First off, this deodorant is amazing. I have it in "light and fresh scent" and it smells so nice. It glides on smoothly, even when I've recently shaved. That's a big factor to me because my skin gets very irritated normally after I shave. It keeps me much drier than most other deodorants I've used in the past. It also doesn't end up leaving white/light colors shirts with the dark spots in the armpits. Great product!

I had high hopes for this product. When I opened it, I found that the product itself was much smaller than the box- how misleading. I think it cost around $7.50 for that small package. It was not worth it! Background: I stress sweat fairly heavily; it leaves stains and is obnoxious, embarrassing, and gross. This product barely did more to stop the sweating than a normal deo/antiperspirant combo. It felt disgusting to put on and took 15 minutes to almost dry (never doing so fully), and it smelled terrible. It's put me off of using so-called clinical strength antiperspirants ever again. The only reason I gave it two points was for a *very* slight improvement on the sweating and for not irritating my skin as many clinicals supposedly do.
My advice? Try Certain Dri. It's only been a week of using it for me, but I've noticed a huge difference in the sweating- it's barely there anymore. While I did experience itching and burning, it was mild and has lessened with time. I love it!

Excellent. This stuff will have your back. I developed a problem where scented deorderants would stink whenever I would sweat. Then with that in mind I would become anxious more easily, causing me to sweat more. What a vicious cycle.

This brand is well composed. If I sweat it doesn't bleed through my blouses. Prior to using this I would have to scrub my underarms on my blouses as soon as I got home otherwise when I washed them the smell would absorb and ruin the shirt. I no longer have to worry about that.
Thank you to whoever engineered this. My life is finally normal again. I know that sounds cheesy but hygiene is really important, when you have a problem that you can't control it really affects you. One deodorant could fix it all :)

Pros:

smells awesome. many nice fragrances to choose from. my favs are serene citrus and lavendar

not irritating to underarms. petrolatum leaves skin soft.

Cons:

expensive.

doesn't work!! i apply this at bedtime, as directed, and it doesn't do anything to stop the sweating. Applying it more often than once daily doesn't help either.

Dial can be difficult to turn.

I have the waterproof one. I sweat a lot...and this is the only deodorant that works for me. I apply it as soon as soon as I dry off from a shower. If I don't apply it ASAP I find it doesn't work. It is expensive compared to other deodorants, but it is well worth it for me.

I tend to sweat a lot since I am overweight, so one day I needed something stronger than my Dove deodorant, which I adore, but lets sweat make big circles under my armpits. I was going to wear a satin top, so obviously sweat would not be subtle. I needed a clear antiperspirant that would hold up to how much I sweat. Well, this was it. I would use it everyday if i wasn't for the price, which is high for an aniperspirant (aroud 10 to 12 $ CAN).

I'm not really sure what to say about this. I've been looking at reviews for all the clinical strength deodorants and was originally going to get the Degree one, but CVS didn't have it so I got this instead in the light and fresh scent. I feel like a sweat more than the average person, but it's more of an inconvenience than a problem. So, I followed the directions to put it on before bed, yada yada yada.. and it worked really well the next day. However, that's the only time that it really worked for perspiration, after that it just started to work like regular deodorant, if not worse. I mean, it smells fantastic and reminds me of the febreeze odor effects scent, but I found that over the course of about a week, I started to develop b.o... I don't get b.o. EVER. Just sweat. It seemed like my body became immune to the chemical that's supposed to make you stop sweating, and even made me sweat MORE. On top of all that, it was like $12 and the container starts out half full when you get it, therefore ripping us off! I guess you could say I expected more from this product...

Age: 36-43   Skin: Combination, Fair, Neutral   Hair: Brown, Straight, Fine   Eyes: Blue

PROS: WOrks well, especially if used as my application tips below describe. I prefer the Freshwater Orchid Scent for those that have scent, but my favorite is the unscented one.

CONS: The price is a little steep, compared to the Suave version of this.

APPLICATION TIPS: I apply this at night on clean and very dry armpits. Then when I shower in the morning, I use a bodywash that removes all traces of this (the chemical has already done its work during the night). THis actually prevents sweating better for me. I sometimes also use a natural deodorant after showering like the one y Kiss my Face or some name like that (on dry armpits).

ALTERNATES: Suave has a great version that is much cheaper. Certain-Dri blows this out of the water, as far as effectiveness.

This product did not work for me at all. Fresh out the shower it did not last 2 hours and I was at work!!!!! Not pleased Secret packaging is always nice. I believe that the cheaper products in this line are better.

Didn't do much for me at all. It would last for maybe 4-5 hours and then I'd have to reapply. It's also really easy to get too much product out which was annoying.

My go to deodorant. Best protection EVER. And no ladies just because you buy a deodorant that says "clinical strength" does not mean you are a smelly nasty person with a problem lol. This stuff lasts all day and then some, smells great (I use the light and fresh scent) and doesn't clump up in your armpits because its pretty much a cross between a solid and a gel. It lasts pretty long (quantity wise) and is a bit more expensive than your ordinary deodorants but works FAR better. I will buy this product for life. I feel like regular stick deodorants don't work for anyone except pre-teen girls perhaps. So sorry but I am a 22 year old woman and I still don't wanna be the smelly kid lol so I use the d.o. for the b.o. (secret clinical strength).

