I don't know what it is about this toner that makes me love it so much, but i do. I've never understood their whole "deconstructed waters" thing that is one of the selling points of this toner but the benefit is supposed to be that it leaves your skin negatively charged to draw whatever you add next, into your skin. Okay, whatever, but i swear it feels like that! And it just has this nice clean crisp feeling about it without being, at least to me, drying. I no longer work for Estee Lauder so to buy the tonic will be quite pricey, and i am hardly rolling in money, but i will actually repurchase this unless i can find a less expensive toner i like as much, and so far i haven't found that.

A decent product. Though I don't feel it is necessary.

This toner smells nice but it really doesn't do much for me. I figured since the moisturizer works so well on my skin why not try the whole line. This stuff is so expensive and I really didn't find it satisfying at all.

Okay, I always use toner, so after starting with all things La Mer I had to give this a go! I have found it to be very gentle and it smells lovely. It soother redness from using my clarisonic and it absorbs very well. I don't really know if its better than my usual Estee Lauder toner but I def like it. The price is a bit steep, so eventhough I said I would re-purchase, I will have to use it up and make up my mind whether its any better than my previous toner. As I use my clarisonic I never have the cotton pad turning a makeup colour, so I only need to use it once, only a bit of the toner is needed. I will have to update to give my full opinion, I have been using it twice a day for almost a month now. I have found its not too harsh and doesn't sting or anything, so I am perfectly happy with it. The verdict is still out though!
EDIT: I have been using this for 4 months, I have loads left but I may have to give it away. Its too harsh for my very sensitive skin!

It smells nice, when I use it I got the fresh feeling, maybe that's just my feeling. I think it can help minimise the prone, but it is expensive as a toner

I am not a huge advocate of toners, however this one has never felt harsh or drying. I use it after the LM cleaning lotion and before the rest of my LM products. I think it does a great job of taking any remaining makeup or impurities off of my skin without upsetting or drying it. It prepares the skin to receive the rest of the products. It is a little pricey for toner, however I only need it at night and you don't use much, so it last for a long time. La Mer always has gifts going on or can give you samples when you make a purchase. This helps to soften the blow. I have been very happy with this entire line and will continue to use it.

I'm surprised at the low review score! This is the best toner I've ever used, and it's far better than the La Mer Oil Absorbing tonic, which is way too harsh. Since I started using this toner, and I've been using it a long while, my skin just doesn't feel clean without it. Uncap, place a cotton pad at the bottle opening, and one tip is all you need. I first pat over my whole face, then gently rub it in. The pad eventually comes away dry, and any excess cleanser residue or makeup is removed. Gentle enough for the eye area! Don't let the price discourage you, it lasts a long time!

This toner is far too dry for my skin. I have purchased a whole heap of Elemis products today after a disappointing 3 weeks of La Mer products. I have mentioned in my other La Mer reviews that I will continue to support the Cremes because I really want them to work for me, but this toner is a no no. The packaging is also rather cheap and not worth the dollar I paid for them.

This toner proved to be too drying for my skin. :( The only disappointing La Mer product, IMHO.

This is my stand by toner no matter what skin care line I'm using it always works. Keeps my skin hydrated and does not irritate me since I tend to be sensitive. I usually always have one on hand.

I have used many toners and find this to be just a bit better than most. I recently used a Dermalogica toner that I didn't think did anything so this is a huge improvement over that. I use this, then the radiant infusion, then finish with the cream or lotion and find them to be a great combination for me. the radiant infusion does work extremely well on my skin and is a great product to use before the cream or lotion. It seems like it prepares my skin to absorb the lotion or cream better.

I got it as a package deal with other la mer stuff. I definitely can't say I love this product like how I love my other la mer stuff. It's definitely not worth the money.
Pros:
* smells good
* good packaging
* pretty color
Cons:
* too drying ( I have drier skin in the winter )
* doesn't do much
* pricey

Nothing special. Like almost all La Mer products, I don't like the smell. It doesn't feel clean or even that great on my face. I gave it 2 lippies not one only because I don't absolutely hate it. Not worth trying, I wouldn't recommend.

This is just an ordinary toner to me, but since I am so anal about sticking to one skincare line I will continue with this. It is extremely gentle and has a light scent that I like. I can use it on my lips and over my eyes without any irritation which is good since that is all I use to get the last trace of eye makeup off and to help exfoliate my lips. Try it if you feel like splurging, or save your money for the cream!

This product doesn't seem like anything special to me. While it didn't harm my sensitive skin, it also didn't do anything a far less expensive toner could have done.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I work in cosmetics and have a chance to experience all kinds of things, this happens to not be carried at my store(no discount for me!) but to me this is the BEST toner I have ever used. I have very sensitive skin, and dry and it makes my skin feel balanced, soft, yes expensive, but to me it is worth it if it produces results!

This doesn't have the astringency that I'm looking for in a toner, so I wasn't expecting it to dry my skin out the way it did. It felt nice on initial application, but within seconds it felt like all the moisture was leeched from my skin, and in the mirror my complexion looked almost "papery". I'm willing to splurge on good skincare, but this wouldn't be worth purchasing ever again.

I am on my third bottle of the tonic and I love it (the blue one is awful though almost abrasive). This acts like a toner after cleansing but treats your skin to a little drink at the same time. I have not found a better toner/tonic from any line. I am a total fan.

This is a great toner at an outrageous price. It smells like "metallic cotton candy" and is extremely gentle yet effective in removing residual stuff after washing. If you're going to splurge on the La Mer line, why not pick this up as well? Aside from the Creme and Lotion formulations this is by far one of their better products. It does go quickly so dont think the 6.7 oz bottle is going to last a long time. Maybe two months if you're lucky. Also, beware La Mer's "Deconstructed Water" and realize that that is a marketing term--not a scientific term. Basically, it's meaning is defined by Estee Lauder Corporation. Excuse me, Max Huber laboratories. WHAT-EV-R. And "Deconstructed Water" is the main ingredient in this product. I guess it's part of the "miricle" or whatever you call what it takes to get someone to spend $65 on toner. A great strategy is to tell the sales rep that unless they hook you up with several deluxe samples of The Tonic you will take your business to (insert name of the high end dept store on the other side of the mall) so if you're in Saks say Neimans or vice versea. Get it?
