When I first got this duo I hated it. Then I realized that they are doomed to failure if you try to use them as a duo. The colors do not work well together--the green is a cool color and the brown is a warm bronze. They are far more successful used individually. The colors are not complimentary and are too dark to use together on my skin and the result is not attractive. Perhaps it would work better on darker skin.
I cannot use the green on my lid as it does not go with my skin tone. I occasionally use it for accent/crease. It is such a wonderful different shade of green.
Both colors are highly pigmented and last all day. All of the Loreal HIP shadows that I have tried except Shady are very pigmented. They are so pigmented that they are a little hard to blend. They kind of stick to the lid exactly where you put the brush.
UPDATE: I am now obsessed with the brown in this duo so I upped this to 5 lippies. It is so awesome. Slight shimmer, coppery color. Very beautiful on warm medium skin tones. I started using it as a lid color and so long as I use a liner, it is beautiful. I still don't use the colors together.

Very highly pigmented. A little goes a long way. These colors are fantastic to bring out the gold flecks in your eyes, if you have them. The colors go on smooth and are easily blended, but use a light hand.

The colors in this duo are very pretty- olive green and dark bronze- and they match my eye color (I have flecks of both colors in my eyes)! It does have some shimmer.
The packaging for me was just OK. I didn't think that it was extremely attractive, and I hurt myself trying to figure out how to open it... That was actually probably mostly my fault...
This stuff goes on smoothly and stays. The color that it is in the package is almost the exact color on my skin (I'm fair).
I recommend this to everyone.

This is a really nice eyeshadow duo. The green side is a lovely khaki color. I do have to layer this color a couple of times to get the intensity I want. The brown side is my favorite-a gorgeous bronze color that doesn't look orange on my NC40 skintone. The pigmentation on the bronze shadow is much better than the khaki color but they both have great staying power.

This is quite possibly my favorite of all the HiP duos. I love the green, especially, it has so much color depth to it. It's mossy green, gold and khaki all at once. The shadows are very pigmented and easy to work with, and they last all day with a primer.
A really simple pretty eye I did with this: I put the green all over the lid extending up slightly onto the brow bone, then the brown in the outer V, blending up and out. The result was a beautiful smokey eye.
The packaging is a bit bulky. The extra compartment at the back with the tiny mirror and spongey that no one uses was completely unecessary. It's big enough you could stick a ring or something small in there, seriously. Thus I gave the packaging a 3.
HiP stuff is generally too expensive for my tastes, but luckily there's a HiP BOGOF @ Walgreen's this week, so I jumped on it. Honestly, I probably wouldn't buy these if they weren't on BOGO.

Very pigmented e/s and it lasts all day with a base. The colours are blendable and it is really smooth to apply. I like the green alot better than the brown colour in this duo case. The brown looks a bit dirty on my skin which I don't use it that often. Cute but small mirror at the bottom of the case.

I've had this one for a while. In this duo you get a green and brown basically. They both have great color pay off and both blend well. NC50/55

I already own Shady and this Duo interested me too. I bought it for the green side but have only worn the bronzey side. I like it on the lid with mascara, I don't even need liner. With a base first (L'Oreal Decrease) it's really long lasting to me. I'm sure I'll buy more Duos before I'm done ;)

I bought this for the green shade, but was disappointed because neither of the sides are that well pigmented, which is strange because most of the other HIP duos have great pigmentation.

The shadows are highly pigmented. I particularly like the green better than the brown. The green is a shimmery mossy green colour, very unique but I found the brown colour quite flat and a bit red for my taste. I never where these two together, works better on its own I think.

ROP/ continue for photo example....I love the HIP duos. The packaging is really cute, and even tho I don't like to use sponge applicators, you can store one underneath for on the go and touch ups. I wonder if I can find a brush small enough to fit?? The price is a little high for drugstore, so I get mine when the are bogo. The quality is really good, and they are very pigmented. They are creamy and not too crumbly. They crumble less if you apply them with a brush and pat/ pack the color on your eyes and build the color. I don't ever wear anything but pinks, mauves, and purples, and browns...so I was very intrigued by the green and brown combo. If you are tired of plain brown like I was, I highly recommend this! I love to place the green on my lid, put the brown in the crease, and for a more smokey eye I pair this with the Mischief duo, with the blue in the outer v and the gold/cream color as a highlight, it is gorgeous! If you love neutral brown or gold looks try out the green as a light liner under your eyes or on the lid or crease, especially if you have brown eyes, the green is a great toned down color that makes your eyes pop. Here is a light smokey eye I used these colors in

This is my second hip duo -- I definitely love DEVIOUS more than DYNAMIC. I agree with the reviewer before me -- the bronzey deep brown shade is my favorite as well; it's something I can wear during the day without looking too made-up. The coverage is buildable and easy to blend. I like it paired with the green shade; perfect smokey look for a night out. The packaging is so-so. I don't like how bulky it is; I think the back compartment that stores the mini sponge applicator (approx. 1 inch) is unnecessary.

