I ris and absolutely love this. It's a nice warm rosey nude gloss, that is nicely pigmented and has great staying power. I'm NC40 and I find that Sarong suits me very well! I'm not sure if this is discontinued or not...but I will definately repurchase this!

Sarong is caramel/nude/brownish color and it reallllly looks good in my lips/skintone (Im NW 25). You can use it as your everyday color since this is one of everday color that goes on everyday makeup.

Sarong is a muted light brown/ caramel with gold glitter in tube but morphs into a very pretty, subtle pinky brown nude with slight shimmer. It is quite pigmented (a plus in my book - it's more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss), with that cushiony gel texture Glossimers are famous for :)

If you're looking for an everyday shade, this is the glossimer to get. It goes on really well, feels great on. I ordered this offline looking for a nude, never seeing it before in person, and people suggested it. It's nothing crazy- I agree with one other reviewer who called it kinda "blah," but that works sometimes. It does look really nice on (esp. if you're on the tan side). Luckily I got this for a cheaper price. Also, It looks a lot like my nude L'oreal colour riche gloss/lipstick, which I liked just fine. It is a little thicker and more emollient than the L'oreal (I would hope so- it's Chanel), and probably is more transfer-proof. If you want something with a lot of shine and "look at me" lips, this may not be it, but I'm sure the other glossimers definitely have a different effect!! It is such a quality gloss though...stays on (prob a lot longer than the L'oreal), is non-drying, smoothing, and pretty on. I'll be buying more of these in the future in different shades. I do love how it feels on my lips- not tacky or drying and so soothing.

I took a chance with purchasing this color. It gets such high reviews on MUA. On me, it is a vey boring Glossimer. I have many of them and most brighten your face. This one is too mauve/brown. It felt more like a liquid lipstick than a Glossimer. I prefer the ones with a slight shimmer; as Iris, Pailattes, and Pin Up.

When I don't know what lip color to wear I always throw on Sarong. It's a great mauve nude with fine gold shimmer. It's so pretty and it goes with everything. The perfect neutral shade. I absolutely love this one.

Thanks to reviews on MakeupAlley I decided to try this color. I totally love it! Great neutral color for fall, looks good with my fair/pale complexion. Use it with Chanel nude lip pencil.

Beautiful! A nudey, shimmery translucent gloss that lasts a good amount of time, for gloss and looks good with almost any other makeup.

So much better than giggle a little more brown with gold sparkles/shimmer.I think this shows up better on me than the giggle.

I'm surprised there are not more reviews for this. This is sort of the sister gloss to Giggle, IMHO. it is a mauvey-nude with very subtle sparkles/shimmer. It's less brown than Giggle, and is also very pigmented (unlike some other glossimers that I have). It provides almost a liquid lipstick coverage. Like other glossimers, this has a long-lasting gel texture and is not tacky/plasticky. It's appropriate for work but can also be made smoking hot with dark, smokey eyes.

Skintone: MAC NC30. I tried on this color and immediately wondered where it’s been all my life! Sarong is one of the most perfect Glossimers I own – and believe me I am a big fan of the line. The color is a rosy nude with subtle gold sparkles. Great coverage (not sheet at all) and excellent staying power. I will be heartbroken if they ever discontinue this color.

This is my was my seconf glossimer (first was blizzard) and I truly love it. Goes very natural on me, I can use it day or night. Feels soft on my lips and it is not sticky. Perfect nude color. Will repurchase.

Sarong is among my top three favorite Chanel glossimers, just behind Sirop and tied with Spark. It's the perfect nude with a hint of mauve and pink to keep my lips from looking dead. Surprisingly pigmented with just a hint of sparkle. My HG nude lipgloss, and it's especially gorgeous over any nude lipstick: Laura Mercier Discretion, Chanel Lily Beige, Guerlain KissKiss Beige Shine. Will happily repurchase.

1st HG for me! I just love Glossimers and Sarong is at the head of the class. It's a gorgeous nude shade, has teeny tiny sparkles in it and wears beautifully. The color looks pretty strange in the tube (brownish) but looks gorgeous on the lips. I can pair this gloss with any look, a definite "go to" color.

I just tried this Glossimer and it is absolutely gorgeous! I have a hard time finding a good nude lip color, and this one is lovely on...it doesn't wash me out like some nudes do. Will buy again!

I love Glossimers, but when I wore this brown/gold color my husband thought it made me look old and told me to stick with more pink :) So back it went.

I almost passed Sarong right by. But it was reccomended to me by someone with a similar skintone (NC42 naturally tan hispanic) so I tried it. I'm so glad I did because Sarong is my absolute HG of nudes. It is absolutely perfect. Not washed out at all like some nudes can be. Its a perfect mix of pink and brown with some gold shimmer. It looks creamy on my lips. And of course its a glossimer so it has the wonderful non sticky gel texture. I feel sexy when I wear sarong. And the true test, my fiance' loves it! He doesn't like me in much make up but he likes me in sarong. I hope that Chanel never stops making Sarong. I don't know what I would do if they did. Nothing I've ever tried even comes close to being as perfect. It you have a medium skintone or darker and you've been looking for that perfect nude, I highly reccomend that you run, don't walk to your nearest Chanel counter and try Sarong. Its that good.

This lip gloss for me is the perfect nude. Its not to drab as to wash me out but its not over powering, its just a perfect pinky flesh tone that is amazing on. I love this lip gloss it is currently up there with glow for my favorites. If they ever stop making this I will be picketing the company!

Sarong is described as a nude color, but it's a brown nude, not a peach or pink nude if you know what I mean. It kind of reminds me of stila cinnamon lipglaze, but w/ less shimmer. I know this has also been compared to giggle glossimer, but this is much more nude-brown on me than giggle was. Giggle was more mlbb on me, but my lips have a lot of natural pigment, whereas this tones down my natural lip color. I'm glad I got it and I like it w/ the nude blush and dunes quad from this collection for a natural day at work look.
