This is the best product I have ever used on my hair. Now that it has been discontinued, it has been a challenge finding it at a reasonable price. I also use the hydrating conditioner - both products make my hair shiny, bouncy and healthy.
Ojon, bring this shampoo and conditioner back!

This shampoo is not good if you have really long hair. It doesn't lather well, and really doesn't thicken all that well either. It left my fine, straight hair unmanageable after getting out of the shower. Also, "Ojon oil" is really just palm oil with a fancy name.

I used this product for a about 2 months with ok results. It did give the illusion of thicker hair but it made my scalp dry. I went back to my Graham Webb Shampoo and will keep this as a backup.

I really like this shampoo and conditioner. I have straight, fine, thin, oily color treated hair and these products add tons of body without stripping my color or weighing it down.

I get the best results by using
1. Restorative pre-cleansing treatment (on damp hair for 5mins)
2. Hydrating Thickening shampoo (1 min)
3. Hydrating thickening conditioner (2 mins)
The first stage really makes a huge difference to the softness and shine, and the shampoo and conditioner give me the thick wavy hair I used to have before my hair became thinner.
I'd received the Pre-cleansing treatment free from my order on QVC and I would definately buy these all again! Love it!
I use the Ojon Restorative hair treatment once a week and I love the fact that it transformed my dull dry (non-coloured)hair- even though it turned out I had thyroid problems. A money saving hint is to use a cheap shampoo for the first wash to remove the greater part of oily Restorative hair treatment. Ojon made me feel good about my hair again!

Very disappointed with this one. After the reviews I read I thought it would be a good choice. No so. it actually made my hair more dry and dull. Complete opposite. The bottle is hard to disperse, poor packaging, smells okk though, thats about it. For the money, terrible. Better off buying a non name $2 bottle od shampoo. I do not recommend this one. I have returned for a refund.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner from Sephora and I fell in love enough to order the liter bottles online. After finishing them I can write a review and decided that I won't buy them again. At the beginning it did make my hair a little thicker and shiny but after using it for 2 weeks made my hair really dull and had a lot of build-up. I had to use a clarifying shampoo every week and to alternate them with something else. By the time I finished the liter bottles I got really sick of them and realized that they don't moisturize at all or thicken my hair...they just didn't weighted down my hair at the beginning but if I use them more than 2 weeks ..they do.

I love this product. My hair looks and feels thicker and healthier. The longer I've used it the better I like it. I shampoo daily, then use the hydrating volumizing conditioner, hydrating thickening spray, and hydrating volumizing foam. Definitely massage the shampoo and conditioner for the minute suggested. And I don't overdo the treatment or foam. Two pumps of the treatment and half a pump of foam for chin length hair.

I bought this as part of a set and used it with the original ojon treatment and the thickening conditioner for a few months.
I made sure to follow all the instructions on the packaging after reading some bad reviews, and would advise making sure you leave the shampoo in for a full minute before rinsing, and shamnpooing twice, especially after using the ojon treatment.
I have very straight, quite fine but flat hair, and most of the thickening products I've tried haven't worked at all.
This actually did thicken my hair, and I think it may be a little shinier with less breakages. BUT.. I don't like the change in texture, and would prefer a more volumising effect (or more hair) which is why I would not purchase it again.
I still gave it a high rating because this isn't Ojons fault - in fact it does what they say, I just had different expectations beacuse of products I've used before.

I bought this based on MA and Sephora reviews but I'll admit I was a little dissapointed in it. I have VERY fine, limp hair and so it damages, breaks, and drys out easy, so I thought this would be the perfect product. First I'll say it DEFINITELY hydrates well and leaves my hair soft, smooth, and silky (BUT dull). However, it doesn't do much of anything for volume or thickness :(. I think the oil and moisturizers in it tend to weigh my hair down but at least it's stronger and healthier. I've been using it for a few months with the conditioner and restoring treatment and i've started alternating with a volumizing/clarifying shampoo to prevent build-up b/c it's made my usually very shiny hair dull. I would reccommend it for dry or damaged hair but not it you're looking for lift. I'll keep using it a few times a week but I'm still looking for THE great volumizing shampoo!!

This stuff is FANTASTIC for my hair. Ive been using it for about 10 days now. I bought the Ojon kit that included the thickening shampoo, conditioner, spray, paste, and the original ojon treatment, and I love them all. I have long but thin hair, not damaged or color treated at all, but sometimes it can get a little dry. When I use hydrating treatments, I usually end up with greasy hair. but this thickening line works great. My hair gets clean, and truly feels thicker, without weighing it down or making it feel greasy. Im almost done with my 2oz trial size bottles, I will definitely purchase the full size shampoo and conditioner.

This shampoo is not bad, but it didn't live up to its name. My hair was neither hydrated nor thickened by this shampoo, which is a shame because those are two things my hair could really use. Since the product isn't very concentrated, and I had to use a lot for my fine, shoulder length hair, I don't think that this shampoo was worth the price Ojon charges for it. Definately would not buy again.

