Nice, gentle but effective body scrub. Pleasant smell, though didn't find that it firmed at all as claimed on the package.

It is nonetheless a gentle product, surprisingly with it's bamboo powders, all those tiny bids are spheres and not very abrasive. This combines with my mario badescu AHA shower gel does the regimen for freshing up and eliminating the dead skin cells.

This one, I particularly uses it on knee and albow area to make it more sooth and even toned, I'd say it's very nice to do what's expected. However it's quite gentle so would not do for a foot scrub. Body shop one does better job.

I received this as a product to test for the ELLE magazine a few years ago, and I have to say that it's a really good body scrub ! It's expensive, I agree, but it is so smooth for my sensitive skin. It gives me a soft, clear skin.

I got a generous sample of this scrub in a GWP a long time ago. I've used it every now and then and now I've finished the tube. It's a good scrub, leaves the skin feeling baby soft. It does what it says, it softens and smoothes. Though I wouldn't say that it firms, I don't believe a body scrub can do that. Moreover, I'm not the one who sees a body scrub as a must-have-item. Therefore, I would not purchase this in full size. Since it's a Clarin's product it's very expensive. I would never pay that much for a body scrub to be honest.

Lovely, mild scent, lovely texture and a good, gentle scrub that leaves my skin soft and gently exfoliated. Like almost all Clarins body care products, this is a delight and it's a product I will always want to have on hand! I actually like to use it on dry skin to get a more intense scrubbiness but even on damp skin, this still gives a nice effect.

Tried this as an alternative to my current fave body scrub - Soap & Glory The Scrub of Your Life (around £7 from Boots)

Really like the consistency (small scrubby bits) and the scent which is not as strong or lingering as S&G. Definitely agree with a previous review that it works best on lightly damp or dry skin.

Scrub left my skin really smooth (I have quite dry skin on my body) and this helped my lotion really be absorbed, even my scaly shins are smooth.

This is a Clarins product so it's not cheap but I would definitley repurchase.

For those who like to feel that they've removed the top layer of skin after scrubbing and want smooth arms but dont want to pay for a H/E- give Soap & Glory a try.

This is a great exfoliator, and I love having it in my shower -- it's so luxurious! It's gentle, it leaves my skin silky smooth and it rinses away without leaving a residue. It smells really good, too -- very fresh. It's expensive (I got it as a gift), but I would buy it again.

Got this as a gift otherwise it's way out of my budget! This is a luxurious, well-made scrub. It has a light perfume-y scent that doesn't linger, and it has a thick paste-like consistency. The scrubbing particles are very gentle and non-abrasive but they exfoliate well. No added moisture from this scrub; it rinses clean and isn't greasy at all. I also love the convenient, easy-to-squeeze flip-top tube. Good if you want a thorough yet gentle, mildly scented scrub that rinses clean without any residue. Would buy another if it weren't so expensive.

PROS:
Leaves skin beautifully smooth and well hydrated too

CONS:
Smells like a slightly off butter and egg mixture like when making a cake from scratch. Mine is freshly opened 2009 date manufactured one purchased directly from a Clarins counter before you ask.
The tiny exfoliating bits are difficult to completely remove you need to allow 5 minutes to finally rinse them all off
Finely textured enough to use on the face...but be careful to avoid eyes when rinsing off because if the slightest bit gets in your eyes it stings like billy-o
Very expensive

I'm glad I bought this one as a sample sise tube on ebay and not the full size. I think this scrub is not effektive, it is dry and the grains are too small - like a face exfoliator. The good things about this product is a pleasant smell and that it is not in a jar.

Age: 25-29   Skin: Very Oily, Fair, Cool   Hair: Brunette, Wavy, Medium   Eyes: Brown

The most gentle yet effective scrub I have tried. Very small granules that you can feel are working hard, yet do not cut the skin as is the case with scrubs containing ground up seeds, nuts, etc. A must for sensitive skin. The unoffensive, light fragrance smells vaguely of soap and will not bother those with allergies. Lightly foams. Thick paste, not drippy or messy. Leaves skin moisturized without feeling oily.

Used in conjunction with my Clarisonic Plus, it is a wonderful, relaxing way to exfoliate. I have found that this is most effective when the skin is not too wet, damp is best.

