Hey guys, so I'm not actually reviewing the Ocean Breeze shampoo, I'm going to be reviewing the Head and Shoulders Citrus Breeze dandruff shampoo. I'm posting my comments here because there isn't a seperate one for the Citrus shampoo. Anyways, I'll start off by telling my story..So I've had some scalp issues for around 8 months. Right after I got my hair colored my scalp started to act funny. I started noticing flakes and build up, but it was only a small amount so I tried using clarifying shampoo's. The clarifying shampoo's all made it worse so I went back to my regular routine. (Cost Cutters hydrating shampoo and Matrix Biolage strengthening conditioner) After using my regular products for a few months I noticed it getting worse.. Not horrible but enough to bother me. I asked my hair dresser what to do and she said it was dry scalp, so I should use conditioner on my scalp..Uhh yeah that made it a lot worse...I started using stronger clarifying shampoo's ( Paul Mitchell shampoo two and shampoo three) and they seemed to help a bit, but not much. Just recently I had a breakdown because my scalp was flaking SO SO SO bad. I was crying and begging my parents to help me out..(I kept the problem from them) We researched different scalp problems and I ended up having dandruff (And it really wasn't HORRIBLE..I was just super shocked that there was so much more than normal) Anyways, we took a few quizzes on the Head and Shoulders website and it led me to the Citrus Breeze shampoo. The directions online said to massage the shampoo onto your scalp like you normally would, then rinse out well, then use more of the shampoo and massage it a bit harder to really get all of the flakes and dead skin off, then let sit for 5 minutes before rinseing well. My mom and I went to WalMart the next day and bought it. We came home and she washed it for me, it hurt like hell because my scalp was so sensitive, I cried the whole time (I know..stupid right?) and after managed to calm myself down. My scalp looked just as bad and so I got even more upset. But a few hours later I checked my scalp and a lot of it had gone away. I was soooo happy so I decided to do the same thing again, but this time I washed it by myself in the shower. When I came out of the shower my hair had barely any flakes and my scalp looked a lot better. I recommend this to anyone who has oily dandruff and build up because it helped me A TON. I gave this product 4 lipsticks because the only problem is that it leaves my hair super dry..Other than that I loveeeee ittttt<3<3<3 and it smells good;) The price isn't bad (7$ for 23.7 FL OZ) but it could be cheaper.. The packaging is too bulky and is hard to hold, also the cap collects a lot of water, but other than all that I love it and recommend ittt!!!!!(: hope this helps you guys(:

This product was heaven in a bottle for me! it smelled great and i used this product until it ran out and got rid of dandruff in the first few uses. Also, i haven't used the product since a few months ago and i have had no dandruff(or drying or itching) since then! I recommend anyone with mild dandruff to use this product, you honestly cannot get any better!

My issue is flaky, scaly patches in a few areas, not all over. Still, flake city. T/Gel did nothing and really seemed to make it much worse. I was using Garnier's ant-dandruff shampoo and liked it but even here I was never flake free and after 3 or 4 days, the patches were back. I have not been able to get Garnier lacally so tried this H&S Ocean Breeze and LOVE it. I have dry hair so I don't shampoo every day, more like every few and so far, I am at 6 days (Had a cold and was lazy) and not one flaky patch has reappeared. I am both amazed and happy as I have fought this for ages.

The ocean breeze scent was nice. I was wanting to try this product after seeing the commercials. I wanted to give my hair a "healthy scalp" more than anything else.

I recently finished the shampoo and conditioner and it was okay. I did not repurchase cause it really wasn't special. I did not purchase to get rid of dandruff or anything in particular other than have a "healthy scalp." Now i use sun silk anti-flat which i love.

Pretty good product for treating my seborrheic dermatitis! Although I used quite a bit on my hair (I have a LOT of hair; and it's very thick, mind you) and let it sit on my hair for about 5 minutes, I had to use 2 applications of this product (first, in regular shampooing stage and then second, I used this on my scalp and then followed up with conditioner). Loved how this moisturized and left my hair pretty smooth upon washing. I may try using this once w/o a conditioner.

Only reason this didn't have a 5 star (I ADORE the scent) is because even though I used a bit of this shampoo in the shower today, there's still a LITTLE bit of dandruff build up. But I am EXTREMELY pleased with the results.

EDIT: Moved this shampoo up to HG quality. First, it works (though I have to use a lot on my head due to having shoulder-length thick hair); secondly, it smells DIVINE, and thirdly, I don't need conditioner with this! Granted I have always had pretty good hair in the first place, I've finally realized that THIS shampoo makes it seem as if I've deep conditioned my hair. My hair is so soft and smooth and it's going to be tough for any other shampoo to beat this! Only thing I dislike is that it's too easy to get wayy too much product out. It lathers pretty nicely as well.

EDIT (8/31/09): I've had to stop using this because it didn't completely treat my seborrheic dermatitis.

Its not organic, its not environmentally friendly, unless you consider a big size bottle of shampoo and only a little of it to wash your hair. What it is, is a zinc fortified formula for seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis, a mean little fighter, excellent, beats steroids anytime, however it does not produce immediate results. Give it couple of months...and mind your other allergens, such as peanuts, latex, dust, etc.

I use this product daily and I love it. My sister tried it and went right out to buy it, and she's a high-end shampoo girl. It is better than any expernsive shampoo I've tried.

By the way, I use the 'Dry Scalp" version of Head & Shoulder's.

I personally love the scent, but for some reason this makes my scalp stink really bad and get oilier faster. :/ I went back to a normal shampoo and haven't had that problem since.

won't be buying any head and shoulders prodcts again as it interferes with highlighted hair, with a result of it looking dull and lacking life. Yes it does get rid of dandruff, but in the future i will be looking for a dandruff shampoo which compliments highlighted hair.

Well, it's too early to tell, but upon first use, this seems to make my hair very soft and silky. I don't know that it has rid me of the extra flakes, I guess I have to use it longer to find that out. Smells pretty good and does a great job of cleasing the hair of extra flakes and sebum. Hope this clears up the flake factor soon! Will update to see how this fares over the long run.
