I really like this cream, it moisturizes my face, it absorbs quickly and easily and my makeup goes on smoothly over top. I use the intensive nourishing night cream as well. I have to say that after 1 month of using these 2 products my fine lines have greatly diminished and my skin looks better.

My skin is sensitive and if it is going to react to a new product, it usually does within hours - especially if it contains a fair amount of BHA or AHA. I was thrilled to have no reaction from Olay Age Defying Daily Renewal Cream. The outer black box has been given a sleeker, modern tweaking. The formula has been tweaked a little too, but so far my skin isn't noticing. The price is inexpensive (WalMart tends to have the best price for about $12-14CDN). For a cream it isn't heavy, which is good for oily skin like mine, and it absorbs quickly. As for shrinking large pores ... well, at 47 I'm not sure if anything can do that unless you are genetically blessed : ) I know everyone is a little bit squeamish about dipping their fingers into the pot, but if you tap it on the side, the cream slides up enough to scoop off the rim. I've been using this moisturizer for years and while I continue to check out other product lines in my quest for the perfect moisturizer that shrinks craterous pores, eliminates wrinkles, and, well, makes me look 20 years younger ; ) , I'll continue to repurchase this little white tub.

This stuff is inexpensive and is a very light daily moisturizer. I think I will start using this at night only as it doesn't contain an SPF. I won't repurchase this as I've only found the Age Defying Daily Renewal Protecting Cream in stores, which does contain SPF and has also received rave reviews. I will say that this moisturizer isn't as heavy as others I've used and doesn't seem to leave me oily or break me out. That is a huge bonus in my books. Update: Well I knew it was too good to be true. I didn't want to admit it but I started to get tiny little whiteheads from using this product :( Back to the drawing board.

They say "love" is a strong word. But it dosn;t do justice compared to this awesome moisturizer. I found this moisturizer reduced my pore size, redness and made my skin clear, hydrated and soft. I am under 18, and even though my skin is naturally wrinkle free, I have no dout that it would help clear and reduce more marture skin's wrinkles and fine lines. The only downside is that it is stored in a tub, and I'm not so into the fact of dipping my fingers in the formula that will eventually gather bacteria. However, this minor glitch dosn't stop me from my favourite moisturizer. Bottom like, this moisturizer is fabulous; if you want claear, even, hydrated and more youthful skin, this moisturizer is right for you. Its love at first buy!

So i started to get really serious about my skin care 7 months ago. My skin was sooo dry, cracked, flakey, cystic acne with acne scars all along my chin and around my mouth and a couple on both sides of my face. I had blackheads upon black heads and just dead skin building up. It was due to 3 months of non stop traveling... It was horrible I was 19 and looked 29....So I started using Olay products.
I started with olay complete night cream, olay regenerist serum, olay complete daily moisturizer spf 15, olay sensitive foaming face wash, olay complete face wash, and cetaphil cleanser. I then started using witch hazel toner day and night. My skin improved a lot but still had a long way to go. Since then I've used a lot of good pruducts, including clean & clear cleansers/scrubs, dermalogica moisturzing mask, Olay microdermabrasion & peel, and neutrogena has amazing cleansers and scrubs.
But Olay has the BEST creams. I used the active hyrdating cream which is so far my favorite because it REALLY moisturizes.
Also have used the Olay firming cream which I liked but the active hydrating cream is still #1 with the Olay complete cream in #2.
So I just recently started using Olay age defying daily renewal cream with BHC
I've never used a cream with beta hydroxy complex. Well not that I can remember
I love it
At first I wasn't sure because I still woke up with slightly dry skin but I think that's because I started using jojoba oil too with it at the same time.
My skin has improved so much with this cream and jojoba oil in just 5 days. So much more clear and young looking. My mom even said my skin had cleared up.
So my skin is slightly dry after cleansing in the morning ( I only cleanse once in the morning and at night I cleanse once and use a scrub to make sure I get all my mineral makeup off)
So I tried the Olay age defying renewal cream on and then put Olay spf 15 daily complete moisturizer on it and my makeup goes over it PERFECTLY and my skin is more moisturized and just looks way better
Overall i give this cream a 4 out of 5 because it doesnt completely moisturize.
It's definitely getting the job done with makeing my skin tone more even.

