I have this set for years- unused. The brushes for lips and blush can be replaced with retractable brushes for better results, so I don't think the othert wo brushes are worth purchasing the whole thing.

I am a huge fan of all the body shop brushs and this set is great! The shorter handles make it a bit more difficult to apply than their full size counterparts, but perfect for a night out or in your travel bag.
The reason I took off one lippie is the blusher brush. It gets bent when the case is closed and I don't like how it distributes the blusher. Applies a lot of product in a small line, so ends up looking a bit streaky unless you blend like crazy.
All in all, a good travel set and I would repurchase if I lost mine.

I always carry this set around. I must say that the one I prefer is the angled one, I use it to apply gel eyeliner and found that it is so soft, but not TOO soft. It is soft on the eye, but is stiff enough to let us control where we want the eyeliner to be. The other ones are great too, really soft and handy! I use the blush brush for powder because I don't usually like the sponge that comes with the powder thingies. Overall, great product!

This is probably the best beauty buy that I've had from The Body Shop. I was able to get the LE version with the University of London design on it for 70% off! Amazing product. Seriously, everything you need in one small and handy case. And the bristles aren't bad quality either. They're super soft and are made with synthetic fibers so they're cruelty free!

The blush brush is waaay too small, like other reviewers have said, and the bristles got bent from the too-small packaging. I don't like the lip brush for either lipstick or concealer, so that's another useless one. I LOVE the angled brush, and I was in love with the other eye brush too -- that is, until it came apart one day not long after I'd bought it. I had yet to even put it in my purse, nor had I used it more than three or four times, so it's not like it was from wear and tear. Overall, I'm unimpressed. They do hold their shape well, but these are way too flimsy and cheap to be reliable. As much as I love the eye brushes, I'm going to stick to my Annabelle brushes for everyday makeup and save these for travel... once I glue them back together, that is.

I like the fact that the mini brush set is cute. But they are just really small which makes it a little non professional.
I use them everyday even though I have many many other normal size brushes from the body shop. I used the mini blush brush for my side shade of the nose bridge, eye brush for highlight, slanted brush is my favorite because it can be multi-used. The lip brush is soft too.
The packaging is too flat which press the brush tip flatten. so i don't like the packaging that much.
Overall, this travel brush set is a little over priced comparing to the Eco-Tools eye brush set. and eco tools are of great quality too.

I bought this not for the travel benefits, but because it was more cost effective than buying each brush individually. I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of all of the brushes - they are super soft and do not shed.
Blush brush - a little small and hard for blending blush, so use colour sparingly, as it can put a lot of product on a small area.
Eye shadow brush - great for blending and perfect size
Slanted brush - I used dark powder on my lash line and this is ideal. It's also good for creating a winged effect.
Lip/Concealor brush - I used this for concealor, as I rarely wear lipstick. It's a good size and very gentle around the delicate eye area. The best I've used.

I would say I really love this brush... oh my, I don't know where to start exactly...
This might not be a high end brushes like MAC's but it is sure better that drugstore's brushes....
The blusher brush is not too big nor too small to use for blush, contouring and highlighting... It is perfect enough for me.
The concealer brush also are at the right size to take on product and smeared over blemish and undereye circle.
The slanted brush is perfect for blending eyeshadow and eyelines into the lashline and give that natural or smouldering look...
I might have alittle problem with the eyeshadow brush, too small...but i think it can be solve by buying a blending brush...
I take this set as my staple brush, never thought about buying individual brush, too expensive for me.
the brushes are soft and easy to clean using clarifying syampoo is adequate... no hair coming off after more than 6 month of using it...love the pouch with little mirror...good for travelling...
if I lose the brushes would definitely repurchase...

