I'm a sucker for BB Palettes in general b/c they are just so convenient. There are no guessing games when I need a quick look... just open up whatever palette I'm in the mood for and apply the colors. The Bridal Palette for Spring 2007 is one that no girl should be without... bride-to-be or not! :o) The colors are all described below AND they are all very basic, but once again the convenience of the palette is what really reigns supreme here. The colors in this palette are all cool and spring-like in tone, but they compliment my warm, NC25/Warm Sand skintone perfectly! I'm very happy with this purchase.

Limited Edition Spring 2007 palette (careful, there are other Bridal Palette versions from previous years floating around out there and they are NOT the same as this one):

White Eye Shadow - basic matte white
Petal Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow - sheer petal pink with shimmer
Smoke Eye Shadow - deep brown-black
French Pink Blush - bright rosy pink
Posey Shimmer Lip Gloss - shimmery pale pink
Tulle Lip Color - matte, soft pink
Slopes Lip Color - flushed red

I love all of the eye and cheek colors in this palette, but I have one glaring problem with it-- the Peony gloss! I have a few BB shimmer glosses, but none of them have visible glitter in them, just glimmer. This is huge metallic flakes. WTF, Bobbi, on a girl's most special day she wants to have a disco ball on her mug? Everything else is gorgeous, but that one pan will not be used again.

I took off a lippie just because I don't like the white packaging. It's cheap looking, like Sonia Kashuk for Target. I know BB was trying to make the packaging "bridal" but why couldn't it be silver or pale gray? Anyway, the colors are great for a ppp like me. The shadows and lipsticks are perfect for summer, light and fresh. Adding an edit here, I rarely ever reach for this because the palette is so heavy I don't want to carry in my bag and the pink blush is actually a tad too bright for a ppp like me.

After having a horrible swap go wrong for this I finally tracked one down at the Macy's near me and decided to use the money the swapper sent me to purchase it. Big mistake. I could think of soooo many other items I could have spent the $50 on.
I'm a fan of BB but this palette was just not practical or useable for me at all!! I'm not a fan of matte shades at all so that was the first thing that bothered me. Theres is a White, Shimmery pale pink, and Charcoal black color eyeshadows, bright pink blush, pink/nude lipgloss, reddish lipstick, burgandy lipstick. The only items I ended up using were the lipgloss 2x and the pink shadow a handful of times since it was the only shimmery thing in the palette. The color payoff of the items was horrible and to me it just wasn't worth the money at all.

I'm sure I won't have a problem swapping it away though as everyone seems to want it.

This is my first BB palette but certainly won't be the last. I am a huge BB fan as I find that all products I've tried have been of very high quality and always with wearable colors. The Bridal Palette, a Spring 2007 LE product, comes with three e/s, three l/s, and a blush. The blush is really why I bought this- it's a gorgeous bright matte pink, with no discernible red, peach, coral, or brown tones. It's a gorgeous pop of color- makes me look very fresh faced- and does not clash with my yellow/beiege/NC30/Asian skintone. Smoke e/s is a dark grey-brown, perfect as a liner, or smudged around the eye with the NARS #15 brush for an instant smokey eye. The other shadows- Petal (shimmery pink) and White (matte white) are both excellent neutrals for my collection. Haven't tried the l/s yet so I can't comment on that- which is why this palette gets a 4. Great quality, cute packaging.

I tried and hated the Violet palette so I was hesitant to try this...but it was so pretty and seemed so wearable that I thought, 'why not?' and I'm so glad I did! It's so pretty and basic - the white e/s is sheer enough for a wash on my MMM skintone (NC30-37) and the warm pinh shimmer e/s is gorgeous...very pretty and easier to wear than most pinks. The deepest color is great as liner and is soooo pigmented. The blush is a basic, pretty pink blush w/ tons of pigmentation but is great for that 'pop' of color that you look for in a pink blush. The lippies, when combined, make a very flattering mauve color that is a great no brainer. I won't be wearing this for my wedding but it's great for work!

This was my first BB Palette. I love the white case, and large mirror. But, I would suggest to BB that the blush size be smaller and she increase the size of the eyeshadows and lip products. The white e/s is nice, nothing special. It is very sheer. The petal shimmer e/s is very pretty and imparts a nice pinky/silver glow to the lids, but doesn't have great staying power. The smoke shadow is very nice, and i've used it for the outer 1/3 (V) and as a liner. The French Pink blush is very pigmented, and I have to use carefully but I do like it. The Tulle l/s is gorgeous. It gives warmth to my face, and shows up well on my pigmented lips, without looking garish. This is a great lipstick color for special events. I haven't tried the Slopes l/s yet and will report back. Overall, I do enjoy, but wouldn't repurchase. It's LE, so probably wouldn't have the opportunity to anyway!

