So I use the Body wash as a facewash and a body wash. I use this instead of the facewash because I found the exfoliating beads in the facewash to irriate my skin (the bodywash has finer beads). I used Murad for YEARS and I loved it, but it much too expensive for what you get (the packaging is small, and there are cheaper competitors). I have used this for months...and my skin has looked the best that it has ever looked. I use it everyday. First I use Cetaphil to wash off my makeup then I follow up with this...its wonderful. I think I will purchase the Toner at some point (to help expedite the removal of past acne scars). But my skin looks near perfect minus old scars from years ago that are fading fast! If you are looking for a Sal. Acid treatment thats inexpensive and works very well very quickly then I highly suggest that you look into this product.
its also great on your body. when I wear my hair naturally curly I have to wet it everyday and put a lot of product in it so it doesnt get frizzy...and during those days are the days that I use this the body wash on my body...if i dont get get breakouts on my chest and back from my hair products....and this stuff WORKS MIRACLES....the skin on my chest and back stays flawless :)
I will repurchase over and over again
UPDATE: I do not like the toner for my face...but I will continue to use on my neck and chest for the reasons stated above...I also went back to Murad, I could stay away, lol...but I will always use this bodywash and toner for my body, its great :)

PROS: Works great for my teens' acne skin.
CONS: Don't seem to have a spot treatment gel, but they ended up not using that anyway.
ALTERNATES: They use the scrub, toner and the face lotion (for the occasional flake) from this line. When they need even more oomph, they use the "Rapid Clear" line by Neutrogena or Alba Botanica's Natural Acnedote line.

These products are great! I began using them 3 days ago and I am already seeing my breakouts clear. I have mild breakouts, but as I said they are going away! I love all of these products and I highly recommend them to anyone with mild breakouts!

good sides: the foam feels good when cleansing & the lotion is refreshing.
bad sides: the foaming wash didnt seem to clear my acne, but actually made it worse & redder. its also a bit drying after washing face, and theres too much parfum in these products in my opinion.

i don't recommend this line in neutrogena.
i can't understand anybody who says that they got amazing results from these. seeing from the ingredients list, it doesnt contain anything good for your skin except salicylic acid & cucumber extract, and this is far too little good stuff compared with the bad ingredients. the balance is just not right...
EDIT: to people suffering out there with acne, i really recommend you to try all natural products without any chemicals in it. it's made a huge difference in my skin. i make my own cleanser nowdays: millk, a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and a teaspoon of manuka honey of 20 UMF. VERY antibacterial and nurishing, gets rid of inflamed acne & kills the bacteria by making the skin too acidic for it to live on. (which is GOOD because when we're a baby & a young child, our skin's pH is 4 on the scale and thats very acidic. a child's skin is mostly very soft, clear and flawless, and its because of the acidity to it. as we use soaps which are alkaline, it makes our skin less acidic, which makes the acne bacteria more habitable on our skin. its just the feeling that makes you feel fresh if you use soap.) anyways, i hope you guys good luck with clearing your skin!

I saw the allure rating and considered getting all of the products, but it was a big mistake. I have never broken out like this before and it led to me seeing a dermatologist who pointed out its harmful effects.

This review is for the body wash that they added to the line. After struggling with my body breakouts coming back out of the blue, this cleared me up in about 3 days. My skin felt calm and cleaner after the first use. I've been using for a few weeks now and I'm very pleased! It is a tad bit strong on the cucumber smell, but I like it and it fades after you dry off. Great stuff!

I use the entire line and I love it! It decreased my breakouts dramatically (but I think that's also due to my BC) and the cucumber scent is calming =) As a college student (a freshman, no less), classes can be very stressful and this line relieves me from stressing about my skin too much

This review is for the power cream wash only.
the good- it helped with blackheads on the nose a bit.
the bad- gave me a lot of little whiteheads- a form of acne i usually don't experience.
will not be buying again.

I have moderate acne and have tried to many different things. I finally decided to try this and I LOVE it, the cleanser smells so nice and i can feel it soothing my skin with a nice tingling feeling. I use the lotion at night because theres not enough moisture for me during the day especially during the winter time. Other then that I would definatly recoment this stuff. Try it!

I am such a huge fan of these products. I never used Neutrogena in the past and stuck with Olay or L'Oreal face washes but two of my girlfriends raved about this line so I picked it up at Target. I use the cream cleanser, 3-in-1 acne treatment and the scrub. I have been using this stuff for about 3 weeks now and my skin looks better than it has in a long time. I've never had acne but am prone to the occassional break out and this stuff is like a rescue team for my face! The cleanser & exfoliator keep my face clear but if I do feel a break out coming on I use the 3-in-1 treatment and I swear this stuff has literally stopped blemishes overnight. This line has a very light, fresh scent. Almost like a cucumber melon but it's so faint it's hard to pinpoint. I normally avoid scented face products like the plague because they tend to irritate my skin but I actually like Neutrogena's scent. What I love about this line is that it does keep my face clear but isn't overly harsh or drying on my skin. I have tried a lot of these types of products that make my skin dry, red & flaky but this line is very soothing. Highly recommended- the price points can't be beat!

I've using it for 3 months and my acne-prone skin has never looked better. The toner has loads of alcohol, but it doesn't irritate or dry my skin out. And the hydrating treatment is so gentle that I can't believe it has 2% salycilic acid in it. (I don't use this moisturizer in the morning though, because it has lots of silicone in it and it makes sunblock or makeup ball up.) Highly recommended for those with mild/moderate acne. Overoall, this is the best working acne system I've ever used. I hope they never discontinue this line.

