Play-full Plump looks like a pale pink gloss with fine glitter in the tube. On lips, it just comes off as a clear, colourless gloss. The coat of glossiness it gives makes my lips appear fuller - and the effect lasts for quite some time!
For someone like me, who prefer lip glosses that last and don't mind a little stickiness, this is perfect.

received this lip gloss as a free tester and have been very pleased with its overall effect. the gloss plumps up my lips pretty nicely and does give a certain 'angelina jolie' pout to it! as for it's durability, it's pretty good, having stayed on after several cups of coffee. the soft pink and slightly shimmery shade of 'playful pump' suited my natural lip colour and i could wear it on its own or after applying a coat of lipstick.

i would have given it 5 lippies if not for the fact that the applicator wore out even before i had finished using the gloss, hence exposing parts of the white plastic handle instead of the soft brush.

This is one of my favorite lip glosses! I initially got it as a GWP and fell in love with it so I had to get a full size gloss.

The colour is perfect, it makes my lips slightly paler just as I want them to be. The texture is good too, its think but not too sticky. Finely milled pearls give an optical illusion of fuller lips.

It makes my lips appear fuller and sexier, perfect for everyday look as well as smoky eye look for night.

I didn't feel any noticable plumping effect, but my lips did look amazing. I have shyed away from such plastic-looking glosses for a long time but this is really great if you are going to a party and want minimal touch-ups i.e. it is sticky ! ! People want long-lasting lipglosses . . . well let me tell you ladies no such thing exists unless it is super thick, therefore the longer it takes for you and your saliva to destroy it. Yes your hair sticks to it, but this is just part of being a lipgloss wearer . . . unless you want to re-apply ALL the time ! I have to say I get more plumping power from my burt's bees original stick lipbalm with all its minty goodness, I do love the natural colour though so do not be put off by the pop colour

Got a little tube of this in a GWP. It looked so cute, I was really pleased to get it and eager to try it. Definitely a disappointment. The pink colour looks so pretty in the tube, but on my lips there was absolutely no colour at all. I guess it just matched the natural colour of my lips(?). I hate sticky glosses, and this one is really sticky. Really really sticky. I read that this gloss is supposed to "plump" your lips but I didn't notice or feel a change whatsoever. Avoid this unless you like sticky glosses with minimal colour.

Although the texture is thick, it goes on sheer. It has a nice finish but I didn't experience any plumping effect on the lips though and felt no tinge or burning sensation to make me think otherwise. It is also pretty sticky, and although it's not a huge gripe with me, I know a lot of girls who hate this.

The finish is nice and natural, but I think I can get the same effect and colour with a lip balm like Lucas' Papaw for a much lower price.

I really like this line of plumping glosses. I, too, received this shade as a GWP and while it may simply have a placebo effect, I love the colour and the texture of this gloss. My lips do look fuller although I do not experience any tingling or the like (not like the burning effect of lip Venom). I have since bought 4 more of these glosses in different colours.

’ve enjoyed this gwp mini tube a lot! Its texture is incredibly smooth, nothing like my MAC Lustreglass which is quite a bit thicker and undeniably sticky. This smoothness however seems to be the culprit in the gloss wearing off rather quickly . I’ve also failed to see any plumping effect whatsoever. The colour I have is called Playful plump, a sheer light pink which I find looks wonderful layered over pretty much all of my l/s. If I had noticed even the slightest hint of plumping I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase a full sized tube, Heck, I would also probably repurchase if they named the gloss something more fitting, like “Sheer Shine Gloss” , anything but the somewhat misleading “Full”. So while I’ll enjoy this mini while it lasts, I won’t be repurchasing.

I reviewed the plump and shine gloss in the general category.
I got this colour as a GWP. This particular colour is very sheer. But it goes really well on top of lipsticks that need a little bit of pink to be perfect. Lipsticks that are too brown can be easily corrected.
I also find that I prefer wearing glosses over lipstick and not on their own because they look too "gloppy" without a colour base. With a lipstick underneath you only need a little bit of the gloss and that also prevents it from being too sticky and the colour lasts longer too.

I bought this on a whim and it is really a great gloss. First of all the color is a true pink in the tube but goes on relatively colorless on the lips (my lips are pretty pigmented though). The gloss is suppose to plump, I don't think it literally plumps. However, my lips do look fuller and more defined after using this gloss. I would describe the texture as thick and non sticky (which is a major plus!) On a final note, it lasts on the lips for a longer amount of time in comparison to most glosses, I would say around 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs.

I love this gloss! I got a GWP size in a swap and I adore it. It is thick but not in a tacky way. It lasts a long time and it does leave a nice hint of color on your lips. The only drawback is that it does not plump at all. If you're looking for a good lip plumper, I'd suggest Lip Injection (I look like a duck when I use it!) I love this gloss and would definitely buy the full size :)

ok so, the playful-plump is much better but I like this color as well, its a very nude color at least on my lips, excellent shine quality and slight plumping without the burning sensation. I love it!

This product goes on pretty sheer. Very, very slight burn for me. Makes my lips a little red. Doesn't really plump, but the gloss itself is pretty thick. So maybe that can give the illusion of plump lips? Lasts very long and when off, leaves my lips pretty soft.

Oh my goodness this is my absolute favorite gloss line from Clinique! Not only are the colors gorgeous, each and every one of them but the gloss itself is absolutely unbelievable! I have been using Clinique for many years and this gloss line is by far their best yet! I will use these forever hee hee! Honestly this is the best gloss! Staying power is awesome too and the shine is terrific also! Great product will defintely repurchase more colors!

Clinique's entry into the world of lip plumpers leaves me flat, but thankfully withour a bad taste in my mouth. This barely pink softly pearlescent gloss imparted high shine but none of the promised plumping effect. Thankfully it didn't have the atrocious clinique gloss scent/flavour, so I'll at least finish my sample. Oh, and Clinique, if you're listening, "full potential lips plump and shine" is like calling tires "weight bearing rotating orbs". Hire someone.
