I love this color-- it veers toward red and is very flattering -- but I think I got a lemon as far as the packaging goes. The entire lipstick housing comes off with the lid. Anyway, I don't really worry much about staying power-- it's not something I notice, really-- but I will say that the cloyingly sweet scent of this lipstick makes me a little sick to my stomach. Yucky. That's the dealbreaker for me in terms of repurchasing.

I actually really like this lipstick line, although I agree with other reviewers that it doesn't last as long as some of my other lipsticks do.

Dahlia is a berry metallic, but pretty warm, with kind of a brick tint.

It goes on smooth, and doesn't feel drying or get all over the place for me. It will disappear quickly, but I usually put some pressed powder over my lips to help keep in in place. I think there may be a matching liner that would help, too.

I actually like the tube - makes it easy to tell which lipstick I'm looking for. The scent is vanilla-like, and is gone almost immediately after applying.

Will repurchase, and will be looking at other colors, too.

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about... I get SO MANY COMPLIMENTS when I wear this color! I wear it along with some Burt's Bees lip balm for a nice, shiny sheer look, and have never noticed the staying power to be any worse than any other lipstick I use. I have no problems or complaints, and like the color so much that I have two, just in case I lose one.

Despite giving it two lippies in every category, I actually like this l/s okay. It's a very pretty color, a sheer, subtly pearly berry shade that is very flattering on me, and on days when I have time to closely monitor and reapply, it's great and not like anything else I have. And the texture is nice, kind of like a slimshine or one of the other stickgloss type products (which also have poor staying power, although not this poor). In short, not very drying, which is a chronic issue with me and lipsticks. But sadly, this product is cursed with the worst staying power of anything other than MAC lipgelees that I've tried. Tonight I applied, took a half hour subway ride, and drank a seltzer through a straw--every bit of product was gone after that little adventure. It also comes in an ugly white and silvertone plastic tube, kind of what a Storm Trooper would want their lippie in but not so slick for me. I wish I could rate it higher since it's so inexpensive, but NYX and WNW being what they are, sorry Sonia, try harder :)

I forgot that Sonia Kashuk lipstick really isn't very good. I had a lip palette years ago when the line first came out. This color is very vibrant when you put it on, but don't blot. The color will all be gone. How is it possible that all the pigment is in the top layer?