Pros: Doesn't get on clothes, absorbs well, doesn't feel sticky after it has absorbed, completely gets rid of odors, stops sweating for the most part

Cons: The scent comes out extremely strong when you start sweating, I prefer unscented deodorant, you still sweat some

This deodorant was the worst deodorant I have ever purchased. First off, when I took the actual deodorant bottle out of its box, the bottle was about 1/2 the size of its box, and only filled about half full. It was really ridiculous how misleading the packaging is. And in terms of actually using it, it had the complete opposite affect I expected from a product of this price. I bought this because sometimes I have a little under-arm wetness, but when I used this product I actually had sweat DRIPPING down my arms. I never in my life have had that happen, ever. I would switch between my old deodorant and this one, and the old one (cheap 3$ off-brand) works perfectly and this one (around 10$) made sweating worse then if I hadn't been wearing any at all. This deodorant SUCKED to put it mildly, do NOT buy it and fund the company who decided to produce this sorry excuse of a deodorant.

A very effective product and does not leave white residue on clothes. I do not like the orchid fragrance but the lavender and fresh scents are good.

I have the Waterproof version. I get sweaty after a brisk walk, at work, and when I'm hot. And I get stinky. *sigh* I usually need a deo in my purse for halfway through the day. This deodorant does not do anything special at preventing visible sweaty spots, but it really does cut down on odor completely. Certain Dri is the only thing that seems to actually stop wetness for me. I will might try other brands, but I would probably re-buy this because it seriously eliminates odor for 12+ hours.

I have a perspiration issue, not an odor one. This. Stuff. Works. Keeps me dry all day. I have not experienced any itching or irritation. The directions say to use it at night, but to be honest, after 20 years of putting deodorant on when I dress in the morning, I kept forgetting to use it at night. I use it in the morning, and it's fine.I only wish this stuff had been around a few years ago, when a prescription I took made my sweating even worse- it could have saved me a lot of embarrassment!

I have hyperhidrosis (I sweat excessively for no reason on my hands/feet/under arms). It is so embarrassing and so many shirts have been ruined thanks to sweat stains. I have tried every antiperspirant out there with no luck. Then I tried this and again, I had no luck. I went to the dermatologist and she prescribed an oral medication to take, but it didn't work. Apparently, my only other option was Botox. I'm terrified of needles and I'm 16...I can't afford Botox.
I came to terms with the fact that this is something that I was going to have to deal with for the rest of my life (the odds of growing out of this condition are very slight). All I could do was use antiperspirant and possibly change shirts 2-3 times a day. So I went to the store and I bought this again, because I hoped that maybe, since it was a bit stronger, there would be some tiny difference.
READ THE DIRECTIONS! You are supposed to use 2-3 clicks under each arm AT NIGHT. I used 1 click under each arm in the morning, that's why it didn't work the first time! I use this at night, and a regular antiperspirant in the morning, and I barely sweat under my arms at all! It's not irritating and it doesn't sting. Considering how well this works, I would pay $100 a bottle.
I literally cried when I found out that this worked. You have no idea how hard it is to have hyperhidrosis. It affects every aspect of my life. I don't have to worry about sweating through my shirts anymore. I CAN LIVE A NORMAL LIFE THANKS TO THIS ANTIPERSPIRANT! This has saved me! I will continue to use this forever! Thank you secret clinical strength. :)

This worked the same as non-Clinical Strength deodorants and I still have 'underarm wetness' but this may be because I naturally sweat a lot. :( And it stings and itches sometimes. Unfortunately, I bought this in a pack of 3 so I have 2 more to go.. oh well, I really hope I find a deodorant that works next time. Maybe I'll ask my doctor.

This is the most effective anti-perspirant I've ever tried. It really does last all day to keep wetness and odor away. It's a cream type of soft solid which "oozes" out through openings in the top of the container. Unlike other high potency anti-perspirants, Secret Clinical does not sting, itch or irritate your skin. I prefer the Powder scent but the Fresh scent is nice, too. I haven't tried the others. The only real downfall is the price. It's usually about $7 or so for the 1.6oz size, which does not last very long. However, I was able to find a 12 pack of the 1.6oz size on Amazon.com for about $33. That's the best price I've seen. If you have an issue with perspiration or maybe just have an important event to attend, such as an interview or a wedding, etc, I highly recommend this product.

I've tried dozens of deodorants over the years. I noticed that using the regular ones did not keep my underarms dry all day so I decided to try a few clinical strength products and this is the best one I've used. I only apply it once in the morning and it keeps me dry all day. I use the Sport one (orange letters) and I absolutely love how it smells and feels. Some deodorants smell like baby powder or diapers but this one doesn't. One of these lasts me a little over a month.