I absolutely LOVE this brush set. its much smaller than i thought its really only the size of your palm and it was such a life saver when i was travelling this summer. it basically has all the basic brushes you need if your going to be away. and i think if your a beginner in makeup and want a good kit to start or give as a gift then this is perfect. now that im back from travelling i still use this set.
i use the blush brush for highlighting my cheekbones, down my nose and sometimes if im lasy my brow bones too:p i wouldnt really suggest it for blush because its kind of stiff but for highlighting my cheekbones or bronzer its perfect. i wish the brush were a little more fluffy to allow for a sheerer wash of colour but i just use a light hand.
the eyeshadow brush is nice and stiff and good for packing on the colour its nice and thin so perfect for the inner corners of the eye, brownbone, eyelid, etc.
the slanted brush i use EVERYDAY to put on my wet n wild gel eyeliner. this would have to be my fave brush from the bunch. its stiff enough to not be messy when applying the liner but soft enough to create curves and wings.
the concealer/lipbrush i dont use much because i dont wear MUCH lipstick. but when i do its perfect! ive bought so many lipbrushes that end up being useless because their not stiff enough or not dense enough.
i love the case and the tiny mirror though i wish it were bigger. i think this is a great bargain and would highly recommend this brush set. i was scared when i bought it that it would be a waste of money because i buy alot of brushes and end up not looking at them anymore. but the quality of these brushes is very good and its so convenient to just throw in your purse and stuff that i find i use it all the time even at home!
Update: i just read that someone uses the lip/concealer brush for fluid liner too! i'm excited to try that!

This is a nice travel kit. I can find a purpose for all the brushes. Blush brush is a little awkward, I can't apply blush well with it, but I use it for a sheer wash of eyeshadow(I have big eyelids). The eyeshadow brush is really good. The slanted brush is nice for applying my Fluidline, although it can't be compared to the smaller, stiffer and overall easier-to-use MAC 266. Actually, this is the only brush I wish to have a longer handle. Anyways, I can still use it with satisfactory results. I used the lip brush for applying Born Lippy lip gloss by TBS in a pot. It was okay, did the job. I'm going to try applying concealer with it, I'm sure it'll be great for that.
I love TBS brushes because they are synthetic, easy to care for, they don't shed and they apply product with minimum waste. Also, not scratchy at all, fibers are very soft. I would buy again.

I love this travel set.
This is a must - have item in my purse.
The lipstick/concealer brush and the slanted brush are my favorites.
If the blush brush would be a little bigger, the travel set would have been perfect (except for its gray and boring looks that i don't mind anyway).

I've had this brush set for years and am quite impressed with the quality of the brushes. They are super soft and generally do their intended job very well.
The two eye brushes are great, especially the angled liner brush and the lip brush is handy too, unfortunately the blush brush is... I don't know... too tiny, or stragely too dense maybe... I tend to use it as an eyeshadow blender brush instead, and keep a Sephora retractable blush/powder brush in my travel kit to use instead.
My only issue is that the handles are just too short. I know it's a travel set and meant to be compact, but they are hard to grasp properly.

After reading the rave reviews on this brush set, I literally ran out and bought one, since I have been looking for a travel brush set for a while now. (My full size Shu brushes are just a tad too long for my stila case) I'm going to be the dissenter here and say that I didn't really like this brush set. The brushes, in my opinion are very average, and nothing great. As previously mentioned, the head of the cheek brush is WAY too small to be of any real use as a blush brush. I also found the eyeshadow brush and angled brush to be too stiff and a bit awkward to use for eyeshadow application, though they do seem to apply the shadows quite vibrantly due to the stiffness of the fibers. I also agree with a previous reviewer that the case does bend the fibers of the blush brush. Furthermore, I wish that the case had a magnetic snap closure instead of the velcro that holds it shut (velcro gives out eventually) There are some good things to this set though. It is really compact (4 and 3/16" x 3" when case is shut) , and the brushes, despite their stiffness, are not scratchy (the cheek brush is soft) and the brushes do get the job done, though they are probably decent enough for touchups, and good to throw in your purse for such a reason. I do not, however, with the exception of lip gloss, carry my makeup with me throughout the day (I never need to touch up my eyeshadow due to UDPP being so awesome, and my eyeliner comes in a nifty little card sized pallete already, and I just don't carry my blush around..) For these reasons, I only gave this set a 3.

