I picked this up when Cargo was having a 50% off their plantlove line sale on the recommendations of a fellow MUAer. It looked very dark when I got it and I was hesitant it would be unflattering. However, it is a beautiful, sheer berry with a fine golden shimmer and I have fallen in love with it. It is absolutely flattering with my olive skin and green eyes and easy to apply lightly or layer it for a deeper color. It wears very nicely over time and is not at all drying. This could definitely be HG material for a flattering day or night berry l/s. Yellowstone, I am in love!
Edit: It has now acquired a smell and I've had less than a year. I have never hand any other l/s go bad on me and I've had them for longer. I will be tossing this and will not purchase any other Cargo l/s for this reason. Ick!

I've been looking for a mauve lipstick or gloss that didn't make me look like I was an extra in Night of the Living Dead. This one has just enough of a pink undertone and a hint of shimmer to keep me from looking like death warmed over.
Going on it feels a bit dry, however it's actually very silky and lasts even through a cup of tea.
This may become one of my HG products.

I am perplexed by the descriptions below. Berry? On me it's straight up medium pink. Plastic pink.. like a slightly darker Barbimobile.
It's one of the only pinks I can wear without feeling childish. For that reason I have repurchased.
The formula's somewhat drying, though.

Can I just say i love this product? It is moisturizing without being greasy. The berry-mauve color lasts pretty well. And the lipstick tube is recyclable. Also the fact that this lipstick is made from organic ingredients. No more petroleum! Yay!! The color selection is pretty extensive. I just wish cargo would integrate organic ingredients into more of their products.

Even if I hated the color, I would give this five stars for packaging alone. Its very cute and earth-friendly. I can't wait to plant my boxes. Its not my favorite color, but it looks nice on me. This lipstick is a very neutral berry on me-almost like a nude berry. I find it has a nice creamy consistency and I don't find it drying at all, but there is definitely no shine here. You'll need to add gloss if you want shine. I can't wait to try other colors.

First off, I have to admit I really bought it to support the environmental message. I figure if they sell a lot, other companies will copy and that would be a good thing. I also love that some of the $ goes to charity which makes the $20 cost less painful.
With that said, I wish the lipstick was better. The color is a bit more pink than a YLBB color, but not garish at all. Staying power was ok, average. It was incredibly drying for whatever reason. I recommend topping with a gloss, but that may affect staying power.
For whatever it's worth, I am a fair skinned, red-head and the color worked fine for me.
