Great moisturizer. Not greasy or over-moisturizing. It's very light and oil-free. Leaves your skin looking fresh without any shine. I have no idea what I'd do without this! Gotta go to Marshall's or TJ Maxx to search for more!!

I bought this at Marshells on discount, well it was still pretty pricey for a facial lotion. I tried it thinking it would leave my skin matte and make my pores look smaller, but instead it made my skin look like it had a light layer of shine and this was after I'd washed my face. I dont think I'll be wearing this under my make-up ever. I do however, use it at night before I go to bed or in the morning for a couple hours before I wash my face. It does do a good job at moisterizing my skin but did not do what it claimed minimizing pores.

My friend introduced me to JNY Pure Pores moisturizer when I visited her in AZ. My skin is used to more humid climate, so needless to say, my skin dried out as soon as I stepped off the plane. And I am usually super oily. After 3 days of vainly trying to re-moisturize my skin with my usual product, I thought it was pointless. I had dry flaky patches all over. That's when she pulled out her skincare arsenal and gave me a bottle of PP moisturizer. My skin immediately regained it's moisture and I was completely hooked. I am now on my 3rd bottle, which I alternate with Shiseido Pureness Mattifying moisturizer. I found my most recent bottle at TJ Maxx for 12 bucks!

This may be a premature review, but I am really happy with this stuff, even though I have only used it for the first time today. I bought it on sale at B&BW, and was skeptical, since I have never really found an oil control moisturizer that did what it said. All but one of the other oil control moisturizers I have ever used have made everything else I put on my face ball up, so that these products are worse than useless. The exception would be Mario Badescu oil control moisturizer, but I really don't feel like that controls oil at all. That is just a nice moisturizer that doesn't break me out. Now, the Joey moisturizer felt like a nice moisturizer--on the light side, but I felt like it was still very moisturizing--and it sunk into my skin beautifully. My ss and makeup went over this moisturizer perfectly, without balling up at all. That was about 12 hours ago, and it has been about 100 degrees out today. I wasn't outdoors all day long, but my skin is always greasy within a few hours of cleansing and applying makeup, and my skin is still matte. I went back to the sale and bought another bottle.

This product also has "oil blotting formula" in the name-so I'm hoping this is the same product. I found this at Ulta on clearance for $14.00.
Normal price is $28.00. This lotion goes on nice and light and it really did help keep my oily t-zone matte longer than when I don't use it.
You only need a few drops, so it will last me a long time. Glad I found this one!

I bought this based on the other two reviews. However I am thoroughly disappointed in it. This is one of the worst moisturizers I have ever used. Aside from that fact it’s like putting shoe polish on your face, it has the cheapest tacky smell to it, much like Lemon Pledge. Ugh!! I will NEVER buy anything from this company again.

Another plus for the break out prone - an oil free cream that really moisturizes well but dries to a matte finish. Have had no breakouts with this. NO spf, so I only use it at night. Doesn't interfear with Retin-A. Very light neutral citrus\herbal smell. Wish it didn't come in a pot, but still other than that it's great.
