I don't know what I think of this yet. I have it in rose shimmer.
It looks gorgeous once I pump it out, but when I put it on my skin I don't notice that much difference. For the price which I believe was $50-55AUD I would expect more from it. It adds a very minimal sheen to the skin when applied before foundation. No big shimmer or glitter particles which is a plus. I will use it up, but I doubt I will repurchase. I'm thinking of getting Giorgio Armani's fluid sheer in shade 2.

My skin: acne-prone, enlarged pores, some thin lines have started to develop, but still very oily on the t-zone, and sensitive!

I have such a trouble skin, that it's hard to find products that work. With this i wanted to get some highlight effect, with a skin-friendly brand as Clarins... I hoped that this would be more secure to try than ordinary makeup-brands' creamy highlighters (cause i'm scared of breakouts..).

So to the product; It goes on extremely thin, dewy and leaves a slightly healthy shiny look on your face... I tried this around the mouth and eyes and some on my chin...It looks like a really mild enhacer/moisturizer with a little highlight,.. But i think it doesn't highlight mouch enough... Also it contains different colours of the highlighting pigments, which i think it should, but the gold ones are a lillte too many in my taste.... I have extremely pale, white and cool, cool skin...so the goldish pigments made me look a little "dirty"...and some set into my (enlarged) pores and made them look "sparkly"...

SO, i wouldn't recommend this to someone really, really pale with cool skintone, that have trouble with enlarged pores. This is too "warm" and a little "sparkly"....

UPDATE 11 december 2012;
I have tried this on and off in different ways and on different areas now. I'v found that the "gold" does not appear that "warm" as i was afraid of.... And if I only put it around my eyes/above the chhekbone (and not on enlarged pores) this gives a well rested and brightened look to the eyes.... This is far from enough covering my undereye circles (that are blue and red!) BUT this gives a nice base for the concealer...

I tried this with the Light Perfecting Touch Pen (the red highlighteing pen by Clarins) today, and even if this isn't a real concealer either, this gave a really nice soft "glow"....

I have pretty glow on my face naturally thanks to clarins one step facial cleanser but this primer gives me more boost, the result is an angelic glow! My face feels and looks so smooth, I can't keep my hands away. Haven't cause me breakouts and keeps the oil away whole day. First primer I have tried and I think I will keep on buying this :)

I got this in a swap. When I'm done I will repurchase. Unlike the beauty flash balm that I love, this isn't as dewy but I do love it. Sometimes I will just use it to highlight above the cheekbone or I will mix it with my concealer for under the eyes to add with glow. I have it in rose shimmer. I just received a sample in the bronze so I am anxious to try

I do not need to wear foundation because of clarins skin products, I hardly ever get a breakout which is huge for me. My scarring is going away so the rise shimmer provides a soft glow and does not make me feel like my skin can't breathe or is being clogged.

My HG base product. This stuff is amazing. I have gone off the idea of skin primers because they are usually drying and very pointless, but this has become a favourite product of mine. I first tried out some samples and was persuaded by the quality of them to buy the full size product.
I have it in Rose Shimmer.
1. It makes my skin look radiant and glowy.
2. It moisturizes my skin instead of drying it out, while still controlling my oily t-zone. Amazing!
3. Foundation is smoother to apply over this base.
4. I can use it on its own as it evens out my complexion and gives me a healthy glow.
5. I have used this on clients (I'm a freelancer) and it works for any skin type unlike every other skin primer I have tried out.
6. The pump is genius, and so is the squeezy tube style packaging as I will be able to squeeze out more product as it runs out.
Will definitely repurchase when this runs out!

This thing brings my face back to life!!! After going off diane 35 my break outs have revisited me for da past three four months so i had to put up with it and try my best to cover them so i dun feel so sh** about it…but then all these oil free make up on my face makes my face looks super flat and therefore all da bumps look so more obvious…i started to look for an luminator and i came across most that r super glittery and then there is this one das subtle and yellow toned (chamaign). Two drops of this with my double wear i look so so so much better today! I have da same amount of stuffs i had on my face yesterday but it looks so much more naturally and lively!!! Will update if i start to have ant problem with it…

I had a break out on my cheeks and was self conscious of people seeing it if i went foundation free, so i thought i would try a tinted moisturiser to give me the coverage i need without the heaviness of a foundation. Clarins tinted mosituriser was the first one i tried and i instantly fell in love with it! After using it for a week my pimples started disappearing (my break outs never disappear within a week). I love how i can just apply it with my fingers like a normal moisturiser and be out of the house in 10seconds. This is so light on my face and also gives amazing coverage. I was so devastated when i lost it in my own house but will be buying it again real soon!

To be upfront, I work at a Clarins counter at Sears. This is a Clarins product that I personally use.
I've used all three, but the 00 Rose Shimmer is the most natural on me. It is $35 CDN which is pretty reasonable but I find that the package is huge and it takes me forever to get through it. A smaller package would be nice!
The texture is nice, the smell is inoffensive and it leaves my skin feeling nice and soft.
When I use this all over my face it is a bit much. Too much sparkle for this gal. Instead I use this as a highlighter on my cheekbones, 'c'ing in up to my temples. I then use my regular blush to give some colour. The whole effect is pretty, healthy, and not too over the top.
Update: My Mum is in her 60's and is suffering from dull, winter skin. She was complaining one morning and I passed her this primer. She is in love. She mixes it with her day cream and it gives her a subtle glow and fixes the winter blahs. Love it!

