This has a very strong smell. I really dislike fragranced skin care as my skin is very sensitive. It also broke me out after a day of usage but at the same time I still had dry patches.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Warm Hair: Blond, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green
Have used this for years (5%). Sometimes I try something new but keep returning. Most of the compliments I've received is when I'm using this.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Very Dry, Olive Hair: Brunette, Medium Eyes: Other
I use this product as night cream. You can find two versions:with 2.5% or 5% Biolipids. For my sensitive-dry skin is enough with the 2.5% moisturizer.
I feel my skin still hydrated in the morning. I've used it for the last year and I love it! I'd like to find a similar one with spf for the day :/
I don't recommend this for and oily skin. La Roche posay has different lines for this kind of skin.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
This is an amazing product. I don't use it as much as I used to because after twice a day usage, my skin broke out a bit but I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with really dry skin. It also works wonders with foundation. After applying this with my usual foundation it blended perfectly and made me look as if I wasn't wearing any. Did wonders for my skin.

For some reason I really like overnight moisturisers that you can still feel on your skin in the morning and that don't just sink in immediately - guess that convinces me that they work! My skin is pretty hard to please and reacts to a lot of stuff but it seems to really enjoy this cream (I have the 5% one). I know it's not supposed to be an overnight moisturiser for sensitive skin but it works for me this way.
But when I use it every night it runs out really really fast so I keep repurchasing.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Dry, Fair, Cool Hair: Red, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Green
Incredibly comforting for irritated dry skin, possibly most suitable post-procedure/facial as a soothing cream. I used it after a mild chemical peel and it has provided a lovely relaxing veil and provided a luminous sheen to my skin. I generously apply the cream at night and it has reduced roughness and flakiness. I used 5% and for the price it is essential to have for us dry skinned people.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair, Cool Hair: Black, Straight, Fine Eyes: Blue
I expected so much from this product. However it absolutely didn't work for me. It didn't moisturize at all. It just created a sticky film on my skin and smelled awful. It didn't break me out though.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Other, Tan Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
Very dry and sensitive skin, allergic to benzene and benzoic acid, Nutritic is perfect for my skin: it fells very moisturised, calmed. I've been using it for more than 5 years.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair, Neutral Hair: Blond, Medium Eyes: Green
This is the only moisturiser that will keep my horribly dry skin from flaking off, and going patchy, tight and scaly. I use the 2.5% one in the morning, about half an hour before I apply any make up so it has time to sink in, then the 5% one at night time, after using the LRP Physiological Cleansing Milk to remove my make up, for a deeper moisturisation.
Since I started doing this my skin has never felt or looked better. It is smoother, softer to the touch, more radiant and my make up sits and looks a lot better on it.
On average I pay about €15 for 40ml. This is a little bit pricey, however often Boots or my local pharmacy does great 3 for 2 or half price offers, which is great for stocking up!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Sensitive, Fair Hair: Blond, Straight, Fine Eyes: Blue
I have dry, sensitive and acne prone skin and usually I love products by La Roche Posay.
However, this one was too heavy and broke me out.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Very Dry, Fair, Cool Hair: Brunette, Medium Eyes: Green
Nutritic is such an amazing product. I use the 2.5% and not the 5% because the latter is a bit too sticky for me and it doesn't go into my skin. But the 2.5% doesn't just lay there on my skin. It deeply moisturizes my skin and I've been using this as a night cream for quite some time. This was even recommended to me by my dermatologist. The packaging is nice and simple but when there's not much product left it's a real pain to get the last bit out of it. I prefer a pump :) But still this is the best moisturizer I've ever used and it's perfect for dry and sensitive skin!
Age: 36-43 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Hazel
This cream simply stinks and I cannot stand the smell. It is a sort of flowery scent that lingers for hours and hours. Moisturising? I would say that it is more creating a sticky film. I use it at night as I have to finish it off but there are no antioxidants, no SPF, smells horrid and it is sticky. I can see why it costs less than £15.00. I will stick to EL Day Wear in the future. This Nutritic is truly awful.

very good moisturizer.i use the 2.5 version since the 5 version seems too heavy even for me.it leaves the skin calm and moisturized.even though my skin is extremely sensitive it hasn't triggered anything unexpected and i have been using it on and off for 2 years.i will buy it again.

