I LOVE this, as I do most elf products. In fact, today I realized just how many elf products I own (a TON). I am not sure if this has been reformulated or whatnot, but mine is super creamy and blends beautifully. The coverage is medium. Can use as a base if you sponge it on or brush it out. Use it "full strength" as a concealer etc. The color matches perfectly, it's 100% portable and if it were any cheaper it would be free! It lasts fine on me doing normal activities (working, shopping, etc) I stock up when ELF has a good sale, (on this and a few other products from them that I can't live without. Since the reviews for this are SO mixed, I'd say for a $1 buy one and try it. I don't have issues with it being 'dry' or hard to apply. In fact, I really love how easily it goes on. I'm 45 with basically normal skin and a few fine lines starting.

I love this little stick foundation: orangy smell, soft texture, nice useful packaging, medium coverage, yellow undertones (rosy beige shade).
I bought it to keep it in my purse for touch ups and as an undereye concealer.
The only downside is the price: being a super cheap brand all over the world, in my country it is sold 300% over its original price.

It's the best! However, it's important to know how to blend it properly otherwise you'll end up having blotchy, uneven skin tone.

I hate this! It's difficult to blend, slightly orange and highlights my flaws.

I've only been able to use this to conceal a bruise on my leg. I can't use it on my face because I think it's too thick, and it's also a very odd orangey color. I think it's a very unnatural color and can't imagine it matching anyone's skin, but I guess if you blend it enough and apply a poweder foundation on top, the color can be managed. It's just like trying to blend an oil pastel crayon on my face, so I can't use it anywhere on my face without it looking cakey. It's not horrible as an eyeshadow base, but I think it's even to thick for that, and it doesn't have a sticky enough consistency, so I would rather use a cream eyeshadow over it any day.

I have this in fair and light. I like the lightest color best. I really like this stick but i didnt at first bc i was applying to much and it was hard to blend and thick. Now when i use it, i dab a bit of moisturizer on my finger than i swirl on top of stick then apply in dabs under eye or on blemish. Then use the dab and roll method and it blends so easily. If i swirl to much, its to much. U only need the teenyist bit. I sometimes dab a concealer brush and apply and spread/blend. I use a brush 4 blemishes but my ring finger for under eye. It helps warm up the product and spread it/blend into skin. I find it cover well. I have really dark undereye circles and it conceals well. I also use it as a base/primer for shadows. I really like how it evens out my viens in my eye area and it helps my shadows stay awhile. ( I also use elfs shadow primers the $1 and $3 which are AMAZING) I like this stick. I found i love their $3 studio line undereye concealer and highlighter, wow its amazing to me. I have dry skin so i prefer a liquid concealer! But i do use this from time to time. It is a little stick but its a product that a little goes a long way so it will last a long time! Its def worth $1. I will prob repurchase when i ever run out. I enjoy it. I find it creamy and it does its job! And ive bought other affordable concealers that are lousy so its def better than those!

I'm not a big fan of ELF's Cover Stick. For my dry skin, it's far too thick and hard to blend, and always ends up looking like a caked-on nightmare. It's difficult just to get the product creamy enough to apply, as it's so solid. Also, I really dislike the smell of this product - fake, sugary, orangey scent. The few times I've attempted using this to conceal or even out my skin tone a little, I've had to start all my makeup over from scratch. The packaging is awful; you have to twist the tube in order for the product to come up, but this broke within a few days for me, meaning it's permanently stuck up and difficult to place the lid on top. For £1.50, I'd say try it out if you're really curious, but I definitely won't be repurchasing.

This is rubbish! It's one of the most disgusting products I ever used! It's thick, dry and doesn't blend. I can't put it on without it caking because the thickness of the product makes it apply in a nice thick, disgusting layer.
I have tried working with it in all possible ways. It didn't pick up on my foundation brush. I tried melting it with a lighter but it instantly solidifies.
Today I tried using it as a concealer. HA! This didn't even conceal some redness from a recently popped blackhead! It's sticky and it clings to any flakes of skin, fine lines, pores, EVERYTHING!
To top it off, the synthetic orange smell makes me nauseous, sick to my stomach! UGH! I regret spending a dime on it!
I'd use it as an eye base but I doubt it's going to help with the creasing since even UDPP has a hard time keeping up with my oily lids.

I love this product as an eye base, but I can see it being used as concealer as well. Package is fine, the product itself has a nice creamy consistency, it doesn't look cakey or dry when applied. I was very surprised when I tried it as an eye base, because my lids can look very dry and flake depending on what MU I put on them, I can't do dramatic eye looks with a lot of e/s on. This product worked on my lids very well, it neutralized their redness and provided a sticky base to the e/s, making them more vibrant. It also prevented creasing, which is a major issue for me, because I have to use a rich moisturizer on my lids.
On the other hand, I can't use it as a concealer because the lightest shade isn't light enough for me. A little under the eyes and on my cheeks to neutralize redness is fine, but I have to apply something else over it. The shade fair definitely has a strong yellow tone to it, so I can see this not working on cool toned people.
Oh, I don't like the smell of it, kind of orangey. Still, a great product for me.

