Be careful!

This toner said it is alcohol free and hyderate skin but it truly does dry up my skin after the frist time i used it.
My skin is normal to dry type and it is not allergic to any ingredients in vitamin e hyderating toner but after using it, my skin turns into extremely dry. in addition, this toner even darken my skin tone

One more thing that make i totally hate this toner is that: "benzyl alcohol"- one of its ingredients- it is one kind of alcohol and it does not moisturize at all

I love this toner! It removes any dirt and make up, and I feel that it's much more moisturizing than the one my beautician recommended. You might find it expensive at first, but a single bottle can last you a very long time - you only need a small amount to cover your face. Will definitely repurchase.. In fact I've stocked up on this for their Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale!

I was in the Body Shop store and I was just browsing around not intending to buy something big. I saw this and the description, "Alcohol-free". I usually hate toners, despite me never really used it that much before because I hated the way it used to sting my face (ouchies) especially when spots would start appearing on my face. But I decided to give this a try and I DARED myself to get the bigger bottle right away. So I bought this and tried it out right away. And I have never stopped using it and never regretted buying this product because it didn't sting me at all, even when I had spots, and it was also great for removing traces of make-up. My skin is quite dry especially during winter and this toner really does hydrate the skin! Never had experience of skin peeling off or anything like that! I really love using this and I would recommend it to anyone, although it is quite pricey for people who haven't got the money (especially if you're a student who is already broke enough from travel fares ugh) but it is definitely worth it :) PLUS, you don't need to use a lot of it after washing your face. The big bottle will probably last you for a couple of months...?

I never really understood the point of a toner but I got this one as part of a set. LOVE IT. Perfect for dry/normal/combination/sensitive skin. It moisturizes, removes any makeup residue, and immediately improves skin's appearance. It's the most calming product I've used. I'll definitely buy again.

This is one of the very few products that I'm gonna repurchase for sure.
I use this every day and night in my skin care routine, it brightens refreshes and hydrates your skin. What else do you want from a toner?
Its alcohol free which I love about it.
The way I use this it gives me the best result which is: I first cleanse my face completely. Then I apply this with not with cotton pad or anything just my fingers and it soak in. It works You should try it. And I'm gonna repurchase it for sure since the big bottle is gonna finish ;-)

I just got a full size bottle for myself today after finishing the small bottle (tester) I got. In the past month, I had a break out and I might be a little bit too much on Differin. So, my facial skin turned red and raw.

Every toner I got didn't help much for moisturing my raw skin. I found the tester of this in my fridge, so I gave it a shot. It soothed my upset skin well. I used it after washing my face in the evening. It didn't leave a sticky film on my face but still moistured and cleaned my face pretty well.

I paid for 450 THB which I considered it was OK. The bottle is a pink plastic bottle which I don't mind. I notice that my skin starts to dislike the products for oily skin. I am quite happy with this toner.

I've used better toners, I look for toners to soften my skin and allow it to better absorb moisturisers. This toner didn't do that to me but it was pretty good either way. Unfortunately my skin is quite dry lately but I can't attribute that to the toner. It does it job and I may repurchase in the future.

I have been using The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner for the past 8 months as part of my nightly pre-bed skin care routine. I have been using this product in conjunction with the Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash and the Cream Exfoliator.

It currently retails for $16.95 in Australian Body Shop stores.

I am very critical of products I use at night as I can't stand using products that make my face feel greasy or oily before bed. The Vitamin E Hydrating Toner helps cleanse my face and leaves is feeling soft and hydrated. It doesn't leave a sticky film residue feeling like some other toners I have used in the past, therefore it gets my big tick of approval. My skin is sensitive-dry with the occasional break out of cystic acne on my jaw line. IMO, the Vitamin E Hydrating toner does not contribute to this, as my breakouts are hormonal, but contributes to the clearness and softness of my skin.

