i have this in #230. i like how it's smooth and has a lot of pigment. the color is nice, and i like that it's not shimmery but has shine. however, i can't stand the strong lipstick smell. i wouldn't buy this product again. there are cheaper l/s out there with the same quality that doesn't make me gag.

This is the only lipstick I have (I think) from Clarins. It's #212/Rosewood, a warm rose with a white center of moisturizer running through it. I think that's what the white dot is, anyway. It's a very good neutral color for me (NC35), smooth and creamy and opaque, and while it's not matte, it's not shiny, either. It has no smell at all, which is really weird because I've had it for years. I just got a bag out of storage and this was in it. I haven't used it five years. Also I love the gold case.

I have this lipstick in Sensation 640. I love the color and totally ADORE the lipstick. It's so smooth, creamy, and glides on so nicely. It also lasts a looong time. I tend to get complimented when I wear this :-) Of course, not all lipstick colors go with all complexions, but I'm sure the right shade of this lipstick can please anyone :-) This color goes great with my beige/brown South Asian skin. My only gripes are that it's pricey, and the packaging is a bit cheap (the cap broke without any real effort).

Excellent creme lipsticks with excellent color selection. Goes on very smoothly with a good texture; however I can say that about a lot of other lipsticks and they dont have this (to me) gaudy packaging. I've been using Clarins on and off for years hoping that they can do the repackaging right. They are always fiddling with their packaging but it all remains ugly to my eyes. I much prefer Guerlain or Givenchy for high end lipsticks.

I have a Le Rouge sheer lipstick in #40. This is a very classy colour on me. It can moisturise my lips for a long time. It won't dry or make my lips flaky after being removed. A bit expensive though, but worth the money as I don't wear this everyday, just in some occasions. For an everyday lip colour I prefer something sheer and glossy. Le Rouge colours are mostly creamy with strong pigments. Will buy one for my mum anyway.

I have this lipstick in Emotion 110, which is the perfect summer pink! The consistency and longevity are lovely and the sent is tame compared to other Clarins products (nice smell). Price is a bit high.

I was disappointed with this lipstick. Reasonable staying power but found it feathered and bled after a time. I tried 'Illusion 260' at first which was much to dark for me and looked as though I had been eating berries!(I'm LLL). As staying power was not bad I then tried 'Illusion 230'. The colour suited me better but when I looked in the mirror after a time I was horrified by the bleeding above my top lip! Oh well - I'll have to give up smoking. Would perhaps be ok for young non-smokers!

Great shades, lovely packaging and marvelous formula. Applies smoothly and stays put. Not too moisturising but just enough so lips aren't dry.

These are truly some of the best lipsticks out there. The gorgeous packaging holds a super-creamy, pigmented, non-drying and gorgeous formula which comes in a range of beautiful colors. And they last long, too! Truly a fantastic lipstick. Don't let these pass you by!

Unless you want a constant olfactory reminder of grandma, avoid this heavily perfumed lipstick. I know other people like it though, so maybe mine was perfumier (my own new spelling) than others.
