This smells soooo yummy! I got it on sale for like $2.
It is not a product I use daily or very often, as I've had it for 2 years now...I think it is overpowering and literally smells like frosting so I wouldn't wear it daily, but I wear it sometimes when I want to smell delicious and it sure does the trick. I must say, after a while it doesn't smell as overpowering and fades to a more light vanilla/ sweet smell. Definitely good for "special nights". If your man has a sweet tooth, he will surely love it lol *wink*
A couple times I have pulled it out in class to lotion my hands and everyone starts sniffing saying "Who's wearing that?" "What smells so good?" "That is soo delicious!"
So yea...it is a head turner. But not for everyday use.

This scent and the Temptations line have been discontinued,so the only place to find this is by swapping or on EBay (which is why I put the price at a 5 for expensive)It is being sold for crazy amounts for an original $8 lotion.Love the scent though,it is much sweeter than the Birthday Temptation scent and does smell like a rich buttercream frosting.Wish BBW would just bring it back along with the other foodie scents.

It's a shame Bath & Body Works discontinued their Temptations line. I actually really love this scent and prefer it over their other lotions that I find to be a bit nauseating. I originally only bought 1 bottle, unsure if I would like it, but eventually fell in love with it! I'm a sucker for lotions/perfumes that smell sweet and cupcakey. I was lucky enough to find a couple of bottles of this on eBay so I still use it occasionally and everytime I wear it I get compliments.

I got this at the semi annual sale and could not be happier with it. It smells exactly like vanilla/buttercream frosting. When i applied the lotion it literally felt like i was frosting myself. I also got the matching 3 in 1 too. To bad they are discontinueing this scent, they have discontinued every other scent in the Temptation line so i wonder if they are stopping the line or just going to introduce new scents, probably the first option though. Its a shame cause some of the scents were soooo nice, thia just being one example.

My friend and I went nuts over this at the Semi-Annual Sale. Unfortunately, it's only seasonal and they're no longer selling it. I don't smell anything plasticky and I'm usually pretty picky about that stuff. (I only like a handful of B&BW scents.) It's a wonderful mix of vanilla, sugar, butter, and perhaps a smidge of caramel. I only bought the 3-in-1 as I don't like B&BW lotions. It doesn't work well as a bubble bath but the scent in the shower is enough to calm me after a rough day.

Love this scent...have it in the 3 in 1 and the lotion and they are both great. It is very sweet so if you are not into very sweet scents, you won't like it. I have gotten complimented on this scent, even though they said I smelled like a cookie!

I LOVE this scent, but I tend to love all of the "novelty" type sweet scents from BBW's Temptations line. I have the lotion and the 3 in 1 and would definately buy again (and hope I can find the lotion and spray on my next visit). It's a very sweet scent and I can see how some would be turned off by it, but I have yet to smell the "plastic-y" smell that others are talking about. I think this is one of those scents that is good to wear if you want a sweet smell, but you don't want to smell like you just rolled around in dessert.

YUCK! I bought this based on a quick sniff in the store thinking this may be similar to Jaqua's Buttercream Frosting, boy was I wrong. This scent is horrible, it has a really ODD "plastic" or fake undertone like a really cheap vanilla candle. I really wanted to like this but the smell made me violently sick with a headache. This is really a surprise since I love most every thing I get from Bath and Body Works. I think I will return this for some Warm Vanilla Sugar instead.

I guess this is one of those scents that is very fickle. I personally love it. I'm a fan of vanilla but think a lot of the creams and lotions are a bit pedestrian. This one has something different and sits very lightly on my skin - not overwhelming at all. I have a lot of people comment about it to me - especially boys :) It's something that I wear when I want a little cheering up, I have repurchased it already and it certainly doesn't give me a headache (and I'm very sensitive to scents).
Please don't judge straight out of the bottle, it has to be on your skin to mix with your chemistry.

This is a strange one! Each time I sniff the bottle it smells differently to me. One time I will smell it and get a very true buttercream frosting fragrance and the next time I get a strange almost plastic undernote to it. I am on the fence about this one still... It doesn't really smell like a true frosting on my skin during dry down. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I have a big bottle of the shower gel to use up too, which when you don't love something feels like a lifetime in use. I probably won't purchase again because it isn't reaching out and giving me the wow factor.

Tried this in the store and just like with the twisted ice tea, I'm glad that I did. It smelled really off on me, almost plasticy. Definately coming off the wishlist.

This is a very unique smelling product. Like someone stated before, it is a fruity icing smell, not straight vanilla icing. You don't get the fruity note until you actually wear it, you can't smell it when just sniffing the bottle. It's fruity note is almost like bubblegum in a way. It's weird, but it smells good! The lotion's fragrance has good lasting power.

I bought this scent as well as the Pumpkin Pie Paradise and the Cinnamon Bun Heaven. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pumpkin Pie Paradise and Cinnamon Bun Heaven (it is EXTREMELY HARD to choose a favorite between those two!!) but the Frosting Forever, I am very surprisngly not all that happy with. Don't get me wrong - it's not BAD - but it kind of has an artificial smell to me. I wish it were sweeter and smelled more like actual frosting/cake. I still use it being that I bought the full sized bottle...but I wouldn't repurchase this particular scent again. It's just not really my cup of tea. However, if you are considering trying any of the scents offered in the Temptations line - I VERY HIGHLY recommend the Pumpkin Pie Paradise and Cinnamon Bun Heaven!!! They are both equally fabulous! I will ALWAYS have those on hand (the 3 in 1's) and when B&BW's no longer carries them - I will be going to eBay! ;) All in all - I'd say that the Frosting Forever isn't horrible...but I only gave it 3 lippies because it isn't FABULOUS. I personally won't be buying this product again.

I expected this to smell like Philosophy's Buttercream Frosting 3-in-1. Instead it smells 'off' and cloying and sort of like rancid butter. Not even close to real cake icing.

What gets me with this is that I bought three of the gift sets(Lucky In Love, Runaway Bridesmaids, and Not Again) - 2 of which came with 3-in-1s entitled "Birthday Blowout" and "Buttercream Dream".
I compared the 3 scents as follows:
They are, as expected, essentially the same.
Frosting Forever had the same fruit note(both upon usage, not on cold sniff) that Buttercream Dream has had every time I used it.
However, Frosting Forever seems *slightly* stronger of a scent. Not sure if that's the batch inconsistency or if it means it's a different scent.
Birthday Blowout is tangy, for some reason. It's very close to the other 2 scents, but has a tang to it that the others do not.
The product colours have a very slight difference, too.
I'm holding the 3 side by side right now -
Frosting forever is yellow-ish and pearly.
Bday Blowout is very close in colour to FF, but less pearly, more milky.
Buttercream Dream doesn't have any pearl to it, and is straight pale yellow.
As previously mentioned, there is a fruity note(strawberry-ish) in both Buttercream Dream and Frosting Forever. Neither could be smelled until actually used. Cold sniff will not yield that note.
BD and FF are both pretty good. I like them, but won't buy again(I already have 3, right?). Birthday Blowout's tanginess does not agree with me at all. I don't like that one.
Hope this comparison helps some of you.