After using Ojon products for awhile, and when I finished it I went back to Protene Nature Fusion. With this switch I can definitely see the the different and far better results I had with Ojon products on my hair. I used both Ojon Ultra Hydrating Condition with their Thickening Shampoo consistency for great results.
I gave it 4/5 for Overall Results:
1) Because even my Hairdresser for 4 years, and my addiction to dying my hair for 4 years i went back to my natural colour, ( btw I have ASIAN Black hair, so there is a lot of lifting and damage to do make my hair BLOND! This was one of the reasons I resorted to Ojon) even commented how healthy and shiny my hair was!
She was saying "I must be doing something really well to make my hair feel this healthy". I just secretly chuckled because it was my consistent use of the OJON products!!
2) It was so healthy that even the hairdresser's assistant had troubles securing clips in my hair to blowdry/ part, because my hair was that SILKY, shiny, and soft there was no grip for the clip to stay put :)
3) I noticed a difference in texture, my hair was thicker, softer, silky, shiny, and HEALTHY after dying my hair consistently.
4) The only downfall of this product, is the SMELL, both conditioner and shampoo has a strong earthy smell to it, and secondly the product comes in a small bottle, and I find that I have to use a lot of product to get enough foam/condition for my hair.
So these products really works, since my hair has reached its natural and healthy state, using it with Protene Nature Fusion has been nothing out of the ordinary besides the SMELL.
There products are pricey! Getting both Conditioner and Shampoo left me leaving Sephora 75$ CAN short :|
But HEY! Its worthwhile, if you looking to revive your damaged hair! Or what I am currently doing, I use my ordinary shampoo/condtioner, and when I feel I need a pick me up for my hair I use the Ojon Mask and I get the same results for a short while, this is good for a special occasion or when you want to look beautiful :)
The mask has lasted me for YEARS, approx 3-4 years, and I got it in the small bottle too! So long term value, this product is good for your money!

I think the upload picture is wrong.
This is the green shampoo . . . the picture is of the regular hydrating conditioner.
My least favorite in the line. I much prefer the regular hydrating and the Tawaka cleanser for my hair, though I like the shine shampoo, as well.
This is the most drying they produce, imo. I love most of Ojon's products, but this one doesn't do all that much for me.
My mother loved this one, which I regularly bought for her, because she loved it . . . she had baby fine hair, and not a lot of it.
She wasn't all that picky.
I have baby fine hair, a lot of it, some natural wave and curl, and Andy makes me a blond goddess every couple of months.
I am obsessive compulsive about my beauty junk.
This one I only use to use up.

I bought this shampoo (along with the coordinating conditioner) from QVC, and have been using it for a little over a week now. I can see there are a lot of mixed reviews about this product, and many reviewers won’t be purchasing this again. I haven’t made up my mind just yet, but only because of the cost. If cost weren’t a factor, I would absolutely purchase this again. One thing that I should absolutely say first, is that this shampoo will not lather like traditional shampoos. It does produce a tiny bit of lather, but only when you massage the shampoo thoroughly into your hair. It took me a couple washes to get used to the ‘no lather’ aspect of the product. Second, the smell is reasonably pleasant. It’s a “natural” scent, reminded me of freshly cut grass (but not stinky, just very faint). Third, I do think it cleanses the hair very well. I don’t feel like I have to wash my hair the next day, and I don’t get that next day oily roots/scalp feeling. I think it leaves my hair shiny, sleek and very healthy looking. One last thing (not sure it’s even relevant) the consistency is jelly-like (different, but it works).

I love this shampoo. It adds volume and even allows me to go an extra day without washing. (I use the rub out on the second day) Not really sure if it thickens but it does make my hair fuller looking/feeling. It doesn't lather like other shampoos, but I have read that good, natural shampoos don't have the "bad" ingredients to make them lather good. It's just something you have to get used to.

I bought the shampoo and matching conditioner at Sephora and have found that my hair has more body, but also horrible static since using it. I am going to pick up some unrefined coconut oil and try a deep conditioning tonight, but if that doesn't solve the problem, it's going back and I'll get some Fekkai.

I have fine, naturally silky hair and not too much of it. I color it myself every six weeks or so. It is cut chin-length because that is the only way I have any body, no matter what shampoo or conditioner I use.
I started using Ojon and rotating it with other brands a few years ago. I loved it but had a big problem with what my doctor called "seborrheic dermatitis" which is basically horrible dandruff. So when the problem got bad I would switch to a medicated shampoo for a few days to a week or more when it would calm down. Not a fun problem to have.
Anyway, I went on vacation and didn't bring my normal mousse since I wasn't going to be near a hair dryer. No dandruff. I got to wondering if my mousse was causing an allergic reaction. Switched to high-end products, low-end products, same results. Then I decided to get my hair cut again from shoulder length to chin length and just stick with my Ojon since that seemed least irritating to me. Two months later, no dermatitis. What a relief! I know it is the Ojon because I went to my parents' house and used Mom's shampoo and had an immediate breakout the next day. I guess I just have super-sensitive scalp. And since Ojon works, I don't plan to experiment too much to find out! It is not an attractive problem.
I have to shampoo every day and always have because my hair gets naturally oily. I use Ojon Hydrating Thickening shampoo and then the thickening spray to style. I only use conditioner once a week or so, but may switch to twice a week to see if that weighs it down too much. My hair doesn't have as much body as it did when I used mousse, but I will take less body if it means no flakes. It looks very healthy and shiny, which is nice considering I color fairly often.
The price is higher than I like, but I either get it on ebay or use a $5 off coupon at Ulta. I don't use much of the shampoo as it doesn't lather and I have short hair, so a bottle lasts me a long time, even though I shampoo every day. This is now my ONLY shampoo!
