I have nordic, fine, almoust 'see-through-hair' (like small children have) and was excited to se that my hair was almoust bouncy and 'fuller' after using this shampoo and hairmask. The shampoo is best used occasionally though, it leaves residue if I use it more than a couple days in a row. I use it once in a while on special occasions to feel prettier. The mask, though, is marvellous! I use it as conditioner in the shower, my hair gets wonderful and leaves no bulid-up. Its just like magic! Can be used every day, but is screamingly ecpencive! Tips-search the internet! you can get 50-70% on some sites.
The shampoo? Just love the effect, but my hair gets sticky and clotted after a couple of days. Not so sure I'll buy it again.
Hairmask? Just bought myself the biggest jar they sell!

This is the best that I have so far found in voluminising shampoos - it doesnt actually give any volume as such, but it doesn't weigh my hair down (like a lot of non-volumising shampoos do), and it doesnt dry it out and make it feel like straw either (like most volumising shampoos do). I will keep trying to find something better, being the optimist that I am, but I can always fall back on this if my search doesn't work out.
To the less important things - smells nice, lathers nicely, functional packaging, lasts a while.

I really wanted to like this shampoo and conditioner. However, after using it for 2 days in a row, my scalp, neck and forehead were itching like crazy. I had also had this kind of reaction to Aveda products, which I wasn't expecting with the L'Oreal. I do have sensitive skin, but I've never had an issue with hair products before. Also, this seemed to dry my hair out.

Pros: smells nice.
Cons: Weighed down my fine hair and was very expensive.
Not worth it from my angle.

I find that most volumizing shampoos actually do the opposite for my fine hair - they tend to leave behind a residue that ends up making my hair flatter than usual. Not with this. It lathers well and my hair feels squeaky clean, not weighed down. And it does seem to be a bit fuller after I blow it in. Not a huge difference (for my hair, volume usually comes from styling products rather than shampoo) but definitely better than when I use a regular shampoo. My stylist also said that this is very gentle for color-treated hair, which is good considering the moolah I drop on baliage. I'll be sticking with this for a while.

I have fine hair and although I wouldn´t claim that this shampoo added a lot of volume, it did seem to give my hair some bounce. The shampoo latters well, is easy to distribute and smells nice and fresh. When I got some highlights done, I alternated between this shampoo and a repair shampoo, as I found my hair in need of a moisture injection once in a while.Overall a nice product.

This shampoo is really great for my fine, straight hair. It was recommended by the stylist who cut and colored my hair at the (upscale) salon. If I had seen the price first, I probably would have balked ($28). I wash my hair everyday, just lather once, and do not use a conditioner or any styling products. I just blow dry and use a large round brush for body and to bend the ends under. I didn't think that a shampoo with clay (kaolin) would lather so well and not dry my hair out, but it really works. The fragrance is fresh, not cloying, but doesn't linger to interfere with your perfume.

This is the best shampoo for my hair ever and i won't change it at all! i love love love it!
Update: they changed the formulation Of their volume shampoo and now call it volume expand. It is so so bad, it coms out like thick glue, doesn't clean my hair at all!! Wors worst shampoo. I HATE L'oreal for doing this. I used this shampoo with the L'oreal yellow absolut repair conditioner for 5 years and was never going to change. They changed the formka and I am still looking for something good! Damn you L'oreal!!

I bought this shampoo last year when In Style magazine named it "best shampoo" Hard to find, had to order on drugstore.com.
There is nothing special about it, not particularly volumizing. Disappointing!

I really like this shampoo. I love the smell (like green tea), and it is the only volumizing shampoo that doesn't dry my hair. My hair is wavy/curly and fine, but I have a lot of hair, hence needing something volumizing. My hairdresser recommended this shampoo, and that I pair it with the intense repair mask. This brand is SO hard to find that I sometimes switch to something else off and on... but always wind up coming back to this combination.

This shampoo makes my hair feel like its a lot of silicon left in it. And absolute no volume! A big dissapointment to that price....

This shampoo is way too thick, won't lather well and doesn't remove product build-up. The pump dispenser is nice and the smell is pleasant but I will never purchase this shampoo again. I don't even want to use up the bottle I bought - too bad it's the 500ml size!

I'm sure this is a good shampoo (and it smells great, kind of like verbena) but it's breaking out my scalp and hairline something tremendous since I started using it a week ago, and I know this is the culprit because I changed nothing else in my routine. I think I'll try to go back to it when the temperature sorts itself out a bit, but right now it's going in my cosmetics graveyard...

I'm fairly happy with this shampoo. My hair is mid-back-length, stick-straight, fine-textured and thick. This stuff isn't incredibly volumizing, but does add a certain amount of bounce to my usually lank locks. The smell is pleasant, kind of a green tea scent. It's about $14 for 8.45 oz, so definitely on the pricy side, but that seems to be a standard price for salon shampoos. Doesn't leave buildup in my hair. I'd repurchase, but I'm such a product whore that it will probably be a while before I come back to this shampoo again.
