Great mediumish coverage, can build up if more is needed. Feels very light and is so easy to apply due to gel formula so it glides on, no brush or sponges needed. LOVE this product!! People always ask what foundation I wear because it looks so natural and just works with my skin. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I bought this foundation at Ulta when it was on clearance since they will no longer carry the line. I'm so glad I didn't pay full price for it because it did not work for me at all! It oxidized on my skin after a couple of hours and it didn't work well with any of my makeup primers. It also kind of made me look orange by the end of the day. For some reason it made my face feel sticky and it always felt like my makeup was melting. I'm not sure if it works better on more mature skin or if it just doesn't work for my combinational skin type. Great ingredients, I just wish it didn't look horrible on me.

This is my first and only liquid foundation and I loved it from beginning to end. The coverage is fair-medium, and blending has never been easier for me. It mattifies my face enough so that the coverage is there, but it doesn't look caked on or overwhelming. I've used it for a year now and it hasn't break me out yet, but then again I have normal skin so my review may not apply to those with sensitive/dry/oily skin. My only complaint is the very sheer coverage. You need a concealer and powder to layer over this foundation as it does not cover blemishes/acne scars.

I wish I would love this foundation, but I really dont. I found the prefect matching color for my skin tone. But this foundation is very hard to blend. I tried my all kind of foundation brush and my fingers, nothing work. It gave me pretty nice coverage after applied. But it will melt down after 3 hours I applied this foundation on my face. Well I have very oily skin so that was the worest case for me. I end up returned it.

For the price i would expect the foundation to do miracles on my skin, no miracles here. The only reason why i still use this foundation from time to time is because i mix it with my moisturizer. On its own the foundation tends to go on streaky, is very hard to blend in and dries too quickly. I did notice that it looks quite nice if you mix it with your moisturizer, you get a dewy light to medium coverage. If you need full coverage, i say steer away from this foundation because you will have trouble applying it and it will get quite cakey fast. Because the foundation is gel based it has its pluses and minuses, if you have dry skin this foundation will not work, it just doesn't have enough moisture content to look nice and even. If you have oily skin, it might be a perfect match, although i do urge you to test before you buy it. Try it out at the makeup counter, apply the foundation on you lower jaw line and check out the color in different lighting, like daylight, evening & etc., make sure you find the perfect color match before you buy it. The foundation itself has a lot of awesome ingredients in it, i personally as a makeup artist do not think it is worth the money, you can find better product for much cheaper. I hope this helps you decide whether or not you want to give this product a chance.

I walked into Ulta looking for help with a mineral powder foundation when a Sue Devitt makeup artist convinced me into trying their product. She did my makeup and while she did an okay job, I immediately noticed that the products were priced way too high for the quality.
First things first, the foundation. From a distance, the foundation looked great. If you were standing a good 3 feet away from me, I'm sure I looked flawless. But from up close? Up close I could see the color deposit. I shouldnt be able to see the grain of the coloring on my skin. Because of this, it also made my pores SUPER noticeable. It dried very quickly and I noticed the makeup artist had to work the foundation a little too much for my liking. For the pricetag, I would expect a better product. In regards to their other makeup, I found the majority of their colors boring. Its obviously made and marketed to an older demographic but thats no reason to have boring colors!

What a disappointment, especially for this price. I was not looking for a full coverage foundation, but I was expecting that foundation would make my skin look better, otherwise why would I go shopping for one?? This foundation does absolutely nothing for my skin. It does not cover small imperfection, unevenness and redness. It does not make my skin look soft and luminous (something I expect from a light foundation). All I want is just skin that looks natural but better than my own. Why would i pay $38 to have my skin look exactly the same?
On the other hand, this foundation is not easy to blend, like others noted. Sometimes it shows on my skin where I have dry patches. I really really regret buying it.

This foundation was too expensive for its quality. It didn't blend well no matter how or with what I applied this foundation. I thought that it might help calm my sensitive skin but it didn't benefit my skin in any way. I felt when I put it on that it didn't cover anything, and it didn't even my skin tone out at all. Overall not worth the price I paid, and in my opinion not worth even $5.

I wanted to like this since the 70% water sounded good - but I should have known it was going to be a dud! First off - colour is horrible! I got it in Tanami which is what they recommend for fair skin and it was completely peach! Like the peach concearler you would buy to cover undereye circles! But despite of that I tried using it - the consistency was ok at first but then it dried to a very matte dry finish. And cause it was super dry it goobed up around my flakes that I didn't even know were there. If you are trying to find where you should be exfoliating use this foundation first to show you the flakes! Just horrible! WHy on earth would anyone buy this when for the same price (or less if you go to the drugstore) you could have a much better product! HORRIBLE! They need to reformulate this big time!

The look: I have this in "Summer Monsoon" & it never fails to create a natural dewy, glowing look. It covers everything quite well, though I need to use concealer under my eyes still. You can wear this and feel confident that your skin looks natural. It is suitable for day and night.
The feel: It feels soft, light & natural on my skin. I am a fan of light foundations as I dislike the feeling of my skin being clogged. This never clogs or causes breakouts & is perfect for those who like their natural skin to shine through. It is a very hydrating foundation.
Application: Applies easily with fingers and blends like a dream. I don't put powder on after as my skin is very dry and sensitive.
My skin: I have olive skin with some light pigmentation around the cheekbones.

