This gave me very sheer color. It was next to impossible to build up the color. In the pan, its a gorgeous sparkly lavender. On the eyelids, it just a bunch of glitter with slightest touch of color. There was glitter all over my face when I was done. Not shimmer......very noticeable GLITTER. Lucky for me I still look young enough to get away with having glitter on my face. I wouldn't buy this again.

i got this on clearance (probably cuz its being discontinued) for just over $6canadian. i saw the ad with the girl wearing this shadow in the lavender unleashed and let me tell you, the color on her had a lot more pigment than what i got, but then again thats advertisement for us. using this dry, it just added shimmer, but applied wet, it did add some color but it wasnt even purple, it's more of a silver like some reviewers said.. will not buy again even if it wasnt being discontinued and i wouldnt recommend anyone to spend the retail value of this, which is around $12 to $16 canadian. i didnt find it suitable for my tan skin either.. maybe more of the reviewers that reviewed this product have lighter skin because this has a high percent rate for "buy again". wouldnt recommend for girls of color

I must be using a defective product because I seriously do not like this stuff. I was in Rite Aid the other day and on a whim purchased this. I HATE the container. It's way too big and bulky for the product. I don't even keep it in mymakeup bag cause it takes up too much space. When I went to use this I had an eyeshadow brush. None of the product would go on the brush. I ended up having to actually work to get it on there and scrape the product. It was like there was a film on the top of it. When I finally got that off I realized the real color under the film wasn't even sparkly. It was a lot darker. I'll still to buying my makeup at Sephora.

I've had this eyeshadow for a long time and absolutely love it! It's subtle but striking at the same time. You get a gorgeous amount of very fine sparkles per brush stroke, as well as a very subtle purple color to your eyelids. I have green eyes, so this product really complements them.
The only thing that I do not like about this is that the little plastic container it was in broke within two months! The top completely broke off the hinges despite the fact that I did not drop it.

This light lavender with silver sparkles really pops my dark brown eyes. Looks good with other shadows or alone. I can use it to highlight or over my whole lid.

Color: A shimmery icy pale lavender with a silvery sheen
Price: Normally retails for around $9
Packaging: Clear sturdy feeling clear plastic container with flip top lid..not as sturdy as it appears though, I've had lids break on these often.
Texture: Feels dry, almost gritty to the touch. Provides sheer pigment and shimmer when used dry. Used wet, the metallic tones and shimmer become much more evident.
Raves:
I ♥ the Diamond Lust shadows...and about a year since they were introduced I am well on my way to collecting them all haha. I love the way they look, both in the pan and on my eyes.
I got Lavender Unleashed for 50% off but I am more than willing to pay full price for these. They are lovely. Meijer normally sells them for about $9 which is pricey for a drugstore eyeshadow but well worth it when it comes to these.
Lavender Unleashed is a gorgeous icy pale lavender with a silvery sheen. This shade totally brightens my eyes and face in general.
Applied dry, these shadows are almost too sheer, but wet they are perfect and it really makes the shade and the shimmer in it come to life. And applied wet it is also quite long lasting.
These shadows have a strange dryish texture, but they are also very soft. You don't want to push too hard on it with your brush or it will start to flake and crumble almost too easily.
Also worth noting that these shadows are not a subtle type of shimmer. They aren't glittery, but they would be ridiculous to buy if you are not a shimmer fan.
Rants: For the shadow itself, nothing. I do wish the packaging was a little less bulky.

When I saw the LE collection at my store I was interested with Bedroom Eyes shadow liner and the Molten Metal e/s but decided to check the reviews and Revlon websites first. When I saw this clip (Diamond Lust) however I got VERY interested with Lavender Unleashed so I bought it.

It is so pretty just by itself, add another layer on lid just like the clip, and I line with Clinique Starry Plum cream shaper. This is surprisingly beyond my expectation, so I will be buying another shades!! Do check them out!

This limited edition is a light lavender shade with lots of sparkle. The particle size is bigger than a shimmer but much smaller than a glitter and works well applied dry or wet. I think the lasting power is better when applied wet and it also intensifies the depth of colour and the sparkle. I think this would be a gorgeous shadow on PPPs regardless of hair or eye colour. For reference, I’m blonde with blue eyes, MAC C2.

Really, really pretty! Like the other colors, it is sheer when going on dry, but beautiful and intense when wet. It is very shimmery, so if you don't like shimmery eyeshadow, stay away. But I adore it! Such a gorgeous lavander color for spring!
