I seem to always come back to this. I have bi-racial hair and it tangles easily when I comb this conditioner though my hair is completly transformed after. Everyone is differnt and this works wonders for my hair good bye to tangles and frizz hello shiny silky great smelling hair. Once a month i do use a clarifying shampoo or rinse a little bit of vinegar through it becuase over time this does leave a buildup but for all that it does for my hair for me it is worth it. I do try different products and it usually leaves me unable to get a comb through my hair and then i rinse and put this on and comb it through and I think why did I try to leave you?? Someone said this is the same as reg pantene just colored blue..I hate pantene but I love this line..there are alot of silicones in this conditioner, which my hair loves. Someone also complained about it should be fragrance free well I love the fragrance in this and it leaves my hair feeling and smelling fresh. The cones do give me a few breakouts on my back..but this is one of my fav conditioners. it's becomming harder to find after the shelves got stocked with the new pantene line they are trying to push. I find this at sears still

This didn't work so well for me. It conditions, but doesn't really do enough to moisturize in the cold weather; I still get dull, flyaway hair, even if I use the shampoo and conditioner both. It's better in warmer weather. Also the packaging is difficult to use: once you get low on the tube, it's hard to squeeze the rest of the product out. I know I ended up throwing away at least one full serving. (My hair is longer right now.) Won't buy again. It's just not good enough.

I remember when Pantene first came out when I was young and back then I absolutely loved Pantene, however, they discontinued the line, reformulated it and I have disliked Pantene ever since, that is until now ........... currently my two favorite lines are WEN and Oribe's Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, however, I don't like the prices, especially considering that my daughter uses WEN as well, and so I wanted to find a drugstore brand to use as well so that my daughter and I don't go through the good stuff as quickly ....... nothing I tried was good enough for us, that is until I found the Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal line ......... I absolutely love this stuff ........ my hair is healthy looking, my color does not fade and I cannot find one fault. I will never give up my high end favorites because they are the best for my hair, but Pantene is the next best thing. The conditioner works very well with the shampoo, however, I find that I need a bit more, and I use a bit of the mask following the conditioner and both together are the right mix of conditioning for my hair.

i was surprised on how much i liked this. i bought it on a whim at target along with the shampoo and liked it more than half the budget breaking conditioners i've tried.

the negative thing is that it has caused build up over the past couple of months and hasn't been working as it originally did. however i do need a cut and a highlight so maybe thats adding to the problem.

i will repurchase but will make sure to alternate my products.

edit: finally went to my stylist to color my hair and he noticed the buildup right away. so sad!

Update: NOT impressed. This caused me to break out everywhere it touched, must be the wax/grease or whatever is in this stuff. It will take a while to clear up the wreck it made of my skin (and I rinse well, but this stuff is very heavy). My hair is not in better shape after using this for a while. It seems to coat the hair, not moisturize. Obnoxious perfumey scent.
$5 at Target, squeeze tube.
NOTE: If you want something in this price range, go to Sally Beauty and get the Ion Effective Care conditioner - much better than this stuff!

This conditioner works miracles! I've tried everything -- Kerastase, L'Oreal Feria (you can get it at beauty supply stores), Schwarzkopf, etc -- and none of them have been as effective as this in restoring my hair from its overprocessed, fried state! My ends are strong and smooth now instead of crispy and frayed. The scent is also very nice. I'd highly recommend this to people with colour treated hair!

wow, I'm impressed. super moisturizing, but doesn't at all wear hair down. and it's cured my static hair. I can't believe the quality considering the price. I've used Keratase, Bumble & Bumble, Pureology, Aveda and many many other top brands; and most are major FAILS compared to this. lovely fresh smell too. HG status pending!

EDIT: not HG status.
For some background, I have shoulder blade length color treated naturally straight hair which is fine, but thick. I rotate between this and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deeeep Moist. I don't use this as a treatment but an every wash type product.

PROS:
great quality
lots of moisturize without weighing down my hair
price
nice scent

CONS:
it does seem to leave a bit of build up if you don't rotate it with another product

EDIT: the build up just got to be too much- Biolage Balm is my new conditioner thang!

I can only find the Time Renewal Shampoo at Target for some reason, so not sure if it's getting discontinued. However this review is for the conditioner. It really does restore your hair. Not 2 years back but it makes a difference. I used to use it every time I showered with the shampoo and the mask few times a week. I suggest to use the mask as the conditioner instead along with the shampoo. It moisturizes just a tad better but it makes a difference. It's a good buy, you won't regret the purchase. Only complaint is that my hair is super long and I go through the tube after 4 uses literally. So it's expensive for me. Perfect for shorter hair.

