Sadly, I am changing my prior review of this. I had commented, & still believe that the pencil end is not enough product, for someone such as myself, in her late 50's with sparse brows that are so light that they can't be seen at all, without help. That said, the pencil is just too thick & a tad too dark for me. I do not look good with thick brows. For many, this would be a wonderful product, as you can see by prior reviews. Just not for me!

If you have white blonde brows like me, then this is a good product to try! Mine are almost non-existent. With a light hand, this pencil can make the brows look defined, yet natural. I don't really use the gel because I don't like the texture of it in my brows. Mine are sparse to begin with, so they don't move. You can find this pencil pretty cheap on Amazon too. Will def repurchase.

I purchased the Revlon brow fantasy in dark blonde after searching for a brow gel that would tint my very dark almost black eyebrows to match my new light brown hair with blonde highlights. I don't care much for the black eyebrow- blonde hair look obviously. Anyway, I had planned to buy the Mac brow set in girl boy, which is a blonde brow gel, but stumbled across the Revlon brow gel at my local Walmart. In comparison to the Mac brow set this was around 10 dollars cheaper, but has a lot less product. I got home and used the brow pencil to fill in my brows, so as you can imagine I had black brows with obvious light blonde pencil marks from the Revlon brow pencil. (That was not a good look). Then, I went on to apply the tinted brow gel. I really piled that gel on to make sure there was no black brow hairs showing and to my surprise I really liked the finish look! It lightened my eyebrows to a dark blonde- medium brown color and looked very natural. It stayed on all day no problems. My eyebrows were soft to the touch. The only con I could find was that the amount of product they give you is ridiculous. The brow pencil is less than 2 inches long and I can't see myself getting to many uses before I run out. Besides that, It is a good product.

Love this color. I have found myself repurchasig this product over and over. it is something I always come back to. I enjoy the staying power and the color its perfect for my light eyebrows. I do not use the step 2 gel at really, but it does hold my brows in place.

I purchased this product after seeing some very good YouTube reviews about it. I had been using another drugstore brand (Maybelline, I think) blonde eyebrow pencil and had always topped it with clear mascara. The first time I tried it, I freaked out at the color of the "dark" blonde. To me, it looked very, very reddish. (I apply my makeup in natural sunlight most days or a lighted make-up mirror if that is not possible.) So I removed the pencil part from my eyebrow, used my old trusty blonde pencil and went ahead and topped it with the tinted gel in the Revlon product. I liked the tinted gel very much--it doesn't dispense too much product on the spoolie and it blended right in without me having to work with it hardly at all.
A couple days later I decided to give the pencil part another shot and I sharpened it to get the freshest color possible. Again, I thought it looked more red than dark blonde, but I went ahead and used the tinted gel over it and went on with my day. Whenever I would glance in a mirror, I was happy to find that my brows did not come across as reddish. But it still kinda worries me when I first apply it because it just looks more red than dark blonde. Some days I use my other brand of blonde pencil and use the Revlon gel over it.
I probably will buy this product again, because I really do like the tinted brow gel portion of it. Whether I use the Revlon pencil end or my other brow pencil, I do feel that the tinted gel holds up much longer than clear mascara or brow gel.

For me, this is a HG brow product- A blonde that isn't too brassy or ashy. A pencil that isn't too creamy or crumbly. It fills in sparse spots and grooms/sets without being obviously "done".

Wow, finally a product that lines & sets! I have medium brown brows & I use the dark blonde shade which is perfect for me cuz I don't like my brows to show that I've filled them in. Most of the time, darker shades look obviously drawn on & the lighter shades are too light but I got super lucky with this one! I actually got it after watching Makeupbytiffanyd's youtube video on her favorites & dang she was right! =) My brows have never looked so good! =)

I really, really like this. I'm a redhead with invisible brows and lashes. I need something to enhance my brows without making me look like a hairy wolf man. I used to use Anastasia Strawburn powder and pencil, but found they looked too red, even though my hair is red. I like the color of this pencil. It gives just enough color and doesn't look fake. The gel is a very light brown color that doesn't do anything in the way of color for me, it just sets the brows. I like that the two products are together. I would recommend this to anyone wanting just to define the brows and give them a little color. I'll repurchase.

I always skipped defining my eyebrows out of sheer laziness. I only began defining them about a year ago after I heard someone say the brows are like a pretty picture frame for a pretty picture. That made a lot of sense to me. Since then I've played with powder and pencil liners, and this is my favorite. The color is perfect for my shade of blonde hair. The texture is great and the gel on the other end is perfect for coming unruly brows in place. I appreciate that it is cheap and easy to use. A light hand is all that is needed, don't press! Nice feathery strokes will help you define a polished and natural looking brow.

