this body mist should be named bad romance cause it smells awful. it is too strong and i have no idea where people get the impression it smells like baby powder? it's the worst!

The name Blossoming Romance is so beautiful, the bottle is hypnotic, and the sexy models can really sell bottle of anything at VS. All the beauty end there. The fragrant is head ache induced, diabetic sweetness shock, fluffed with excess alchol . blistering red skin from chemical ladden mixture. Most VS body splash are simply very low quality ingredients to cause skin irritation and excessive chemical induced sweetness diabetic shock to the system. It doesn't smell like a healthy, fit, clean , althletic person. However, for those that enjoy excesive fats, heaviness and sweetness, this might be right for the person.

Years ago, my sister mistakingly bought this thinking it was another scent. (Turned out she thought it was Love Spell) Well she began to use it, and I just loved the scent. There isn't ANYTHING like this scent. I went to one of their Semi Annual Sales years ago looking for it and the lady told me they discontinued it, I was heartbroken. I have been looking for fragrances that were similar and I couldn't find anything. Recently I had gone back to the semi annual sale to get beauty products and perfumes and I just saw a bottle sitting on the counter and I got so excited! They had just put up the 75% off signs and I got each bottle for $3. I now own 3 mists and 2 lotions (I'm afraid this won't be offered at their next SAS). The scent is just amazing and I am going to use it everyday. If you like really really sweet scents, this is for you! I can still smell it on my clothing from days ago.

I randomly saw this scent in the back room because I work at Victoria's Secret and I'm not sure if this will be back for the semi annual sale (I hope!).
Anyway, I saw this in a lotion and I tested the lotion out without anyone knowing because I wanted to see what this smelled like. Turns out I ended up loving the scent and I kept using the lotion lol so I would recommend.

I got this in a swap and I was super excited to try it because I love all VS fragrances! But when I tested it out, It gave me a huge headache. The smell just was too heavy for me.
I thought it would be more like a sweet scent but It's actually very musky. It smells of disgusting floraly vanilla that is way too heavy and has a tinge of a grandma scent to it.

I was given this recently as a gift, and couldn't be happier. Well I could, if it was more easily available here in Australia.

A lovely easy to wear fragrance, that never fails to get a lovely reaction and positive compliments. I love it.

I don't see why this has such low ratings here. I love this scent! Sadly I think they discontinued it at VS. :/ I always get compliments from people (including guys) when I wear this perfume. It has a coconutty scent. It's somewhat strong though, so a spray or two will do.

This body splash is an absolute disgrace! Unless you are 15 and under, still occasionally wear your hair in pigtails, consider the Disney Channel a regular form of entertainment and your last real big life decision was figuring out which color braces to get, stay the hell away from this body splash. I bought this at a VS SAS, so I got it for a deal and it still wasn't worth the money I paid. It reeks of cheapness. It's a nausea inducing candy like concoction. Far too sweet by my standards. There is also a strongly detectable violet note here. I get the feeling that this scent wouldn't be terribly bad if the chemists that put this mess together had just toned everything down. All of the notes are at a an absurdly high peak of intensity, ultimately making this scent unbearable. I bought this when I had a cold, and could barely smell anything. The sales girl said this one was popular. When my nasal cavities finally cleared up, all I could think was "What in the world was I thinking?!" It smells like an explosion at a Jolly Rancher factory. The worst part was trying to figure out what to do with this huge bottle. Use it as a room freshener? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Then I used it a few times as a spritzer for my bras and panties drawers. I figured it would be okay to fragrance my unmentionables. Boy was I wrong! This stuff made getting dressed in the morning and opening those drawers a nightmare. The cheapness of the scent just smacks you in the face. It's far too sharp. After it just sitting around for ages, I've decided that my 13 year old niece would greatly appreciate this.

I don't know how to describe this, but it has a kind of "baked" smell or something lol... I can'T even tell if it's something I like or not... but what I know is that I'm not too crazy about this fragrance, and that I won't buy again!

