I know a lot of people were concerned about this polish being sheer or making their nails look orange. While it is sheer, it comes off as a beautiful sheer peach on my nails after 3 coats. It has very small and VERY pretty glitter in it. It doesn't look much like the product in the bottle once it's on my nails. It didn't make my nails look orange at all, that must be a skin tone thing. Application was good even though the polish is quite thin. It looks even and not streaky at all. Of course since it has a sheer, glittery finish, you can see the nail line. Overall, VERY nice nude sparkle

So, so ugly. I thought this was something I was sure to love. It is gorgeous in the bottle...goldish pink and very sheer. However on my nails, it's awful. I don't have discolored, yellow nails at all. Unless I'm wearing this, of course. Cool Lots made my nails yellowish orange...in the worst possible way.

This just isn't the right color for me.

I tried one coat as a pedicure, but it made my toenails look discolored. After three coats, the golden sheen started showing up, but it really wasn't flattering on me. As sheer as this is, I thought it would rather harmless, but the yellowness of the golden sheen was a surprise.

I knew it was sheer, but I didn't know it was that sheer. This is the cutest apricot-pink, but 3 thick coats only tints my nails the slightest bit, and they look more yellowed and dirty than polished. And the gold shimmer doesn't show on me at all. I was going to use it up over pinks and nudes, but I never used it, and tossed it instead.

I originally got this in the 2007 preview pack. I have since purchased the full size because it is a very versatile color on me. I see it as a very sheer apricot/peach color, with tiny gold flecks (not chunky glitter). On me it does not show pink. I only use 1 coat, usually. I have used 2, and I think I like the sheerness of only 1 coat better. I have only used this on my toenails once, and will never again because it made them look yellowed and ugly, so it only goes on my hands. It gives a nice manicured look without all the work. Gotta love that.

On its own, the color is not terribly impressive, even with several coats, but I layered it over a summer red (OPI's Hey Vito, is my car red-y?) and it gave it the most beautiful golden shimmer.

A pinky-apricot color that emparts a very sheer cream shade with plenty of pink and gold shimmer. Use a few coats of this for a subtle, pretty look. I used this to top Essie's Chic Boutique and my hair stylist asked me where i got my beautiful manicue!
A simple, very wearable nail polish that i always reach for!

I don't get the negative reviews of this. Yes, it is a sheer color, but you can tell by twirling the bottle around in your hand that it's going to apply that way. It looks great as a manicure. Gives a hint more color than other sheers like Pink Glove Service. And I also like to layer it. I own Bike Ride which is a little too cool-toned for my skin. One layer of Cool-Lots warms it up nicely.

This color sucks!! After reading an editor's review in InStyle Magazine about how "just one coat of this polish looks like a fancy manicure" I had to run out and get it.

It appears to be a really pretty color in the bottle. It is a light apricot-pink with alot of gold shimmer.

Once on the nails, it is practically clear and also makes my nail tips look really yellow-stained and yucky. Kind of like how my nails look after I eat some greasy chicken wings and haven't yet washed my hands. I would imagine it would take another 3-4 coats to make something close to color show up. It probably would be nice as an overlay over another color, but that is not what I bought this for. I wanted something to make my nails look really pretty and presentable in just one coat.

Meh, just a waste of money IMHO.

i am so dissapointed in this color! cool lots looks ultra pretty in the bottle, a shimmery soft peachy, apricot gold color. however, it is MEGA sheer. even after three thick coats, my nails still looked basically clear--except with a slight gold shimmery top coat.
i ended up wiping my nails off and using OPI LPAD instead. :X
ladies, if you are expecting something opaque, cool lots isn't for you. the color is extremely subtle (almost clear) but i imagine it would be okay layered over other polishes.