This is a beautiful scrub which smells great and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Makes your skin feel absolutely beautiful. I wouldn't bother buying anything else. Definitely HG material.

It's really a very nice body scrub. I like the fine beats too. I am very pleased how smooth it made my skin. The only thing I don't like about the product is the smell .. it smells a bit odd and not very pleasant to me ... and the price. For my personal taste there are cheaper scrubs which work fine for me too. So I probably won't buy it again.

I LOVE this product!!! I love the gentle micro-beads rather than harsh granules (such as apricot scrubs). I also enjoy the fact that the exfoliant lathers, and smells AMAZING!

I have to say I absolutely love this product, I find it makes my skin so soft and smooth like no other body exfoliator. The bamboo powder is very fine and coarse and really smooths the skin out. I use it on damp skin and find it works amazingly well, I did try it on dry skin but didn't think it spread on the skin very well. I like the packaging on this too as its very handy for using in the shower. It smells great too! It is quite expensive but you really are getting what you pay for, I always follow it with the Clarins Satin Smooth Body Lotion which I also just love.

Ok, I'm going to be the odd one out here. I didn't like this scrub. For me it just wasn't coarse enough to exfoliate well. It feels more like a creamy, facial exfoliant and requires alot of "massaging" due to the fine beads. My skin was not significantly softer afterwards either. I think Clarins is often alot of hype.

This is one of my favorite body scub.it's gentle and very effective, and will leave your skin baby soft. I love that is is a tube, and not a jar.The main ingredient being bamboo, I can only imagine the noghtmare it would have been in a jar! So bravo for the packaging- as clarins has made some serious packaging error in the past!
I alternate between different scrubs depending on my mood, and just to name a few, my bathroom has darphin, Givenchy, Orlane,Payot, Guinot, Juvena, Dior bikini, and svelte,,Ysl, Mor, One minute manicure sunrise,Murad,Bliss... these are the one I use in regular rotation, so I know scrubs ( as I probably have enough to last me 10 years if I don't buy any more!), and the clarins one is one of the best .I have the 200 ml tube, and the 75ml,and one in reserve, so if you haven't tried it, go for it. The texture is very unique, non oily, the grains are tiny but very effective, it's the bamboo, and you really don't need that much as you apply it on dry skin all over, and then add water, and you can massage everywhere., so if used onece a week, a 200 mltube will probably go for anything 3-5 months, which makes it worth the investment as I hear it's quite expensive.
I wouldn't know as I got my 3 bottles for $20, which to me seemed dirt cheap for Clarins. I use other Clarins products, and I know most of them are in the expensive bracket.
A very good scrub, and i'llalways have one in reserve as long as they keep making it.

I got this in a GWP, in a very generous 75 ml sample, and would readily buy it again. This is one of the nicest body scrubs I've used, and one of the few that gets rid of the goosepimply bits on my upper arms without also causing irritation, or breakouts, or rashes and swellings, or scratching my skin.

Looks like it'll last quite a while, but I would certainly buy a real live full-size bottle when this runs out. While I like DIY sugar scrub, I must admit that this is better...

Slightly fragranced, but nothing to have hairy fits about - quite pleasant and subtle; as usual with Clarins, no animal testing, and some silly nonsense on the packaging. The main scrubbing element would appear to be bits of bamboo.

I received this in a body care kit from Clarins. It is an effective, but gentle scrub. I like to use this as a hand treatment before going 'out'. It is expensive so rather a luxury body treatment and I have actually used this on my face with really good results. Lovely scent.

Im in love with this product definantely my HG body scrub (i have a hg in each area of skincare) I use it on dry skin before a shower working it in circular motions all over and concentrating on the usual suspects! the elbows knees and heels. Wow it feels great super refined and feels like its working to exfoliate not rip your skin off. It smells just beautiful it reminds me of Gucci envy me which is one of my fave perfumes so thats great and its a pretty peachy colour. As another reviewer said it really does feel silky sliding off the skin as you hop into the shower. Try it as it doesnt get any better than this. Its main ingrediant is bamboo powder and that alone sounds so exotic love it and wont be without it.
