Okay product. makes hair soft and conditions it. not amazing with helping frizz, however. it's decent. makes waves and curls a more defined.
-EDIT-
i left this in a bun overnight, and it pretty much just sat on top of my hair and made it greasy looking. had to blow dry it in. taking off a lippie. problably won't repurchase...better stuff out there.

For some uneplained reason, my hair suddenly turned very very frizzy last summer. I had a desperate shopping spree for every single frizz taming product I could find at Wal-Mart. This is one of the few products that is still kicking around in my bathroom. While I can't use it anymore because it weighs down my fine hair, a dab of this makes my hair amazingly soft. Frizz helping? Not so much. Softness? Ohh yeaahh. The smell is nice and fresh, the consistancy is easy to spread. I wouldn't call this a miracle product, but it's nice once in a while. Also, you can't beat the price. I just wish my hair was thicker so that I could use it everyday.

Update: Original rating 4 stars. I had to stop using this because it weighed down my hair too much.

Overall, it is an o product. I had to make sure to use just a little because it tends to weight my hair down.

This product helped me somewhat with my frizzy hair. I use a tiny little bit and spray a little of my glycerin water mix (10:1 ratio), and then apply it to the hair, and then style as usual. I like that it is a cream, I;m not a fan of hair gel, and I like that this product does not make my hair hard (like many mousses, sprays, and gels that I have tried in the past)

I got this to help out my fine yet thick somewhat frizzy hair during the summer months. I put it on damp hair before I blow dry and it seems to help. Not amazing, but not bad foor the price.

I have only used this twice and have to add that my hair is quite damaged from color and also very, very dry from a medical condition. I got tired of using products for frizz and shine that are just slick, where a tiny drop too much leaves you with a greasy head. I like that this is a cream and thick, so it does not run all over. I have liked it so far, though my hair still frizzed somewhat, but given the problems I contend with, that wasn't shocking. I think it's a nice product that simplifies my routine. I got it at a dollar store so of course the proce was right!;)

My review is for women with curly hair. I have curly, coarse, thick and extremely frizzy hair. It was so frizzy that my hair wouldn't curl anymore, but I'd have this giant poof of half-curls, straight strands and exterme frizz all over. I tried mousse, gel and hair serum (Mitchell, Graham Webb, Neutrogena, Frieda), nothing worked, I mean nothing! So I decided to do online searches for the best de-frizzing cream for women with curly hair. A miracle happened when I discovered Sunsilk De-Frizz for Curls at Walgreens and it's AWESOME!!!! Other online reviews on other website raved about this product. The packaging isn't impressive, it comes in a green bottle with a spout, nothing fancy and the price is about $5!! The key is that you must apply it to wet hair. So I washed my hair last night, applied this while wet, the product is a white cream, not oily, and I layed it on thick, and finished off with a bit of serum. OMG!!!! The results are unbelievable!!! I have beautiful, defined bouncy, big waterfall curls, which are so soft and which cascade down past my shoulders and best of all - NO FRIZZ!!! Yeah!!! Not bad for someone who lives in high humidity East Coast weather! Where has this been all my life, definitely a must have for any girl with curly hair!!! My HG product!!!!!!!
EDIT: Used to work great, but it turns out, doesn't tame frizz during the summer months.

I have wavy hair and have spent lots of $ trying to find a product that assist with the frizz and moisturize. I saw this product at RiteAid on sale 2 for $6 which is inexpensive and figured I had nothing to lose. Next morning after washing my hair I apply this along with a bit of gel and mousse and let my hair air dry. All I can say is wow, it tamed the frizz and it makes my hair feel a bit soft. I color my hair alot so I'm not expecting instant moisture. But I'm glad that I tried this product. I love it and I bought 2 more bottles.

I'm going to ruin the great ratings this has, but I just don't think it's that great. I used it on towel-dried hair, and by the time it was totally dry, my hair was pretty frizzed. I still had to apply some products onto my dry hair like I always do. Maybe if I mix this with gel or something, I'll get great results. Maybe if I try it on soaking wet hair... but for now, I wouldn't re-purchase. Also, while it smells good, I don't like such strong smelling hair products. It competes with my perfume, which I don't spend so much money on to have drowned out by my hair.

I have somewhat thick, past my shoulders, curly hair. I love this product. It defrizzes, defines curls, and lasts all day (through the Houston humidity!). I def. recommend this, its my HG curl defining-defrizzer creme/lotion.

