I do not like this perfume because it's smell is too light. It goes away within 15-20 minutes. It smells great in the bottle but not so much when sprayed. I also find this to be more of a winter perfume though!

I wish this was cold year round because I am in love with the crisp, citrus scent. The only downside is that It goes on light and disappears during the day, which requires reapplication, but I'd rather it be a little weak than too strong. The bottle is cute and because it's Burberry, you can't really go wrong.

This has a fresh light scent which I like but also bitter. Only if there was a little sweetness to it then I would of love it.
Nice Packaging and cute bottle.

I am allergic to certain fragrance's scents, but I I mostly prefer floral over fruit or food. There's some fragrances that as soon as i smell it I start sneezing right away. Some example of scents I like are waterlily, lavendar, freesia, amber, jasmine, vanilla, orchid, and patchouli. Some that I don't like are grapefruit, passion fruit, pear, apple, anis, orange, peach, and strawberry. But usually it depends on how they are mix and the proportion they use.

This is a review for what I think is the 2008 edition (the one in the picture for this review). A friend of mine had this and she let me try some of hers on and I loved it so much I had to get my on bottle. The bottle is quite lovely..kinda cutesy, pleasant to hold, simple. Normally I despise "green" just mowed grass type smells, but this is a fantastic balance of crisp freshness and florals topped off with a splash of citrus sweetness. The "green" quickly disappears and the fume mellows out into a soft sweet citrusy with a hint of "freshness". Unfortunately I have no clue what the actual notes are in this perfume, so I am not sure how "accurate" what I smell is. At any rate this perfume is crisp clean and easy to wear. It has great staying power and decent sillage. Overall I'm very happy with this perfume and it's my go to summer perfume.

I just adore this! It's a fruity floral but has a lovely zest--maybe the mandarin and cedar? I'm pretty picky with fragrances and hate those that are overly sweet, floral or boring, but this is just perfect. One of my favorite summer fragrances ever.

I love this scent. Perfection in a bottle. Not too floral, or sweet or heavy. Ok so it could last a little longer, but who really minds spritzing this on more than once a day? Burberry Classic is a favorite of mine, and this has all the similiar notes, just slightly more floral and fresh.
It's quickly getting scarce, but I was able to pick it up on Ebay for about $20 including shipping.

Oh! Such an amazing floral. I bought it off of Sephora without smelling it first, but I was so pleasantly surprised when it arrived. This is one of those scents that makes me sniff my wrist throughout the day. I wore it religiously every day & night all summer (and was planning to wear it all fall, as well, because it's just that delicious), so you can imagine my pain when one day, it slipped and crashed into pieces on my bathroom floor....

I hope they keep it around for a little longer..

Fabulous fresh summer scent--very citrusy but dries down softer and richer....very feminine. It is indeed VERY summery...so summer that the first time I smelled this, I instantly thought, "mmm, yes, summer." Much to my delight I received the 1.7oz bottle as a birthday gift from my mom. Prior to this I had been sniffing around at Sephora and fell in love with Burberry Summer for Men, which I purchased for my SO, and then I got this! I hadn't sniffed this before my birthday so I was kind of hesitant at first and went to Sephora to sniff the tester before I opened my box. Fortunately I fell in love instantly and ended up keeping it, so now he and I match. The two scents complement each other very nicely.

As the other reviewers have said below, the lasting power is abysmally bad. But summery perfumes are inherently fresh and light, so it's forgivable. I hope they release this again next summer :)

Nice spring and summer fragrance.. Just need to reapply often. Very fresh and good for any age. Even if you don't like the other Burberries, try this one.., it's very pleasant..

This smells *wonderful*! I am often not a fan of anything particularly fruity, but this one is so nicely done -- I can understand why some reviewers have purchased more than one bottle at a time! On me, this smells like a fresh, lovely combination of apples, citrus, and crisp greenness, along with the vaguest hint of some creamy floral. The notes mention moss and vanilla as well, but I don't pick up on those here. As many have said, this really does smell like "summer" (though I can easily imagine wearing it in spring and fall as well). I like the bottle and the heavily weighted top. I picked up a brand-new 1.7 oz bottle for only $25 on eBay. Now for the downside (to echo many others): the lasting power is zilch. I have to spray it about a billion times a day to smell it on myself with any continuity. Also, it's not particularly original. But sometimes I just want to smell fresh, lovely, and really, really pretty, and Burberry Summer fits that job description to a T.

I loved this scent. It smells just like summer - crisp and clean. Now for the bad part: imagine yourself standing on the beach and spraying it into the wind - that's about how long it lasts. I returned it today - absolutely no staying power, but a great scent.

I love this perfume. I wear it daily! When it came out I was instantly in love with it - its so fresh and summery! I bought 2 bottles because I thought it was limited edition and I am glad I did. It lasts all day! I LOVE this fragrance. I have never in my life finished a bottle of perfume and this one I am nearing the end of bottle #1.

I bought this from Sephora without sampling and am soooo glad I did! It is as wonderful as I imagined it would be. Light, summery and soft, it is the perfect summer scent. Alas, as others have stated, the lasting power is not great, but I love it still and just reapply as needed.

this is the original burberry w/ the grapefruit and citrus added to it so it isn't too sweet or overpowering... I like this better than the original version. This is nice for the summer. too bad it's limited edition.

Very lovely... I've been looking for a citrus floral that was not too sharp, and I finally think I've found it. It really is "summer in a bottle" as many have already said. It's feminine but approachable, and very well-blended, imo. I have to agree with the other reviewers on lasting power -- It did not last long enough for my taste, so that is disappointing. Oh well...I pray that Burberry has a matching lotion for this scent, since layering would help get more mileage out of it. However, as for the scent itself, it's 5 lippies for sure, in spite of the lack of lasting power.

My favorite perfume, I love this scent. I agree that the staying power isn't great, but besides that it's perfect for me... To give you an idea how much I like this scent, I actually bought 3 bottles, in case Burberry doesn't bring it back next year....

I've been a fan of the Burberry London EDP for years. It had been one of my staples that I always got compliments on. So I really had high hopes for this. Firstly, it smells nothing like the original. That would be fine if it smelled as good. IN my opinion, it's very basic and generic. And lasting power is a few hours at best. There's really no sillage at all as far as I can tell. I guess I'd classify it as a scent you wear for everyday NOT for a special occasion. It just doesn't make me feel pretty, sophisticated, care-free, or anything else for that matter. I'm just aware that I'm wearing perfume- and in my opinion that's not a good thing.

Ohhh, this is the best fragrance I've purchased in a long, long time. It's feminine, fresh, and would make any girl feel pretty. The name is perfect -- this is the sublime fragrance for summer days in your flowy sundress and flip flops. If you love citrusy floral scents, pick up Burberry Summer as fast as you can!