Edit: I actually switched to the Time Renewal Mask for a regular conditioner. It conditions a tad more than this one so it's worth it to me. I have thick and very long, damaged hair. I recommend this conditioner for fine-normal hair and the mask for thicker hair. This line of Pantene is simply amazing!!!

I just love this stuff. I can't say anything bad about it. I have used hi end to low end items. An nothing works as good. I love the smell it is a nice soft smell it's not too much or over done. It have a great little hint of a fresh clean smell. My hair feels so great when I use it. I don't use it everyday. I do color my hair so the ladies that color there hair know how dry it can become. This is the secret to great looking and smelling hair is this stuff right here. My hair is so soft when I use this. It is soft for a few days after I use it. I don't use it everyday I have very thick Italian curly and frizzy hair. An is a pain to tame most of the time without this. With the Pantene I have no problems with soft curls.

Great drugstore conditioner! It instantly softened and detangled, and my hair felt & looked noticeably better afterward. I gave four stars cause I have used better conditioners like Pureology ReconstructRepair, and even John Freida Sheer Blonde. Due to that fact, I may not repurchase.

This condition is AMAZING! I have fine damaged hair with split ends and crazy frizz and nothing works as well as this on my hair, except maybe Kerastace (which costs like 5 times more)
Highly recommend -- it will make your hair shiny and much healthier!

So far this is my favorite conditioner. It does an awesome job at making my hair feel and appear much healthier than it actually is. It also smells good. I like the packaging and the availability. It's relatively affordable too.

I've used this for about 3 weeks now [about 2x a week] and it works pretty well, but is not a miracle product. I have relatively thin, dry hair that is prone to frizziness, and this restored some shine and moisture, and also made my hair feel a bit thicker. Overall it made my hair feel and look a bit healthier. However, it is a good deal for the price, so I probably would buy this again.

*One annoying thing about this is that it comes in a tub. Although I like the look of the packaging, it's annoying to try and scoop this stuff out in the shower. Not a big deal, but it's a little irritating.

This is OK but not great. I don't see any difference after using this awhile than I do with Pantene's regular moisture conditioner. It doesn't do anything dramatic. I much prefer Neutrogena's Hair Recovery Mask. This one makes hair softer and more moisturized. Probably would not buy again.

I really like this conditioner, I got the matching shampoo along with it. I don't know what the usual price is on these since I got them on clearance for $1 each. I'm not crazy about the packaging, squeeze tube with tiny hole, which probably doesn't let you use all the product without cutting the tube open or something, I'd prefer a clear bottle, but for $1 I can't complain. The actual formulation is really great. It's a really rich conditioner, and you don't need a lot of it (maybe that's why the package has a tiny hole for the product to come out?). Usually I am not much of a Pantene fan, but this stuff is great. It leaves my hair really shinny and very very soft. It feels very conditioned without being weighed down. Can't speak much on the actual renewal process, as I still have some spilt ends (of course I've only used this a few times so far). If this hasn't been discontinued I will repurchase.

I admit I am a hair product snob & am avidly devoted to Kerastase which is really pricey. I've been trying to stretch our dollars further, so I gave this product a try (ok, the salon was closed, and I was out, and therefore desperate.) I don't think you'll notice a difference after 1 or 2 uses, but maybe after the 3rd or 4th use. I have thick hair that I highlight and flat iron, and the product did bring moisture back substantially. I alternate it with my Kerastase products, and even better: I dilute the Pantene in a spray bottle (1 part conditioner to 3 parts water) and use it as a leave in conditioner daily. It's fabulous, protects my hair (some) with the daily flat ironing, acts like a straightening product, and really inexpensive. For the price, you can't beat it.

I keep a bottle of a deep conditioner in my shower for days where I'm just going to twist my hair up wet and not style. I grabbed this one day at CVS and use it 1-2x a week, more if I'm on vacation from work. I didn't really pay attention to it until I went for my pre-Christmas cut and color. My stylist actually refused to add color because he said my hair looked so good. It was shimmery, the color was holding better than usual and he didn't want to touch it. He asked if I was using anything different, and I told him about this stuff. We have a winner!! I'll be using this for a loooong time.