I have adult/hormonal acne. I tend to go through big skin change in the spring & fall making my skin super oily and prone to breakouts. I also break out on my chest and behind my ears (?).
I tried this line over a year ago and love it. I use the foaming cleanser in the mornings along with the 3 in 1 treatment on my face, neck and chest. My skin has never looked so clear. It even calms down the redness in my cheeks. Love it. I also exfoliate with a microfiber cloth twice a week which helps. These products do not over dry my skin like alot of others did. I don't seem to build up an immunity to them either.
I did try the new creamy cleanser too but found it slightly too harsh. I am having a problem with sensitivity so that might be why. Also, I haven't used the scrub so I can't comment on that. I stay away from scrubs in general.
I love this line. I hope it never gets dc'd

I've been using the cream cleanser for a while. I've had a few breakouts- only minor ones, but I know it's because of the moisturizer (I've been using the wrong one- intense moisturizer for dry skin instead of salicylic acid for oily). Anyway, it smells great and it's non-irritating. Usually, I'd buy gel ones for my oily skin, but it really really dried my skin that I'd have to add a lot of moisturizer and my face becomes oilier. So the cream is really good, because it's non-irritating and doesn't make my face drier (which in turn makes my face oilier).
It's only been a few weeks, and it is good with getting rid of break outs. Preventing them, slightly, but we'll see.
I use this in conjunction with The Body Shop Natural Oceanic Mask (for spot treatment and all over the face) for getting rid of zits and it works really well.

So I read the many positive reviews on this line. I went out and got the line and couldn't wait to start using it. Well, what can I say? It worked for me...for a while. I won't say that I got results from the first week I used it. I didn't start seeing results until my second week of using this. I used the foaming cleanser in the morning and the scrub at night. I used the 3-in-1 hydrating treatment at night. I used that once at night for 1 month before I started using it twice a day. It did not dry out my skin like I expected to because I moisturize all the time. Anyways, it made some of my acne go down when I first started using this. It's my second month using this product and I only used 1/4 of each of the 3 bottles. The foaming wash did not work for me, so I only used the scrub. i researched about acne solutions and apparently, if products contain less than 2% benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, then its pointless using it to treat acne. I'm guessing that my skin is now tolerant to these products because it stopped working for me. ;/ Which upsets me because I was hoping that this would be my solution for my acne problem. Unfortunately, I am still in search of a solution, although I think that will take awhile because always have tremedous stress.

I have been using the foam cleanser and the 3-in-1 treatment for a few months now. I will admit that at first I loved this stuff, but as the days pass it seems my skin is going back to its old acne-prone self. It was good while it worked but am on the hunt for something that will work in the long run. Since they the line isn't that expensive I say it is worth a shot. Good luck!

I loved this for a while, and my skin looked great. Soft, clear, and moisturized. I use the wash and treatment at night and the scrub and treatment in the morning, followed by a Neutrogena oil-free moisturizer morning and night. It leaves my skin really soft, but slightly dry, so I added the moisturizer (which I already knew wouldn't break me out). After using it for about a month, it seems to have lost effectiveness. I break out on a daily basis. They go away a bit faster, but are still really annoying. The treatment used to be my favorite, and now all it seems to do is ball up on my skin. I still really like how the cleanser and scrub feel, but they're not doing much anymore. I think I'll go back to Clinique Acne Solutions: more expensive and drying, but at least it cleared up my skin really well, unlike this.

This line seriously works. Possibly better than Proactiv? I wouldn't know because I've never tried Proactiv. But I haven't exactly heard rave reviews about it (dries out skin too much, ineffective, etc.), so I was reluctant to try it. I HATE flaky skin.
I'm a high school student, and my skin gets soooo clear in the summer. So much so that I don't even need much makeup, if any. But once the school year comes around, BAM! The breakouts get worse and worse as the year progresses. It gets really bad during stressful periods (exams, holidays, etc...no sleep + stress = baaaaad breakouts).
I've been meaning to try this line for a while now, but that's been impossible because I live in Canada. It's unfortunate that these wonderful products - the cleansing foam, the treatment, and the scrub - are not available in Canada. Hopefully, this changes soon.
Like I said, it is highly effective. I don't know if it is the wash, the treatment or the scrub that's really working its magic (I'm guessing it's the treatment), but I don't care. I bought the entire line when I was in the States a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. I use the cleansing foam and the treatment twice a day and the scrub twice a week.
I'm really stressed lately and have not been getting nearly enough sleep, but my skin is pretty clear. AND BONUS: it isn't dried out!!! My acne-prone skin is finally happy.

I'm in my early 30s and have been battling acne off and on due to hormones. I decided to try this line after reading the rave reviews. I was pretty skeptical. I had tried Neutrogena's Acne Wash a while back and it killed my skin. I use the scrub in the morning, the foaming face wash at night, and the hydrating treatment morning and night. My skin has been clearing up and there is no dryness. I'm very impressed! I thought the menthol in the scrub would bother me, but I don't find it irritating at all. Each day my skin is getting better. This is the first time I've had luck with Neutrogena acne products. I will certainly repurchase and encourage anyone with adult acne to give these products a shot.
