Beach is spot-on for the capture of the beach and ocean. To me, it smells exactly like Coppertone, salty air, and ocean on the skin. In fact, I like it as the day progresses and it becomes subdued. Yes, some might say that it disappears, but if you smell yourself at the wrist, it is still there. Even through hand washing, it's still there.
I purchased the lotion and that layering helps to keep the fragrance going most of the day. I have also discovered that BBW Sea Island Cotton is just the perfect compliment to use as the lotion for the Beach perfume. Love it.

This is a unique fragrance, it must be layered and m/b sprayed on clothes to getting any lasting power, which is disapponting but not a deal breaker. It DOES smell like the beach exactly and that is very unique. I bought two bottles as it does not last long and needed one for car and the mositurizer, the oil is very weak in fragrance. If you really really like the smell of the ocean get this.

I love the smell of this product! Love how it smells like copertone on the beach! However, the staying power is very disappointing!! It only lasts a few minutes! I put it on and it disappears too fast!

Well this was dissapointing. Been eagerly trying to get my hands on a sample of this for a long time. Smelled rather sour "off". In truth this is probably what most non glamorous beaches smells like, not the fresh tropical island paradise ones we all daydream about.

ok, objectively, this is one hell of a unique perfume....
for all of you non-americans, it is very hard to describe what kind of combo this is...
let me try, at least...
if you've been using Yves Rocher cosmetics, they have a wonderful shampoo called Nutrition Nourishing shampoo (picture of oats on it)....and everytime I washed my hair with it I was immensely reminded of a beautiful time I've spend that one summer in France, when I was nearly 14....it was the smell of strange people, sea, luxurious promise of something to come, of foreign beaches,of strange mediterranean flowers called pythospore..(very B&BW Moringa way)....
I could'nt call this ''a natural'' fume because it is a perfume that captures the atmosphere....the feeling....it is not an average scent that clothes you like other perfumes...
I can't say I love it, it is much too soon for that, but I really, really like it....
great gardenia, not too boring or too strong...vera interesting indeed...
but after 10 minutes I have a feeling that this one won't be lastin' long..
and according to all the reviews, the living time of Beach is very short...nevertheless, I thing I just might enjoy it to the max, layering Beach with some other scents...
beachy? well, yeah...buit most of all gardenia-laden in the best/mediterranean/pythospore/postapocalyptic sort of way

I LOVE this perfum! I have been on a search for the perfect beach perfume and have tried lots but everyone is too coconut/fruity for me, but Beach is identical to what I was looking for!!! My husband purchased it for me as a gift and I wear it every day, the scent lasts for a few days and I usually reappy half way though the day anyway. Sephora sells it for less than other stores.

You have to give this fragrance a shot-I fell in love with it two years ago, and I keep it for warm weather months...unless I am overwhelmed with a cold New England January day and then I might bust it out. It makes me smile and it gets instant reaction wherever I go. It lasts all day on me and I think it is well worth the price. It is the sand and the waves AND the coppertone, lol.

I do like this, but for all of u out there saying its overpriced, with NO staying power, try Demeter's Suntan Lotion perfume. Better price, lasts all day, and way cheaper. It's one of those I can still smell on my shirt when I do the laundry...

For all the other beachy fragrances out there... Bobbi Brown Beach is the one to beat! This one truly smells just like the beach to me. A lot of others on here say it smells like the old school Coppertone, I wouldn't know, I've never smelled the old school Coppertone, however I really like the smell of it. Beach is the best one out there, it's a little pricey but the smell is incredible. They hit it out of the park with this one!

After lusting after this for a few years, I finally splurged on a bottle. It smells exactly like Coppertone and the beach-a very nostalgic scent. I would never wear this to work because it does smell so "beachy", but I wear it every weekend during the warm months. It does not last but a few hours, but I just spray through out the day, so it does't bother me too much. It's a really fun fragrance that makes me feel happy.

I LOVE the summer suntan oil scent. But, this fragrance has NO staying power.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Hazel
I love this scent but it's not something I can wear everyday. It does small strongly of sunscreen but in a just- got- out- of- the- ocean way. It can be strong and people definitely either hate it or love it. One of my students in my classroom yelled out "it smells like the beach in here," which I thought was hilarious because I teach kids who have emotional disturbance and she seemed unaware in most aspects of her life except identifying this perfume's inspiration (she also went to Florida every summer).

now this is a REAL beach smell. not every beach is tropical and for the record, coppertone changed its scent years ago. this is awesome, reminds me of NJ shore.. (not the dumb MTV show, the beautiful magical beach towns that i am lucky enough to live so close to)
i will not repurchase because it is way overpriced

This perfume is just like a day on the beach. I wore it on a recent trip, and all the waitress' at the bar I was at were asking me what I was wearing; that I smelled so good. All the guys at my work love it too. This one is definetley a keeper.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green
Smells clean and fresh and doesn't turn on me (too acidy as many blue, green, fresher fragrances can) or turn too heady and musky like my favorite scents can (Bulgari's Jasmine Noir and Doir's Hypnotic Poison) I prefer something weighty, musky and almost dirty or boozy, but for a clean fresh fragrance that doesn't smell too sweet, this hits it out of the park. Nothing too strong or crisp (as most lighter ones are), just soft and light. Perfect for when I don't want to not-smell, but I certainly am not looking to smell like perfume either.
Wish it had a little more staying power and I do prefer something of a tad more powder, but for what it's intended to be, it's lovely! (one lippie off for staying power)
can't go wrong wtih this, always makes me feel happy, light and gives me a shot of energy most can't. Very refreshing yet still a smidge of "perfume" and femininity--tough combo and she did it.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Green
Everytime I wear this fragrance, people tell me that it smells amazing and reminds them of a "beach" :) It's one of the men-attracting perfumes which makes you feel confident and sexy. A MUST!
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
I love this scent! It makes me think of summer instantly. I dont wear much perfume since most of it gives me a headache but this doesnt and it instantly lifts my mood. I find it's staying power is fine
Age: 36-43 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
My dh rarely comments on my literally hundreds of perfumes and said 'oh you smell summery'. I really like this and interestingly get the sun lotion vibe even though I grew up in England and had European holidays in the 70s when the sun protection of choice was ambre solaire not coppertone, scary considering my pale skin! Smells fresh and light, every so often I get an unfortunate cheap toilet cleaner smell smilar to the one I get from clean fragrances and some of the philosophy ones. Not enough to put me off though. A lovely one to have on a summer fragrance wardrobe. Shame about the absurd price.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Beach! I was given the soap as a gift from a friend at work and I keep it in my desk to pull out and smell when I need a moment to drift away from the humdrum of the workday. It's a wonderful smell that instantly takes me back to going down the shore and heading to the beach in my grandparents big ol' Caddy! Best part: it's nearly impossible to wear too much! Thank heavens for that!

This is the only perfume that I've used a whole bottle and bought a second. I only wear it in the summer, and I spray it all over, and in my hair. Man it smells good - just like what it's called. Love love love.