I love this toner! I started using it last fall, and I have gone through several bottles already. This is a very hydrating toner, it's great for cold winters. I sometimes soak several cotton pads, and use it as face masks. It works great, doesn't sting like the VE sink in mask do sometimes. I especially love to use it as a mask after using TBS's tea tree oil face mask. I used to have acne prone skin, I used this combination (tea tree oil mask and VE toner mask) almost every day for about a month, my face got a lot better, and my face wasn't dry at all thanks to this toner!

Love this! I saw a youtube guru rave about this and purchased it immediately. Only 12 bucks but I got it on sale for 10 (3 for 30) deal. It leaves my skin so smooth and soft. I apply it at night and my skin is still hydrated and soft in the morning. Vitamin E is great for the skin especially for treating acne scars. Try it and see for yourself! Packaging could be prettier though

This is a product that I will buy over and over and over again. I'm already on my 5th bottle! One bottle lasts quite a while too. This is the best toner that I've ever used. Last year, at the age of 22, was when I've had the worst acne problem ever in my life. To this day I don't know what really caused it but I do know that thanks to THIS TONER my skin healed and most of my acne stayed away for good. It is so hydrating -- it never leaves my skin feeling tight or dry. It also takes off ALL the makeup that my makeup remover misses. There is a slight scent to it but it's so light that I don't mind it at all. This is the one and only product that I will ever stay loyal to.

Had started using TBS's seaweed mattifying face lotion. Loved it and tried the whole line, but it totally dried out my skin and made me break out. Sales gal suggested this toner and I have to say it is really hydrating. Don't particularly care for the scent and I will the cap was slightly different, but all in all it does what is it supposed to do. Hydrates, while removing traces of makeup and oil.

Even though I haven't used many toners, but I gotta say this is my fav so far.
Pros:
- leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth, feels very nice to touch my own skin after using
- nice scent, I'm very attracted to the light floral smell
- decent pricing
Cons:
- erm, not much to say here, except in general I wish the bottle could have been prettier or appealing. (which is applicable to at least 1/3 of the products offered by the body shop)
luv it, and I already bought again.

i bought this alongside the vitamin e cream cleanser, which are both £7 in british the body shop stores.

this toner is said to be alcohol-free toning liquid with a shot of antioxidant protection (suitable for all skin types). i love the fact that it contains antioxidant protection, because there are no downfalls to that whatsoever, so that's great. i love the fact that it's alcohol-free, because personally, i hate the thought of applying alcohol-based products to my face, and letting it sink into my pores. that's just not appealing to me.

okay, so this toner is said to be hydrating. i suffer from dry skin, and so that's what i want. i don't want a toner that will strip my skin and leave it tight. this toner does leave my skin feeling soft and fairly moisturised, so that's a thumbs up for me. i don't feel as though the cream cleanser removes excess make up, and as the two are best to be used together, you'll find that your excess make up will come off on the cotton pad that you apply this toner with. i'm always wary of that, just incase there's still excess make up lurking beneath the surfaces of my skin.

the toner smells lovely. it's really fresh and clean. just a very subtle smell, not of anything in particular.

a big downfall for me is the fact that it's so hard to pour out the correct amount. i'm always finding myself pouring out too much or too little, which then results into me pouring out too much, just because the precision of the lid isn't good at all. it'd be great if this was improved. if you're an expert on how much toner to use exactly, then go ahead and put your tricks into work, but if you're not sure, then just be careful! i've had a couple of spillages.

i'd buy this again. i want to try other toners out there, but because this is aimed to be hydrating, i feel as though that will bring me back to it.

I used a 60ml/2.0 oz sample of this off and on and it's an okay toner. I was attracted to the fact that it seems alcohol free, but it has a lot of rose fragrance and something -- maybe the caster oil or wheat germ oil -- always felt like it was leaving a film on my face. So, it is hydrating and gentle, but I'd rather not have that filmy feeling.