I don't get the low ratings for this one! I think it's one of the better scents vicki's has made, and it has more staying power IMO. Sweet and floral. I have every piece in this collection x2, when I found out it was DC'd i bought them!! (of course they always stop making the good ones..turquoise paradise, sweet talk.. my desire..)

A little too sweet and cloying, the scent seeps into the nose and gets to your system, leaving you a little dizzy. It's just too strong for a floral scent. I love violets but this scent is not unlike candied violets, have too much and you've got a stomachache. I use the lotion only on the hands coz that's just about all i can take of the overwhelming scent, but it does smell nice, just too strong and overly sweet for my liking.

I'm really not the biggest fan of Victoria's Secret scents, they tend to take reasonably pretty notes and squash them together for a result that's muddy at best or, more often, baby prostitute at worst. That being said, I do think this one is kind of pretty. I agree the touch of violet adds sophistication, it lends almost a soft dustiness to the floral tone. On me the violet, raspberry, and vanilla are all very balanced which keeps any one of the notes from popping out (which I appreciate given Pink Sugar's tendency to scream bloody raspberry on me) but while the effect is nice, that's really all it is. No complexity (hence one star off) or sophistication. Which is great if you want a soft, sweet scent without a hint of pretension, and I do think this is a great and more vintagey feeling alternative to fruity-vanilla scents like Pink Sugar thanks to the violet. Definitely try it if you like this genre of gourmand scents.

I'm in the same situation as another reviewer said - I thought I liked this at first so I bought it, but the more I wore it I realized that the scent just makes me gag. It's overly sweet and in my opinion not a very sophisticated scent. I find the scent to be so overbearing and strong - and to make it even worse it has great staying power. The last time I wore it I could smell it all day and my boyfriend even commented on how he couldn't stand it.

I got this from my mom. It's a sweet scent, with a bit of florals...I think it smells a bit like flowers and cotton candy. It's nice, but not something I would wear everyday.

My opinion on this fragrance is that it's a slightly more sophisticated take on Pink Sugar. I have both and I must say I prefer the Pink Sugar I think. The floral note of violets makes this a touch different and a little more grown-up. I will say it's long lasting. When I layer the body lotion with the edt, it literally lasts all day. I have this one up for swap just because I have way to many perfumes and I'd rather keep my Pink Sugar than this one.

I walked in looking for my fav VS shampoo/conditioner and just as I walked by I smelled something sweet that just caught my attention. I said to the SA "mmmm...what is that? It smells yummy". So we walked over to the BR body spray and I instantly fell in like w/this fragrance. It's not overly sweet and the drydown is soft and feminine. I like that it's not syrupy sweet or too floral it's an even mix of the two. What I especially like is that on me it's a grown up version of sweetness but not so candy sweet or an overdose of very sweet overly bearing vanilla. Con: It hardly lasts :( by the time I turn around to get dressed it's already gone it may last longer layered? I say spray walk around and see how it reacts to your chemistry.

i like this scent. to me it smells like a combination of vanilla, raspberry, cotton candy, and strawberry, with a little cherry blossom or something mixed in. its a very sweet scent that would be rly cloying in the summer. Also, I only seem to be able to get away with wearing this on my hair, where it doesnt seem overly sweet or cloying (which is why i took a point off). but in the winter on your hair its nice, feminine, and sweet!!! amber romance and pure seduction are still my faves though.
EDIT: i really really cant stand this anymore it reminds me of those hello kitty lip gloss sets i had when i was like six. im stickin with amber romance, pure seduction and dream angels halo.

This is a nice scent for the summer and spring. It smells very floral and sweet. I think this could be a nice scent for daytime. It is not very heavy, but should be applied lightly. I think that it is definitely a romantic scent.

I really wanted to love this :( I am a serial perfume buyer,and I'm always searching for the perfect scent. In the store, I thought I loved this, as I'm usually a fan of sweet scents. However, the more I wear it, the more it makes me gag. It's soooo sweet. I wore it to class and my friend said I smelled like a Barbie doll! Definately not a sophisticated scent. I am much happier with Dream Angels Desire

holy sugar syrup fragrance! too sweet, too victoria's secret. my friend used this sometimes, and it was okay on her for some reason, but ick ick ick on me