2 weeks of morning and night use but I am not noticing any results or changes in skin whatsoever. However, I love the smell and the thickness of the cream. It is soft and thick enough to be perfect as a winter moisturiser for me. I am very breakout prone but this is not breaking me out so I will repurchase until I find something else that will actually show a visible improvement in skin tone and pores etc.

I had really high hopes for this after seeing all the great reviews, but this broke my skin out so badly. I'm talking 6 deep cysts after the first week not to mention the pores all over my face are clogged.
It also aggravated post acne pigmentation and made it all a darker purple-red color.
In short, it was a disaster. I have used BHA products In the past and never had them block my pores, so it must be the Olay base cream. Ugh.

Thanks to a very nice MUAer who took the time to help me I found that BHA's are perfect for my sensitive skin! After some reading I found out about this cream and was thankful for the price and good reviews. Purse strings have been tight lately and so I thought I'd get a nice, and cheap, BHA cream for night time. Got a jar and applied this before bed. First reaction was some mild stinging but I didn't pay too much attention to that. What I did pay attention to was three hours later then seeing myself in the mirror! My face had red dots all over it and the area where my nose meets my cheeks was dark red! I know from experience that the redness around my nose is a sign for breakouts in that area and overall that the product I've used will not be beneficial to my skin. To wash this cream off completely I had to clean it three times as it left a waxy film on my skin that was a horrible pain to remove. Then to counteract the bumps and redness I had to apply a bunch of calming products which thankfully helped out a lot and my skin looks 95% back to normal. Also the scent in this is strong and is much like the pink Olay beauty fluid, or how it used to smell since the last time I used that was in the early 90's. Anyway I think it was the dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane as my skin doesn't get along with silicones. Also the box says oil free but one of the ingredients in this is C13-14 Isoparaffin which is a emollient gelling agent that is from mineral oils derived from petroleum. I'm not a science person so I don't know the whole facts but when I see mineral oil derived from petroleum then my oil flag goes up. Maybe someone can clear that up for me. Anyway this was a DISASTER of a product and I think I can honestly say that after 6 or so years I'm done with Olay. Again either their products give me terrible breakouts and/or they make me physically sick with flu like symptoms which are only remedied by washing the product off.

I have been on a quest to find the perfect moisterizer. I have very dry skin that breaks out very easily. I have been trying to switch to products that are oil free because I know that they make my acne worse. The problem is finding a cream that moisterizes well and is oil free. I was very superized when I started using this. I wash my face with an a oil free acne wash (right now I am using Acne Free oil free cleanser), put on Cerave, and then this. The combination of the three seems be working pretty good for me. My acne is controlled and so is the dryness. Also it leaves my skin very smooth and glowing.

I found out about this cream while looking at reviews for another product. The review mentioned how this cream was good for acne, so after finding the product on here and reading reviews that mentioned the same thing I decided to try it out. I was amazed at how well this cream worked at evening out my skin tone as well as reducing the acne I had on my face. I normally break out in tiny bumps around my forehead and cheeks and after a couple weeks of using this cream all of the bumps I had on my forehead are completely gone! The pimples on my cheeks also began to disappear and the ones remaining are starting to go away as well! I would have never used this product on my own being that I'm 21 and when I think of age defying, I think of wrinkles which I do not yet have. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone ( of any age) who suffers from uneven skin tone or light to mild acne. It also does a great job of moisturizing and is a great moisturizer to apply before applying foundation. :)

I do not like this product at all. It stings my face, specially around my nose area. It stings my eyes as well, even if Im not applying it so close to the eyes. If I forget to apply toner and serum before it, it would irritate my face and gives redness on my cheeks. I think its too harsh for me. I accidentally grabbed it at Walmart thinking It was my old Olay night cream that I love but in a different packaging, coz i was in a hurry that time. I regreted buying it.