I love, love, love this product. Good moisturizer is top priority for me (maybe after SPF). This will not disappoint. It is a bit heavy, but for my dry, somewhat sensitive skin, that's a good thing. I even use it in the summer. It plumps up the skin and leaves it hydrated all day long.
I have used both the 2.5 and 5%. I prefer the latter. It makes my skin feel hydrated to the touch. Alternatively, the 2.5 absorbs completely into the skin. So I suppose it depends on what you're looking for. As I am starting to develop fine lines, the extra moisture makes huge difference. In fact I just bought 2 bottles because I never want to be without!! Although I maintain, they need to update the packaging. A bigger bottle and something that makes it easy to get every bit of the product out without a battle.
And I think it's notable to add, while this is a heavier cream, it still goes on so evenly and smoothly. It's as if it changes the structure of the feel of the skin, rather than just sitting on the skin. A fabulous product.
I have used other (even more expensive) products that seem to create
a good moisture barrier, but do not "work well with others." :) This product words well on top of my TNS serum, and it works well under my sunscreen, and makeup. I have had bad experiences with otherwise good products that react and ball up or sometimes even burn, when used in combination with other things. I have never had that with the Nutritic.
It's also provide relief without irritation after treatments. For example, if I have a bit too strong of a peel, this is super soothing and doesn't irritate the skin at all. Not a small feat!
The only down side is the small size container. That said it is still less expensive (per oz) than many other products I've used. The other con of the packaging is it's a tube, and the way it's designed it is hard to get that last bit of product out of the bottle.
Update July 2012
Still love this product. But my level of frustration with the bottle design is frustrating. LaRosche Posay has got to KNOW it's hard (even painful to the fingers) to get the product out at the end. So today, after having squeezed all of the product out that I phyically could, I took some scissors and cut the bottle so I could access the rest. I expected to find one or two uses. To my shock, there are at least 9 uses, and I apply the product a little more heavily that I suspect most do (the size of a grape). Bottle design really requires improvement! for this, I decreased my overall rating (on a product I LOVE) from 5 to 4...

I love this moisturizer (and La Roche-Posay in general)...it feels heavy, but it absorbs completely for AM or PM use. I use the 5% version when my skin is particularly dry (usually from Retin-A usage), and it moisturizes without irritating or causing breakouts. I use it in the evenings, for the most part, but I can use it during the day -- it's not so thick that it won't absorb under makeup.
The scent doesn't bother me at all -- I think it smells pretty -- but if you aren't one to like fragrance in your moisturizer, you might want to skip this one.

Do you have dry skin? GET THIS moisturizer. It is the ONLY one which came close to relieving my skin of this winter dryness.
Not irritating at all to me. My skin does react to products on occasion so I do know what that feels like.
I can't reccommend this enough. I snagged it on clearance.
I don't find these negative but I know some people do so here goes
negatives: heavy scent, very creamy slow to absorb
pros: skin is soft after using, skin stays moisturized, it's on clearance, it WORKS
I Using the 2.5 version

Despite the fact that I love most LRP products, I really don't like this one. It does not absorb well into the skin at all, and something in it is quite irritating. I use a fair amount of glycolic acid and Retin-A, so I often need a rich moisturizer, however, I found this ineffective and irritating (it actually stung).
Age: 44-55 Skin: Dry, Warm Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
While I will use this in winter i do find the cream very heavy and cumbersome under sunscreen and makeup. Very very moisturizing and I'm confident that I can continue with my avene treatments this season and this alone might compel me to repurchase. This gives me clogged pores alone and applied without an exfoliating agent. Treats dehydrated, irritated and red and angry skin in several days but once I turned "normal" I found the cream base too emollient. I will use it layered with treatment serums but I'm not liking its texture as much as my cicalfate from avene.

La Roche Posay products are great for sensitive skin.
This one in particular, IMO stinks. There is a smell to it, which doesn't fade fast. I can smell it for hours. I hate fragranced products. And the smell kinda reminds me of soap.
The product itself is decent, it moisturizes well but at the same time, leaves me a little shiny.

I bought this in the 5% version a few times and I love it. It suits my skin perfectly and especially in the winter when my skin feels dehydrated, or as a night cream as a leave-in mask. It works great as a base for make up. Highly recommend it!
