, MAGNESIUM ASCORBYL PHOSPHATE, RETINYL PALMITATE, BENZOIC ACID, DEHYDROACETIC ACID [+/- CI 77891 TITANIUM DIOXIDE), CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES)

There are only 8 shades to choose from. The lightest shade (light 01) is similar to COVERGIRL's Advanced Radiance Cream Foundation in 110 Classic Ivory, which is also with some pink undertone. The second lightest shade (light 02) is yellow undertone but too dark if you are NC15~20. I always use second lightest shade but this time I choose the light 01 and it seems to be fine. The texture of this foundation is lovely, smooth, easy to blend, leave a matte finish, and does not dry fast or leave streak like some other oil-free foundation. It does remind me of the Diorskin foundation speaking of texture, but Dior one is not as matte/ long lasting as this one.

The soon-to-be DC-ed Pout Radiant Foundation (on sale at VS stores that carry Pout) is tied with my now DC-ed HG foundation Diorskin. A MAC C3, Light 002 is a tad dark on me, but less yellowy than Fair 003.What I love is the airy texture and medium coverage. The satin finish is flawless, especially when applied with MAC 187 brush. I snagged bottles for $7.50 at the VS sale, but would pay $30 (retail) for 1 oz.- this foundation is just that good. The only drawback? No sunscreen! That's why my rating is 4 lippies.

I brought this foundation when I was looking for some med-heavy cover for my bad skin. i got it together with the foundation airbrush on special offer for around £40.
I really liked this. You need a tiny amount to do your whole face. Don't need a concealer with it and with the airbrush it goes on gorgeous. The shades were really nice and natural and real. I'm veeeery fussy with fdn and i have been through many. Urban decay, clinique, prescriptives, benefit play sticks, bobbi brown, boots no7, l'oreal and a heap of mineral brands to name a few. This is better than all of them. It didn't look cakey or thick. It was truly radiant and flawless. I am shade medium 05 in this and it goes perfectly with my Asian origin skintone. I don't really use it much now days as my skin has improved since when i got it (oh but not because of the foundation incase that sounds misleading!), but it's still as fresh as the first day because it's in pump format and not had air or fingers in it. Also, i use the airbrush with other foundations and tinted moisturisers and it really is very good at giving that...er.. airbrushed (ta-dah!) finish. I used it four or five days a week for about a month and the bottle is still full right up to the top. pretty bottle looks nice on dressing table too. Would buy again if skin got crappy again

I absolutely ADORE this foundation and everything about it! So much so that i had to stock up because Pout is closing down :(

anyway it does as it says, and stays on all day on my skin with no primer!

sometimes it can look cakey even tho I dont build up coverage and use a foundation brush but if that happens I jus blend, blend, blend and it works out fine. No need for setting with powder either and it doesnt run.

I've used this product in the coldest of weather to the hottest in the African sun with no problems.

The only problem with this product is its packaging. It comes in a pump container but its screwtop (so you can use the adorbale container long after the product inside has finished and you can get every last drop of foundation out). Anyway, the screwtop meant it leaked in my make up bag, which was in my suitcase, even though it was screwed on tight. so beware those of you who have this product already and plan on taking it on holiday!

Another gripe from me that Pout is about to close down soon. Soooo disappointed. I've been using this foundation for a month now and it's probably the best thing that's happened to me in terms of foundation!!! I'm super oily, super big pores and oil surfaces up in an hour after I've put on my makeup. Well, for this foundation, the oil does appear, but much later, and my skin actually looks very radiant (as the name of this foundation suggests...) and being an NC30 Asian skin, I actually suit most of the colours of this range!! A Light 02 is actually quite similar to a Medium 05! I could also use a Fair 04 as well. I use both of them, and any skin colour changes in summer, I would probably blend them together! Sets very well with any loose powder. Will be stocking up before they close down completely!

