UPDATE: Ugh, I finally just threw this out. I have always wondered what could be so bad about a lip gloss that people would have such disdain for them with so much passion in their reviews. Well, now I get it. Everything I wrote below is true still (cheap, lovely color), so I will give it 2 lippies. But here is what went wrong when I really road tested it this summer:

1)Goopy mess no matter how careful I tried to be

2)Taste is awful! I never understood why people were tasting their lip gloss, but this comes out so goopy that some inevitably gets in my inner lip/mouth. It makes me gag.

3) The whole purpose was to have a quick, easy summer lip. I found myself dreading the time when it came to reapplying. Once on it was ok, but still not great. But ugh, I hated applying! Too much was going to goop out, get in my mouth & while gagging I would have to work to spread it out. Even if I applied with my finger, it is runny too so some would ALWAYS get in my mouth. (I have never missed a sticky lip gloss so much in my life)

4)Finally, my friend said she could see glitter on my lips. I am almost 40 yrs old. I don't do glitter on my lips. Some times these glitter products don't leave particles behind & just look shimmery...not in this case.

The best thing I ever did was just suck it up and toss this gloss. I feel very liberated. I am going back to my MAC Richer Lusher for summer or even my Maybelline Baby Lips.

ORIGINAL POST: I saw this in a recent magazine blurb where a certain celebrity wore this (wish I could remember who). But who ever it was I pulled out the piece of the page with the gloss name and color swatch. It looked like a pretty corally pink lipgloss for summer and it was relatively cheap. When I picked it up at Bath & Body Works, they had like 3 for $18 or something. It gives almost a sheer juicey mango/melon type tint to my lips. In the tube it looks colorful, but when you squeeze a touch out on your finger it is almost clear with a slight yellow pinked tinge (more of a melon tint). It is a pretty runny & goopy gloss, but smells nice. I have no idea how well this is going to road test in reality, but it is cheaper, smells nice and really makes me think of a hot summer day with TarteTipsy on my cheeks, this on my lips some wp mascara and the warm sun.