The first time I tried this product the makeup artist at Ulta put it on my skin. It looked nice. I wasn't looking for full coverage, just nice decent natural coverage. I took it home and tried it for the next 5 days. Tried it with different application methods, fingers, sponge, brush. With primer, without and finished with powder always. The coverage was terrible. I could not recreate what the MU Artist had created.
It looked blotchy on me, the make up had sunk into the lines of my face, but left the top of the skin uncovered. It's suppose to be hydrating, but it made my dry skin look worse.
I normally will try makeup longer than 6 days, but there's no change no matter what method I tried. On my friend the foundation looks beautiful. But she purchased the primer and the finishing mist. With the foundation at $38, Primer at $40 and mist at $40, it's a little out of what I'd like to spend for makeup. She also has nicer skin than me. Maybe that combo works great with this foundation. For me not so good.
And before I placed my review, I noticed others said similar things. Next time I'll read the reviews before I invest in $80 worth of product. I purchased the eye primer too. waste of money. :(

I am allergic to the ingredient dimethicone, and this is the ONLY foundation I can find anymore that does not contain it. It works very well on my fair skin, leaving it very hydrated and smooth. Hate to spend so much money, but it is what it is.

I really like this foundation. It applies well and is a very good consistency. I like that it's a build-able coverage. In some spots I need more coverage and others I need a light coverage, and it still looks even. It covers acne scars and redness very well. The only downfall is that it is so expensive. Luckily, I've found that Ebay offers it for much less. By far my favorite thing is, you forget you have foundation on at all! To me it feels the exact same as bare skin. I'd definitely recommend it.

I really love how this foundation did not break me out. However, it is a terrible foundation and not worth $38.It dries FAST (the second you put it on your face) which results in having gunky buildup in various parts of your face as well as streaks of makeup all over. I tried applying it with my fingers, sponge, and my foundation brush and I got the same results everytime. After using my foundation brush it had chunks of dried makeup in it...gross! It also inhances any dry spots I have on my face(even after moisturizing), but after hours of wearing this foundation my skin wasnt oily like usual which is good I guess. I will not repurchase this foundation and I dont believe it is worthy enough to put up to swap. I will be returning this product to try LORAC's foundation.

I had this foundation in the lightest shade, and it was a good match for my skin tone. This is also the last liquid foundation I have used (now I'm into minerals) I was attracted to the idea of seaweed and 70% water content. But it gave very sheer coverage and applied kinda streaky. Since it dries a bit too fast, I could hardly manage to blend it properly. But it did feel light and it let my skin breath. It didn't clog or make me break out. This is far from an average cakey/sticky foundation, but I need a bit more coverage and mineral foundation works better for me that this one.

I bought this product about 3 years ago. When I got it I needed full coverage and also wanted something that wouldn't get ashy on my skin. It was recommended to me at Sephora. When I got home and applied it all over my face I was so mad... it gives a VERY sheer coverage! Yes it goes on very lightly but that's because it's so watery and has very little coverage. Three years later I am using this foundation a little more because I don't need very full coverage anymore. After I finish this bottle, however, I will not purchase another one. I don't recommend this product if you are looking for medium to full coverage. If you just need slight coverage then this may be good for you.

I've used only this product for the past 3 years. Before that I went through so many different brands and types of foundations. I need fragrance free, mica free, oil free products. Not many formulations fit these criteria. I found this foundation at Sephora (but they no longer carry it) and it fit all the requirements. It also matched my skin perfectly (great sandy desert), was hydrating and went on smoothly and flawlessly even without moisturizer. I used a makeup sponge to apply it to bare skin. The coverage is rather sheer, but it was all I needed in my early to mid 20's. Now I am 28 and unfortunately needing more coverage for the dark circles under my eyes. I love this stuff because it doesn't make me break out!!! A huge plus because just about every other foundation does.
I wish it were more portable. Putting this formula in a compact of some sort would be ideal, but obviously that is not possible. Anyway, now I've moved on to Sue Devitt's creme foundation for more coverage.

This is what i have been looking for. Ive been looking for a foundation that works with my skin with a color that matches and has light coverage. Ive started using this again recently and it works really well for me. I use this in summer monsoon, it blends in perfectly with my skin, i use my fingers then a foundation brush to blend. Then i use L'oreal bare natural mineral finish in translucent over. I tend to break out and it has not made me break out like most foundation does. I like a more natural look so this works perfectly for me. it lasts all day. I don't really have to touch it up. I like the pump you get out the amount you need . It lasts a while i have had it for over 5 months and i havent run out yet.I think this has actually helped my skin. I love it! Be warned,If you want more coverage than this isn't for you.

I bought the this foundation when I first got into using water-based products, mainly for skin issues I've had. Anyhow, I definitely do not think this was worth the $$ at all. I've bought better foundations at Wal-Mart! I did also get the loose powder with this, which I didn't see on the list to rate. I still have some of this but again, it's no better than the Cornsilk powder I prefer for 1/4 of the price!

Mediocre at most. Too watery for my taste, very sheer coverage, fades quickly. For the price, don't get it. And all that seaweed crap-it's bs.