This is by far the BEST brow pencil in the world. I am so impressed with this product. The pencil goes on smooth and blends well and I love the gel that comes with it at the other end of the pencil that has the mascara brush to apply it. I have several highend brow pencils, gels, and brow e/s powder and this is my HG out of all of them. It matches my NC20-25 skin and highlighted blonde hair perfectly. It applies flawlessly giving my thin brows shape and definition and helps to keep them in place. What a great gem to find in a drugstore for such a fabulous low price. I would highly recommend this! Revlon Brow Fantasy, I wish I had discovered you sooner!

I love this! It's really hard to find a blond pencil that looks natural on me, but this matches almost perfectly. It's about a shade darker than my natural brows, which works for me, because it frames my face a little better. I love how easy this goes on for me, and it blends really well. I don't use the gel very often, because I don't need it, I also don't notice much of a difference when I put it on, i.e., it doesn't set my brows. But it does give a lighter tone to my pencilled brows, when makes it more natural. I go crazy when I get low on this, and the town I live in only carries the darker colors, but it's worth the fuel to drive to the next town over =)

I bought this product because Covergirl discontinued my favorite eyebrow pencil and I was desperate to find something else. I thought the color of the pencil looked exactly like my old "soft brown"... very very wrong. It goes on part brown, part pee yellow. You literally have a halo of yellow around your eyebrow. Maybe this suits someone out there, but definitely not me. Now to find a friend with pee yellow hair... :P :S

This is becoming one of my favorite brow pencil/gel I have tried. I am a brunette but the dark blonde shade works perfectly for my brows. I was using a eye brow pencil from Lancome before this and loved it but the cost was too outrageous in my opinion so I decided to give this a try. I like it just as well as the Lancome and it also includes the colored gel as well. The staying power is awesome and does not move till I remove it w/ a cleanser in the evening. Contains no frag as well!

The pencil color and texture is nice, but really needed to be blended in so it wouldn't show.
You run out of the setting gel way too fast.
The cover broke right away.

I don't like this product. It did not make my brows look sleek and smooth, it made them look fuzzy and gray. I much prefer using a cheapo eyebrow pencil and a dab of aloe vera gel smoothed out with a brow brush.

This gave me brow zits!
The plus: It does make my brows look great. It has good hold and adds just the right amount of darkness.
Minuses: This gave me zits in my eye brows. Lots of them.

Wow! This is the best brow product I have ever bought. It makes my brows look perfect. I thought this color would be too light for me, (I have medium brown hair and brows) but it is perfect. The gel isn't as impressive as the pencil for me, but it does the job and keeps my brows in place. The only problem is that the applicator for the gel isn't great, but I just blend it in with my fingers. Great find!

A pencil on one side, and a gel with a spoolie brush applicator in a slimline tube. The pencil color is naturally gorgeous, a taupe brown with no red. But it was too hard, it dragged and pulled my brow hairs out by the roots. So within 2 days I had patchy brows which took over a month to grow back. T
The gel side smells like PVA glue and my eyebrows felt tight and glued into place when dried. Then the skin under my eyebrows itched and felt sore and sensitive.
I'm going back to hairspray on an old mascara wand and matt brown powder!

I haven't found another product for my eyebrows that I ever liked as much as this one. I was using Maybelline Define-a-Brow, and that was OK, but I wasn't going to buy it again. So I figured I'd try this.
The color is a great match, and it glides on smoothly. The gel sets everything into place. I'm glad they made a duo like this because it's so crazy to spend more money on two separate items for your brows. I would definitely buy this again. I have the eyebrows I've always wanted to have with this product. Thank you Revlon!

What a great drugstore find!
My brows are pretty much invisible -- started out with light brows to begin with, and as I moved into my 30's and now 40's they've gotten so sparse. (Things your mama may not have told you -- as you age, your brows clear out of there.)
Regular eyebrow pencils look very drawn on on me indeed. Think Joan Crawford meets Groucho Marx. I'd found a winner in Smashbox's Browtech Duo, but not only is it expensive and a little time consuming to put on -- it's a pain in the butt to haul myself to Nordstrom's to find a Smashbox counter when I ran out.
And then Revlon came out with this little beauty. The pencil's more of a crayon, and glides on over the browbone, following your natural browbone shape. The backside, where a pencil would have an eraser, is like a mascara thingie you sweep over your natural brow hairs, darkening them up, filling them out, and drying firm.... "setting" the color and protecting your fill-in-the-bare-spots color you crayoned in (like you'd apply browtech color with a brush) from getting smudged away.
The whole process is super fast. Same theory as Smashbox Browtech Duo but with more basic tools, at a fraction of the price, and far easier to find when you need to find it in a hurry.
Only drugstore brow product that works for me. I prefer the Dark Blonde shade even though I'm a brunette -- a lot more forgiving for a non-makeup artist to just slap it on and look put together than the darker shades.
My only wishlist would be that these kinds of products would come with a built-in sharpener of some kind. Sort of a pain when the tip becomes dull (or you get to the wood of the pencil, even) and you don't have a sharpener handy.
