I'm really surprised at the negative reviews about this product. I think this is the best Vitamin C Serum I've ever used, and lament the decision to discontinue it by Remede. It does all it promises to do: brighten the skin, lessen wrinkles, improve elacticity, and fade sunspots. The only problem I have with it is the packaging - it's a bit difficult to control the flow of the serum. Results-wise, this is a brilliant product, but now the hunt starts for something of a similar quality. Sigh.

I thought I had hit the jackpot when I found this product for $9.99 at a Marshall's discount store. After I've been using it for 5 months, I have to say I would have really kicked myself had I paid a penny more for it. It does absolutely nothing for me- maybe that's good: it doesn't break out my skin at all, which is why I gave it a 2 rating overall. But I have yet to see any positive results from it. I cannot see any difference in my skin. I have kept on using it, because I know products take time and consistency to see any results, and because I do believe vitamin C might be good for your skin. But I really hate the maple syrup smell. Over the past months, I have seen a gradual progression in the dry parts of my skin, with more fine lines (I'm in my early 30s), so I'm disappointed that this has done nothing for my skin's apprearance.

A big splurge for a very small amount of VitC serum - I think Skinceuticals and Obagi make ones that give more bang for your buck. Still, this is a good option if your skin is particularly sensitive like mine. It doesn't burn or sting, nor does it cause the skin to flake as badly. What I don't care for is the strange consistency...a watery gel that absorbs IMMEDIATELY. I hardly have time to apply it to the skin before it disappears into my palms. It absorbs lightning fast like a toner would. I feel like I'm wasting the product. I find the scent odd too...like maple syrup - gives me a serious craving for pancakes :P The results with this is gradual compared to stronger VitC serums, that's why I don't think I'll repurchase...much too expensive overall.