Well, you get what you pay for. Its usable, but I wont buy it again...and will only use it in case of emergency. I'm pretty disappointed with all of my E.L.F products, other than the blushes...kind of wish I tried the studio items, but I wont try ordering from them again....bought a bunch of stuff for 15 bucks (and that was half price!) and wish I spent that 15 bucks on a new eyeliner from mac instead...lol.

I love this. I just bought a new one (now the shade is called apricot beige) and could not be happier. I've used some pricey concealers (currently using up Erase Paste) and nothing beats this. Sure, it's thick, but you can work with it. I have dreadful dark circles (looks like I've been punched) and this works so well to mask them. I do find that I have to hold my fingers over the area after application to melt it slightly with my body heat, and do a bit more blending but it's perfection. Also regularly use it around my nose, and on my chin with no problems. I will be buying this as long as they are making it. HG.

I bought this stick in Fair and Light. IMO, e.l.f. makes the best concealers. I should know because I am a concealer expert due to acne, acne scars, rosacea, allergies (red nose and broken blood vessels from blowing my nose) and hyperpigmentation. Also, I have two e.l.f. Studio concealers and they offer great coverage! This concealer is just as good as my stick concealer from PX.
Fair is a perfect fit for my eyes and under eye area ~ It's helps to brighten my dark circles. The Light stick works great around my nostrils to cover redness, and I use this with a concealer brush to cover all of my imperfections before I apply my mineral makeup.
I have somewhat oily skin, and I use a moisturizer in the morning and evening. Since I moisturize well, I haven't noticed any issues with dryness. The colors are a perfect match, and the price is a great value ~ I paid 50 cents each, so I cannot complain. I will try this product again, it seems to work for me...

I saw negative comments on this but I can't imagine this not working for someone...I have a horrid time trying to cover spots on my skin and this has been a LIFESAVER! Its thick (which i need) and doesn't make my dry skin flakey at all. The only thing I can say is that the older version had a longer staying power, the new ones dont seem to last as long (even with a power over it.)

This is a dead match for my skintone.
It's thick, which is what I like in a concealer.
However I did 'de-stick it' I guess you would say?
I cut it off and put it in a little jar. It was just easier that way, I didn't use it in stick form, I just used my concealer brush to scrape some off the top when it was still in the little cylinder. I use a concealer brush with it still and it covers up literally anything.
The smell is phenomenal, and at $1, you can't beat it! :)
I just ordered 18 of these because of the 50% off everything (code sorrypatty). That's how much I love it. I buy a bunch at a time because the ELF shipping is like 7 bucks so I don't see a point in ordering 5 or 6 things.

Makes my skin look DRY and CAKEY!
Hard to find your true color on the website!
It's just a plain out BAD PRODUCT
The only reason why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 is because it smells SOOO WONDERFUL! Sugar Orange? BEST SMELL EVER! :DD
It's such a same they put such a great fragrance in such a bad product!

Did not work for me. The lightest color matches my PPP skin perfectly. However, the product is so thick and dry that it makes my undereye circles look like lizard skin. It also collect in lines. I have tried it several different ways, well moisturized skin, applying a tiny amount, setting with powder, no powder etc, but it always looks dry and cakey.

I have this stick in spice, not fair, and it matches my skin perfectly. It does a really good job of covering up redness, and I usually just wear this with powder to go to class because I don't want to look like I wear a lot of make up to school, but I hate leaving the house without make up. I would buy it again

i bought this online yesterday and it arrived today. The first thing i noticed was the price, i had to do a double take! £1.50!!!!!! because it was so cheap i bought too so if i liked it and ran out i wouldnt have to waste more money on shipping and if i didnt like it well it was only £1.50.
first off, the colour is perfect. Whenever i get a foundation for my pale skin it is either too dark and orange or too light and pink. This is neither pink nor orange but it isnt ashy.
The product is easy to apply and blend and gives medium to full coverage quickly and easily. I bought the foundation brush and sponge wedges aswell and used these to apply it which worked fine.
The only downside is that when i got home and looked in the mirror my face was oily but this happens whatever makeup i wear :( so no big surprise there. I bought the elf blotting paper to help with this :)
ALSO, the smell isn't very strong and is sort of a sickly sweet smell, but tbh i dont really care if foundation smells or not as long as its not a bad smell, which this isn't.
another downside: the product is very small so i don't know how long it will last but because of the price it is worth it and i will probably buy it again knowing that im not wasting/spending a load of money and that the colour matches.

for a buck, it's worth it. i agree a lot with the previous poster, as well. it does work great covering small discolorations and redness around my nose. i use a *very* light hand, swirling my ring finger in the product to warm it, then applying it to the area. it has staying power, for sure especially when set with powder.
i sometimes use a concealer brush as well (in the above areas), but especially for the eye area. although IMO this is not it's strong suite. i just can't get a good blend with it on the eye area and it just ends up a tacky, cakey mess most of the time. (i've since gone to lightweight, watery concealers for my under eyes like the elf shade adjusting concealer and revlon's age defying concealer. i find they don't settle into fine lines as much as heavier products like this and the neutrogena set that's a dupe for the BB one.)
so yeah, i guess that's it. good product that has it's best uses (namely facial concealing) when used with a light hand. packaging is okay, though not fancy. it is really important to warm it prior to use.