This is cute but not that special. I said I would buy it again because I would buy the components that I like seperately. I preferred the Pink Palette.

overall a good product.i answered no on the question if i would buy this again b/c i don't know if i will or not.too soon to tell.just received it today, so far i like it.the white eyeshadow i like, the pink one i can't really tell if i have it on or not, doesn't show up on me very well, the smoke eyeshadow i absolutely love!my favorite so far.i use an eyeshadow liner and use this as a liner.it works great.the french pink blush is very pigmented so you have to be careful how much you put on, a swipe will be enough.the sheer lipgloss i like ok,tulle lipstick on its own looks like it was meant for someone older but used with a brownish lip liner looks ok, the slopes lipstick i like a lot,my favorite so far.will i buy this again?may need to edit later...edit 4/28/07 the only things that i use from the palatte are the white eyeshadow, brown eyeshadow, and the french pink blush.the glosses are drying and i'm not impressed.i'm beginning to think that bobbi brown is overrated.

eyes: Smoke Eye Shadow - deep brown-black

lips: Posey Shimmer Lip Gloss - shimmery sheer pale pink

lips: Tulle Lip Color - matte, soft medium dusty pink, not too bright

lips: Slopes Lip Color - warm red with strong rose undertones

LE Spring 2007.

Product - Great for everyday, classic, fresh look. Should work for most, and definitely works for me - AAB/NC25. The white e/s is a great browbone highlighter. I use the White or Petal as a base or wash. Smoke is great either wet or dry as a liner; the color is not too harsh or dark but rich enough to emphasize my dark lashes. I really love the French Pink blush, it's a lovely rosy pink, a nice pop of color without being too vivid, YKWIM? I especially like that this palette includes a sheer gloss to go with the lipcolors, great when I don't want an opaque matte lip. The shimmer in the lipgloss offers a nice option too for layering over the matte lipcolors. Tulle is a wonderful YLBB everyday shade. Slopes - which I hadn't tried previously b/c it looked too dark - is a wonderful, classic red shade which works well with my coloring and gives a little more emphasis to my lips, but is not too dark (that is, it's not for glam/nighttime).

Packaging - The packaging is sturdy, typical of BB, with a large mirror under the lid; no brushes included. This compact is white, instead of BB's typical black. I especially like that the blush pan is large so it's easy to get in a big brush without worrying about touching the lippies at the same time.

Overall - Not just for brides! This is my favorite BB face palette so far. Maybe a little pricey and unnecessary for me at $50, especially since I have individual items already that are very similar - but to have it all in one palette is great for travel or reducing the effort to coordinate colors.

Out of my 30 or so palettes, this has go to be the best I've ever bought, just because it's truly a full face in a single palette. I know almost all the shades are existing ones that are part of the permanent BB line, but since I don't own any of the eyeshadows or blush included in this, I knew I needed it ASAP.White eyeshadow is a matte white shade that goes on very sheer. It doesn't show up as white on my lids, it just evens out the redness I have. I use it all over, from lash line to browbone, just a little extra under the brow.Petal Shimmer Wash eyeshadow is also quite sheer, it's got some silver frost to it, shows up as barely pink and gives the lids a polished look.Smoke eyeshadow (My favorite eyeshadow in this palette) is quite pigmented and I use this as a liner. I use it dry with BB's liner brush (yellow/orange bristles) first a darker, thinner line close to the lashes, then smoke it out with small strokes of the brush to soften the line. This makes quite a difference to the look of my lashes.French Pink blush is a bright, very pigmented blush that really gives a pop of color to my face. I use my MAC 187 brush. Posey Shimmer gloss is a light pink gloss very little pigment, nothing too special on its own, shows up clear on my pigmented lips, but great to use over the lipsticks included. Tulle lipstick is the best find of all. I've been wanting to try this out for over a year, but haven't taken the plunge since you can't exchange/return BB items here and I was afraid of not liking it. Well you know what? I LOVE it! It's a bright rosy pink that is neutral to cool and raelly brightens up my face. Slopes lipstick is one of my favourites, I have it in 2 other palettes and it's a darker shade that's wearable for almost everyone. All and all, this palette is everything I wanted it to be and more... Definitely trumps the Pink Face palette from last Spring. I'm really happy that I tried lining with Smoke eyeshadow dry, it still lasts all day on me and really made my lashes look fuller.