I adore this mini-set of brushes. I wasnt sure if to get the travel size instead of the full version of brushes, but as Im always looking of things to put in my handbag while on the go, this seemed perfect.
Loving the eyeshadow brush the most - it's made such a huge difference in applying eyeshadow, that I dont know how I could live without it before ( I thought i knew so much about make-up and it seemed the right thing to do to apply eye-shadows with the applicator the normal eyeshadow come with or with the tip of my fingers. I didnt know how important a brush would be until I landed here and read MUA reviews. Silly me! )
I also like the cute mini blush brush. Im not a fan of the big fluffy blush brushes just yet ( maybe until I find my HG) , so the little Blush Brush is heaven for me. Im not a blush kinda gal so dont use it too often. But when I do, it's nice and soft on my skin, and it applies the blush sheer and just the right amount.
The Slanted brush - I still quite havent figured it out what is the USUAL purpose of this brush , but I use it on the crease of my lids when applying eyeshadow, or undereye or in the corner of the eyes to create a lil highlight.
I found the little lip brush very good for ... concealer. I know it sounds akward but this is what I ussually use it for.Someone in here said it's good as a fluid eyeliner brush so I'll try that out too.I must try it for the main purpose too, he he. Just that I dont use lipstick that much, I rather go for lip-glosses.
The pouch that comes with the brushes is very practical and sturdy, I think it'll last a long way until breaking and I like the mirror. But I have this set for 3 weeks so it's quite new, we'll see how it lasts in time.
One more thing - they wash very well, go back to their normal shape and dont lose hairs which is a big plus.I would gladly repurchase this wonderful set!

Good quality brushes for a very low price. It also comes in a cute case, and mini mirror. They're so soft, I can't believe its synthetic. Excellent deal - four for $14.50.

I'm always on the look out for good quality mini/travel make up brushes. I am always on the go so it's nice to have a mini make up kit with me. This mini brush set is the best! For the price the quality is the best. I've had mine for a couple of years now and the brushes are in just as good a shape as when I purchased them. They wash up easily. The brow/liner brush is my favorite. It works well for my brows and for appling powder eyeliner wet or dry. I don't know what I would do without this indespensable brush set. It's a must buy!

I'm a really reluctant Body Shop customer since the L'Oreal takeover (as L'Oreal allegedly don't share the high ethical standards against animal testing etc that the "original" Body Shop embodied), but I kinda haveta admit that their brushes truly *do* rock.
I have posher, higher-end brushes at home (MAC, Clinique) as well as some cheap 'n nasty ones, but I find this Body Shop mini kit really indispensible for carrying with me, and I don't really notice a BIG difference in quality in these 4 brushes (which cost £12 total) compared to the much more expensive brands. The kit is compact and dinky, very handy indeed, and the brushes really are quite good. What you get is as follows:-
- A mini blush brush, which I use for powder touch-ups on the go. Not ideal for applying blush as the head's quite small, but nice and soft, very cute.
- A slanted eyeshadow brush, which is great for brows and applying shadow under the eyes,
- A "standard" mini eyeshadow brush, which is not QUITE as good as my MAC brush, but about 80% as good, and handy to have on the go with you.
- A small pointy fairly stiff brush which is supposed to be for lipstick, but actually it is THE BEST BRUSH IN THE WORLD, EVER for applying fluidlines. It's really fabulous.
All come in a cute little case about the size of a small wallet, with a teensy (actually pretty useless) magnifying mirror in the lid. The brushes although short have nice stubby handles with a good grip to them, and they wash and wear extremely well. I'm on my third set in 4 years, but not through wear and tear at all, through being enough of an idiot that I've lost two brush wallets already - but at £12 a pop for the full set, it's a loss which has been *shall we say* CONSIDERABLY less devastating to me than if I were to take my high-end brushes out and about with me, and lose one of them.
The Body Shop brushes have won a couple of beauty magazine prizes for being the best in their price range, this was why I originally checked them out, and with the quality on offer for not a lotta cash, I'm not surprised they've had these wins.

I love these brushes! They are so fluffy and soft, easy to use, easy to clean, and portable. After several washings, they have maintained their shape. The whole thing is smaller than a deck of cards. This cute little pouch with a small but good quality mirror contains four brushes - face/blush, eyeshadow, angled brush, and lipstick/concealer. They apply makeup just as well as the Sephora professional brushes that I have at home and are softer. The price is better than the drugstore - $14.50.