I love this moisturizer! I just finished up on my first tub and need to go out and buy a second. It moisturizes without leaving your skin feeling sticky or looking shiny. I am prone to breakouts and my skin has stayed clear while using this product. I think its about $10, which isn't too high of a price and a little goes a long way. I bought my first tub in jan. and am just now about to buy a new one. Give it a try, my fav moisturizer yet!

I love this moisturizer! You can noticeably feel the difference immediately after applying this. It's great as a prep for your makeup or just to give your skin an added touch of moisture. It absorbs rather quickly and leaves a nice glow to the skin without looking artificial. It seems to come from within. When used regularly, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles may diminish. I love this product more than moisturizers that I paid $100 for! I highly recommend both this and the night creme :)

i bought this with the intensive night cream. i was originally more in love with the night cream, but it seemed like it was causing my skin to breakout, though i'm not entirely sure... i did stop using it and switched to the daily cream and my skin looks soooo much better and smooth. it seems to be purging out some clogged pores on my chin, but whats strangely cool is that the pimple life is no more than a day, 2 at the most, and I've only had a few. it provides good moisture without making the skin oily which is great for me because i have the classic combo skin. however, i do use it in conjunction with just a plain ol' curel lotion (just a tad if my skin is extra dry feeling) and a 2.5% benz. peroxide on days my skin doesn't want to play fair. i put the olay cream on last and it gives a really perfect glowy (NOT oily) smooth appearance. I will repurchase, although this lasts awhile and was only 10$ at walmart.

I had to go to 4 stores to find this because they were sold out!!! This is a great cream. Soaks in right away...doesn't make my skin oiler and seems to clear pores. Definitely doesn't clog them! I love the light, moisturizing texture. Gentle yet effective hydration, exfoliatation, and acne treatment. A little goes a long way. I highly recommend giving this a try.

After a few month of trying RoC and no outstanding results, I decided to go back to Olay. I have used other night creams in the past by Olay, but never this one. It is light, sinks directly into the skin, and makes my skin look completely renewed in the morning. No breakouts yet. My skin looked better after 3 consecutive nights of applying this compared to 3 months of RoC. This may be my new night cream!
*Update - I have been using this for over a week now with outstanding results! My skin is glowing and no breakouts.....looks like I have my new nightcream! Bye Bye RoC.....

This moisturizer is terrible. On my skin, which gets very dry if I don't use the proper moisturizer (even though I get breakouts/oily throughout the day), this cream did NOT help the dryness at all. Using heaps of it still didn't work. When I use this, my skin gets dry and extremely flaky. Plus, it makes me break out if I use it for several days.
The fragrance is another bad thing about this moisturizer. It smells like baby wipes. It's not pleasant. The jar packaging allows bacteria to grow in it, so that's another strike against it. Not to mention, I can get department store moisturizers for the same price when you take into account how small the jar is. Overall, I would never buy this product again.

Olay Age Defying Daily Renewal Cream is definitely my current favorite moisturizer. I am very picky about what I put on my face, so I chose this cream after a bit a researching--turns out that the good reviews were spot on. This moisturizer is very lightweight and sinks into the skin immediately. It also contains a BHA, which seems to help mattify my face. I use this cream during the day and night. Love it!

I am so completely happy with this product. My skin was taking a beating from the cold weather and my usual Alpha Hydrox product was making matters worse. I have combination sensitive skin that isn't 22 anymore. I look younger and my skin adjusted within days to the new product. Really very happy and I will definitely purchase again.

I really like this product. I use it mainly to keep the flakies I get from using Tazorac away, and also to treat the blackheads and sebabceous filiments I have on my nose that the Tazorac doesn't get rid of. It does a great job.
I use this once a day in the morning under my susncreen. It's not very moisturizing on it's own, but my sunscreens are so I don't mind. My skin looks more even, my pores appear smaller and I breakout less.
the only drawbacks are the packaging (jar) and the smell. It's pretty fragranced and the smell tends to linger for a while. But those things won't keep me from using it.