got this after reading raves about it Lucky Magazine. provides excellent, natural looking coverage (if you don't overdo it), but as i just got off of accutane, i'm finding this a wee bit too drying, which is making it look a little cakey and accentuating dry spots and fine lines. so i'm thinking of diluting it with a little moisturizer and seeing if that helps. i'm thinking that this foundation is more suitable for oilier skin types in general tho. i'm guessing my oily skin is going to resurface at some point after being off the tane for a while so i'm going to keep this around, cuz the coverage and finish is so lovely, when done correctly. also, you really don't need powder with this. which is a crazy conception for me to try and fathom, as i used to have the oiliest skin on earth, so not using powder is very difficult for me to comprehend and put into practice. but when i forego the powder its not cakey at all, nor shiny, just lovely looking.

Hoorah for new foundations! These are sooo much better than the old ones. Better coverage, bbut still easily blendable to a sheerer form, with a bit of highlighter thrown in for light reflection. It's very moisturizing too. I am no.5 olive complexion, and the color is spot on. My new HG foundation along with LM Tinted Moisturizer, and Vincent Longo Water Canvas, and Cargo One Base. A girl has the right to choose, don't she? :)

I read the reviews on this product and it sounded perfect for me. I bought it in fair 3, even though I usually use shades called beige or medium. So far, I love it. I have oily skin with redness and mild scarring on my cheeks. This covered all the imperfections. It lasted almost all day (throughout most of my eight hour shift) and it stayed matte most of the day too. I love this because it blends easily, the color is perfect for me, it gives a glowy look to the skin without looking oily, and a little goes a long way. I only need one full pump for my whole face. It's $30 U.S. at Sephora, but it's cheaper than my Laura Mercier Silk Creme, Shiseido, and Vincent Longo , but I like this a lot more than those. I will edit this if it changes for me.

this stuff is very good and just what i've been looking for after years of searching - something that covers well, but not too matte or heavy but kind of semi-matte with a glow but no glitter or shine. i was sick of either greasy shine overload or dry heavy mask. this hits the note, covers, glowy, natural, semi matte, like freshly cleaned skin. nice. bottle is pretty and practical pump. beware of the colours thou - they come up very dark. i thought i'd go for the second lightest one as i usally do, i'm a nc20/25 and pout light 02 is not light! what a waste of 22 quid! i will buy the lightest and hope it works. if you're very pale i doubt the colours will fit you but i think olive/asian girls will find the pout range a real winner. i also got the cream blush which is also really nice, the best i've used. looks great over the foundation with no powder. very fresh.

out of all the foundations i've tried. this is my favorite. i have very sensitve skin and i haven't react to the product at all. its medium to full coverage. its easy to apply and blends in very well. it creates a skily porcelain texture on my skin. conceals all facial discolouration and broken capilaries well.. best of all, the coverage is long lasting. i would never consider trying another foundation.

I bought this foundation in Light 02 yesterday at Sephora in NYC. I have tried pretty much every foundation. Chanel, lancome, laura mercier, bobbi brown, stila, vincent longo, clinique, bare minerals, dior, armani, urban decay, all drugstore brands, and... 848024189023 others. Stila has been my favorite so far, but it's in a glass jar. I wanted something easier to just pump or squirt out. Granted I just bought it, but in the store I loved this. I have oily skin and sometimes I break out. I happened to be breaking out yesterday with a lot of redness. At Bloomingdales earlier the lady put Armani on me and it didn't cover much. This covered everything without feeling heavy or greasy or caked. It was easy to apply and blended nicely. I suppose you could use a brush but I just used my fingers. The finish is silky, not too matte or dewy. A few hours later my skin still looked good, even, and I didn't go through 2 oil blotting sheets like I normally would. It's oil-free. My skin is pretty fair, but Light 01 was a little too light. The packaging is convenient and pretty. I think it was only 30 bucks, which I consider very reasonable. I wouldn't purchase if you're only looking for sheer coverage. It's medium, I suppose buildable to full if you wanted. So yeah. 0 problems. I'll edit if that changes.