I bought this product after reading about it in a magazine called More which is aimed at women over 40, very hip not at all what might come to mind as being for "older" women. I am a young 43! Anyway I had a product from Benefit and was having difficulty findin it or somehing similar. This product comes in 3 shades, I use the rose shimmer 001 it is light pinkish, creamy texture, packaged in a pump which I prefer for sanitary as well as product tability over time. I mix it about 1/3 with foundation and apply after moiturizer and primer. Also can use on top r
to give highlight. Package states can be used under foundation as well but I fing mixing better. There are four products in this line and I amplanning to buy the perfecting pen as it is designedtobe used over makeup on finelines on forehead beside mouth upper lip etc as it deflects light. I have found the product I have is very flattering in that it shaves years off,which is what it was recommended for in magazine. A bit expensive but I find that sometimes its worth it and thisisoneofthosetimes. Quality over quantity, Iam Canadian and a big fan of Lise Wtier as well, reviews here little dated. I donot usually purchase Clarins but this is a product that isgreat especially for people with a bit of "experience". Will be buying again!

When I first got this, I wasn't at all sure what to do with it but over time, I've really come to love it. It's very much like MAC's Strobe Cream - you can use it on its own, over moisturizer, to give a nice glow to your face. You can mix it with foundation to give a more radiant effect to the finished look of your foundation. Or you can use this as a highlighter....on brow bone, cheek bones, Cupid's bow or dabbed on your lip to give a bit of fullness and "pout". Really a very versatile product once you figure out how it works best for you. And I love the design of the tube. It's a bit more intense in its glow than MAC Strobe Cream and it's considerably pricier for a smaller tube but I do really love this product, especially if I'm looking a bit dull and ashy from lack of sleep, not feeling great, etc.

I really enjoyed this product. THough I have oily skin I love spreading this under my skin in fall/winter/spring for a beautiful lumious quality that is NOT oily at all. Its subtle and beautiful. If I want more highlight I place on top of my foundation. I like that the glow it gives is not shiny or glittery , its just perfect !

I bought this for the first time when I was 14! On holiday, and I have used it since then. When I bought it the second time, I was advised how to use this product. I have Rose Shimmer, and it says it has anti pollution protection annnnd it is allergy tested.
For one, I love the smell. Obviously that is down to personal preference but it smells clean and fresh.
I didn't get congested with this product, I don't tend to use it all over like it says you can, however I will try it under my foundation. I use it on the brow bone, cheek bone and down the centre of the nose. Subtle highlighter.
Helps keep my skin moisturised also.

I adore this product. Its one of the best liquid highlighters I've tried. I use it in a couple of different ways. Sometimes, if I'm running to the store or the gym and don't feel like putting on makeup I just mix in a couple drops with my moisturizer and it gives you a gorgeous glow and hides alot of skin imperfections because of the skin reflecting pigments. I sometimes also drop a couple spots onto the back of my hands and mix it in with my foundation, then apply. That gives a beautiful look too... and its so lightweight that it doesn't affect the texture or coverage of the foundation. You can also use a couple drops along the tops of your cheekbones, under browbones, down the line of the nose, etc. (wherever you want to highlight and add some oomph to). I use "00 Rose Shimmer' and it works excellently on fairer skin with pink undertones, however its also comes in two darker shades for more tanned and olive complexions. Beautiful product!

I love this ... I use the Champagne Shimmer, which is amazing for my yellow toned skin. It gives my skin a gorgeous glow. I generally either mix it with my foundation or use it alone when I've run out of foundation. It's the only primer/highlighter I've ever used, so can't compare it to others. However, it never breaks me out and I will definitely repurchase.

woooww it iss thee perfectt primerr am on my 2nd tube....i wear it sonetimes as a highligter and sometimes as a primer makes my skin look radiant and jus the right fresh look even when i apply tinted moisturiser or foundation on top..it also holds the foundation without needing to reapply during the day...the smell is lovely and the pump doesnt mess up...awsome primer it is expensive £26 but my 2nd tube i found it half the price on ebay!! :D

I love it I mix it with the extra comfort foundation (color #7), and the foundation spread easily and you have a glowing skin. (during winter).
Can be used alone as well. I have the color # 00(shimer)

I really love this product..it can be compared to MAC's strobe cream

It has a really good smell and can be used alone, under foundation, or mixed with foundation. Gives a light pink iridescent sheen

I got a sample of this and the Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch, both of which I love. I've been reading a lot of reviews saying this product has broken them out... I don't wear it as a full out primer, though. I tap it onto my cheekbones over top of my foundation. I've been using it pretty much everyday for th past couple weeks and it hasn't broken me out, and I'm generally quite prone to acne.
It gives a nice dewy finish to my cheeks, not very much sparkle at all. I don't like shimmery highlighting products as I have quite large pores, so this works perfectly for me.
I'll definitely be buying this when my sample runs out!

I broke out in a terrible rash (contact dermatitis) after using this product. I'm assuming it's due to the fragrance, although that's impossible to determine. I will be returning this product to the store. I hope my face gets better soon.