YIKES! I am almost afraid to say it, I don't want to jynx it.... but I think I have FINALLY, and I mean FINALLY found something that controls my frizzy curls!!! I have tried TONS of different products to calm my hair down. I have extremely thick hair. I have never, ever gone to get my hair done without the stylist saying something along the lines of Wow you have tons of hair, or I still can't believe how much hair you have etc. It is naturally curly, and I prefer it straight but it takes me about an hour to straighten it. When I don't have the time to straighten it I have always wished I could wear it curly and down, but if I wear it curly I always end up having to put it up by the time it dried completely because it's just so big. A big poof ball of curls. Just before trying this I tried the Beyond the Zone frizz serum, and it helped, but I still ended up putting my hair up. With Sunsilk, all day at work I kept slipping off to the bathroom to see if it was time to put it up. I did my hair at about 8 in the morning and it stayed down ALL DAY! Wow!!! A first for me! Here is what I used: I like to shower at night, so if I'm doing it curly I have to get it wet in the sink again and towel dry. Then I put Bed Head Ego Boost on my fried ends, (but I think I'll try the BTZ split mender when that runs out, the reviews on here say it does just as well for a lot less money) then I divided my hair into four sections and put about a small dollup of Sunsilk De Frizz in each one. Then I put one pump of Beyond the Zone Get N Creamed in each section. Then I put a small dollup of Beyond the Zone Noodle Head cream in each section. I know it sounds like a ton of product, but I really have that much hair! Then I diffused it for about 10 minutes to help the curls form a little better and so I don't go to work with wet hair! It's still very damp though. Throughout the day it stayed frizz free, poof free, with defined, soft, non-crunchy curls. I definitely recommend this if you have curls that are too big and frizzy. Never thought I would, but I think I've found a HG curly hair regimen!

I bought this, along with many other products over time, to calm my relatively thin yet frizzy hair. I did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised! I apply about a dime to nickel size to my damp hair (maybe even more than damp), and pull through to my ends. When my hair dries, it does so in gentle, sleek, soft waves - something that never happens when it dries with no product. Sometimes I skip this creme and let my hair dry naturally - and always regret it! It does not work so well for dry hair, I agree with the other posters. But on damp hair, it's wonderful!

For reference: I have thick, long, wavy/curly hair (goes down to about the middle of my back) that has a lot of layers.

Great product- smells great, doesn't leave my hair crunchy (as promised by Sunsilk). It was decent for frizz, not as good as I was hoping but it could be worse for sure. I agree with some previous posters, if you use too much it can weigh your hair down a bit and feel/look kinda greasy- but this can be said for virtually every single cream product on the market. They recommend on the bottle you can use a little during the day for touch-ups, but I only like to use it when my hair is damp so the product will absorb nicely. Even if I used a little bit on dry hair, I found that it was still noticeable.

This is a fantastic product which I'll keep using again and again. Normally you can find the shampoo with a full-size bottle of this curling cream attached to promote the product- I love their shampoos as well, so this is perfect for me to get more of this curling cream without spending any more money than I have to! I mean, if I need shampoo and they're going to give me the product virutally for free, why not?? It is already inexpensive to begin with, but hey, free things are always great :)

I have been lemming this product for around 5-8 months. My co-workers hair always smelled delicious and she finally told me this is what she used. Mmm, the scent is wonderful:D The reason why I didn't buy it was because I thought it was going to be a product that would end up in my shelf collecting dust. Now that I used it and LOVED it I will never use anything else. Sometimes when I buy products there are so "multi use" and in the end they don't work for anything they claim. DeFrizz is meant for one thing and its excellent at that.
My hair is a thick wavy mess. This product left it nice & soft with a great smell. Sometimes when I apply to much product it does weigh it down a bit too much for my liking, but I feel thats entirely my problem and not the products. This is an excellent product!!!

After reading about this product in either Allure or Glamour magazine (one of the cover stylists used it on the cover girls' hair), and the raves about its' de-frizzing power, I had to get it. I have long, baby fine, naturally wavy hair which breaks easily and is easily weighed down by certain styling products. I have to say I'm very impressed with this de-frizz cream.

Pros: Very pretty salon scent, easy to use squeeze bottle, the consistancy is light & nongreasy. It lasts all day and doesn't seem to weigh my hair down at all. It also doesn't turn hair hard, it stays nice and soft. It does control static fairly well.

Cons: It doesn't completely get rid of static (I've never used one that completely gets rid of it).

I will use again and again!

I agree with the other reviews- this is a great product. I have used this as a wash n' go product, as well as applying a bit, before rollersetting my hair. My hair comes out so silky and frizz free after a rollerset, using this. I am african american, transitioning from a relaxer to natural hair (8 months since last relaxer). My hair looks freshly relaxed when I use this product.

Actually a pretty good product that is really cheap. Tried one of their samples and it came with a coupon, so i got it for dirt cheap. Works just as well as dove or john frieda, which is much more expensive. Makes my hair softer, doesn't take away all the frizz, but I don't really think there's anything that can. Overall, is quite good considering its cheap and works about the same if not better than other more expensive products.

One of the only anti-frizz products I've used on my hair, which doesn't leave it disgustingly greasy. This stuff actually works. I use like a nickel sized amount on my palm, rub my palms together, and apply throughout the ends of my naturally wavy hair. There is a considerable difference if i dont use this product. I will continue to use this product. Love it.

I love this product! However, rather than using 1-2 dollops, I use a handful. That's because i have thick curly/wavy frizzzzzy hair, and 1-2 dollops just doesnt work. I use a bit of the garnier long & strong leave in treatment, and then i put a lot of the de-frizz creme in. I get beautiful bouncy soft shiny curls. Totally worth every penny.