My favourite colour in this duo is the brown. It's a nice deep sort of bronze colour. The colours are both nicely pigmented, as far as drugstore eyeshadow goes. This is probably my favourite of the two I own (showy, and this)

UPDATE!!!
OK i am now officially in love with this. What i do is use the golish colour all over lid. then Swoop some of the greeny one in the crease and ever so lightly on the outer "v". and more green on lower lash line...its AMAZING..if u blend too much it looks like mud...minimal blend green stands out BEAUTIFULLY!! LOVE
im SAD about this one. I have dark skin and the colours blended together on me are horrid. The green doesnt really look GREEN...i found a vid on youtube where the girl used the brown colour all over the lid and then took the green and lined the bottom of her eyes...tahts the only way i can wear it and it look half decent.
no wont repurch

I held this up to my light olive skin in the store and the colors seemed to be made for me. When I got home I swatched them on the back of my hand and they looked awesome together. They appeared well pigmented and shimmery and even more beautiful than they did in the pan. And for under $6! Then, I tried them on my eye. I don't know what happened. The green went sheer grey, the brown went muddy, and they both lost their shimmer. Someone mentioned they were difficult to control. I guess that's what I encountered. They blended together into an unrecognizable color that I would just call "dirty". I still gave this 4 stars though, because I have had this same problem with some beautiful MAC colors and I think it is just my odd skin tone. Like I said, on my hand they looked great and blended great, but just not on my eye. I am German/Italian, with light skin and a strange mixture of olive and cool undertones. Maybe my hand has more olive than my face. Anyways, the price and packaging are great (a little hidden mirror), and it seems the colors work for many, but I won't be re-purchasing this duo.

Beautiful, silky, and highly pigmented. I love the brown shade more than the olive..but they are both perfect. This is my favorite e/s from the HiP line. I've been trying to find it for awhile, and stumbled upon it at CVS while searching for Lumene products;) For around $6 (and BOGO frequently), this is the best d/s eyeshadow you can buy, imo. This is a true beautiful brown (no gold, red, or orange tones).

EDIT: I was initially unimpressed by the duo together, and still am, but I found that the brown side to be a go-to HG brown for me. It has just the right amount of shimmer and pigment to go with an "everyday" smokey eye. Just pair with some mascara and dark liner and you're good to go. Upping a lippie for this!

I think this would work better with people with lighter skin tones.
I have darker, tanned Filipino skin, and while I do love the brown side, the green is a bit dull and greyish. I can't really use both the colours together in one eye, because they end up looking too much alike, and it just ends up looking like a weird, dark mess. I just can't get the duo to work, well, as a duo.
Separately though, they're pretty good. The green is a bit sheer, and it looks too dark when applied wet.
This is good for a DS product, but isn't mid-blowing. It's SLIGHTLY chalky and the pigment in the pan just isn't really too visible once it gets on your skin.
I do like the packaging though, unlike the others. The bottom sponge-container thing is weird, but I think it looks cute.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product...well I'm only speaking for the green side. It makes my boring brown eyes look awesome. It's an olive shade with gold shimmer. I think many people would appreciate the copper shade, I'm dense when it comes to working with brown shades. I've already purchased a backup.

Devious has a dark sage green and a dark taupey brown. The brown is gorgeous, a great neutral crease color that I can do splendidly smoky (yet still work appropriate) eyes with. The sage green is not as green as it appears -- it comes out a little muddy, with grey rather than green undertones, and thus sort of blends into the brown more than I would like. It still makes for a very nice duo -- it's just that the combination of the shadows is much more neutral than their colors in the pan would suggest. The pigmentation and lasting power are decent, especially for a d/s shadow. This is my 3rd HIP duo, and I haven't been disappointed.

I got this duo at Target for $6 and change--full price there--and I feel this was definitely worth the money. Both sides of the duo are highly pigmented--it doesn't take many layers to get some impact. The green side was pigmented but flaked a little--I noticed this shade tended to fade a little after a few hours--over a base of Soft Ochre Paint Pot--maybe I'll have better luck with UDPP as a base instead? The brown side is a great medium matte brown that is neutral to warm. Though I like this duo with the 2 shades combined I predict I'll be using up the brown side first as it will make a wonderful basic crease shade. Overall, not the best performane I've ever seen out of an eyeshadow but I'm pretty impressed for it being a DS product. I've had much worse out of Lancome, NARS, and Dior before. One of the more "practical" offerings from the HIP line and a good find!
