I love putting on chapstick then just dabbing this on. I'm not big on the total lipstick look. I like more of the just hint of tint. So this is perfect for me. The color is right on the money. It is the perfect mauve pink. I would for sure recommend this.

On the pic on this site it looks very light pink but it isn't(unless a completely totally diff lipstick is photographed). There is NO way this is light pink but neither is it a mauve-I'd say its more of medium dusty rose color with pink tones. I am PPP with very dark hair and this color is perfect MLBB color that would be suitable for almost all coloring (unless you are dark skinned).
ITs only shade or two darker than my own lips and looks extremely natural. I would imagine if you have very pigmented lips it may not show but I can't imagine how it could possibly look bright pink and frosty as some reviewers claim?! It says on the cover that its a frost formula but in all honesty, you can't even see the pearl at all and it looks like their cream formula so these reviews are baffling to me. I am guessing that maybe their chemistry affected the lip color when they put it on(I know it happened to me before)
This lipstick is going into heavy rotation in my stash because it goes with everything and always appropriate

This color is just ok. It doesn't show up much on my lips, leaving only a pearly shimmer after several coats. It also isn't named well...it certainly isn't a mauve. Its more of a frosty pink. It isn't drying, but isn't moisturizing either. Overall, I am not impressed with this lipstick and would not repurchase.

how is this shade a blushing mauve? mauve is a pale, lavender lilac color and blushing would be like a rose. so a rosy mauve i was expecting. i dont mind shimmer but this was a frosty almost hot pink on my pigmented lips. i am asian/tan brunette so maybe this would look great on lighter complexions. returning...

Perfect for my; woodsy autumn colored skin--matches my lip color, but better. I need to go back and buy about 5 more so I can keep them everywhere. Love it!

This is a great MLBB shade on me, it is almost the exact color of my natural lips, just a tad pinker and shiny. I have cool undertones, it doesn't look grey or washed out on me like some other reviewers have experienced. I almost didn't pick it up because it is a pearl finish but am glad I did because it isn't too frosty and has a nice understated sheen finish.

Very pretty and flattering neutral lipstick for my fair complexion. Definitely has a more pink undertone then mauve considering the name of this shade. I like that it has a soft shimmery finish that isn't over the top.

First of all, I've come to the conclusion that whoever is in charge of naming Revlon's lipstick shades should be fired! lol. But seriously, I wouldn't call this a mauve shade at all. I'd call it a light pink MLBB with a pearly sheen. Very pretty, wearable shade because it's not frosty at all. This is my first time trying a lipstick from the "super lustrous" line, and I'm not a huge fan... I've come to the conclusion that I just don't like lipsticks with pearly finish. It reminds me of MAC Creme Sheen lipsticks to an extent. Overall a pretty good drugstore find, just not my cup of tea.

Wow, the name is total WTF. Usually Revlon is great at naming their colors but this wasnt what I thought of when I think of Blushing Mauve. However, it's a very nice medium warm pink. slightly brighter and lighter than natural on my NC35 complexion but still very wearable. This is described as "Perle" finish. I usually only do the creme finishes and stay away from perle since some of the colors can be frosty and look lighter than they should. Luckily, the perle finish is barely noticable on me. No scent as usual. Revlon makes the BEST drugstore lipsticks IMO.

I've been using this lipstick on and off. At first I wasn't a big fan of it. I put it on the other day and fell in love with it again! The colour can be simply described as "blushing mauve" - the name really says it all. Not too light, not too dark, a perfect everyday colour.

I love this lipstick, the consistency of it is almost perfect, it did not try my lips at all and was not sticky. The lasting powder is moderate, but i've delt with far worse. This color is a nice darker pink color, it goes well with my medium skin and a nice pink blush as well. Love it!

This lipstick has a creamy smooth consistency. It feels moisturizing and gives off a slight natural shine to my lips. The last is fine. Great lipstick texture.
Package: The best build that I've came across in drugstore brands, very sturdy.
Price: Revlon is the only drugstore brand that often has BOGO sale in about every few weeks. It costs about 4 dollars (USD) for one, which makes it a great buy.
Color: This shade is the EXACT shade of my natural lip color. It's under the Rose family with a soft pink and slight mauve (light purplish) undertone to it. Unfortunately, my lips are already pretty pigmented, so it doesn't change anything about the color of my lips. I think I need darker shades; so I exchanged it for another shade.

Ok, I got this as a BOGO and that is why I gave it a "2" for the price. I like the color of the lipstick itself and when you put it on (I have a medium skintone) it's more on the pink side so dull the pink a little, I put champagne on ice on top of it and it gives that natural look. My only issue with this is that no matter how much lip moisturizer I put on and letting it sit for a few minutes...the lip color still manages to settle into the fissures of my lips so may be a good product to use with this, aside from a lip moisturizer, is a lip primer (which I need to get one for myself if I want to continue using this product). Overall, color is great and so far it has not dried my lips.

i actually really like this product. it is very moisturizing and is a very pretty pink shade. unfortunately one time i forgot to twist the lipstick back into the tube, thus smushing the lipstick into the cover. i am very sad because it was so pretty. however i do still use it and i will probably buy it again because it is just such a nice shade! love it!

Revlon had a BOGO sale and I didn't know what I wanted for my "free" lipstick so I took a chance. What a find! I have warm toned skin, but this was so natural and pretty on me. My lips but better.

This is exactly what I was looking for, and what I hoped the Rose & Shine shade would be. While they look very similar swatched on my hand at the store, the Blushing mauve is more pigmented, and not as silvery. Like other Super Lustrous lipsticks, it's nice and moist, but is definitely not long-wearing and comes off very very easily. I love the moist feeling and the colour, I may actually re-purchase if/when I run out. The only negative is that the scent isn't particularly nice. I just can't really really love anything other than Mac lipsticks because of the scent issue.

This looked more pink than muave in the tube, but it's still too cool-toned for my skin. It looked like a very 'bright', unnatural pink color compared to my pale, warm skintone. This would definitely be best for cooler skintones, or for warmer skintones who like a pop of bright pink against their skin!
I wear all of my lipsticks on top of a thin layer of Blistex. With Blistex, this lipstick is fairly long lasting and is not too drying -- better quality than a lot of other d/s lipsticks I've tried!

Wow I can't believe what low ratings this got?! This looks like a beautiful natural pink on my lips, maybe cause I'm cool toned? I find that this color looks natural while really brightening up my face, I got it at CVS when they had their BOGO sale. I really like Revlon's super lustrous lipsticks, they feel good on and there is no scent/taste!

This is a pretty, mauve color in the tube, but I didn't particularly like it once I put it on. It seemed a lot more bright than in the tube, more pinkish. It might look better on someone with more cool-toned skin, but it didn't look very good on me. I did find that if you blot it down a bit, it can become a fairly tolerable shade. I'll probably continue to use it like this until I run out, then, I won't be repurchasing.

This is a gray looking pale pink on my lips. I felt I looked quite ill in this color. I'm guessing it looks better on someone with cool toned skin?
