I like this conditioner but it is so expensive! My hair is just past my shoulders and of medium thickness and I use about 3-4 pumps. It is thick so I emulsify it in my hands then apply to my hair. I comb through and leave it in for a few mins then rinse. My hair feels smooth and soft and is super shiny. If I ever found this on sale I would stock up!

If I could give this no stars I would. It sucked the moisture out of my only slightly dry hair. It literally felt like a synthetic wig! It used to be fabulous years ago- seriously- but they've obviously changed it. Stay away! I'm returning it.

I'd actually give this about a 2.5. I was disappointed with this *very* expensive conditioner. I have very straight, very fine, highlighted hair that is prone to breakage. It's a bit past my shoulders. I bought this in hopes of having something "nutritious" to help get my hair in better condition. Let me start by saying that it is lame at detangling. I have a big comb I keep in the shower & comb my conditioner through. It does a very poor job at detangling and, as a result, I have to use a LARGE amount of this stuff to make my hair comb-able. Since I'm going to no doubt go through this stuff fast (it's only 5oz!), and it's very expensive ($28), I will never buy this again. It rinses well and smells okay. But it is not worth it AT ALL.

My initial review was that this is great stuff. Unfortunately because of the silicone content it builds up like crazy. Not a fit for me but maybe for you.

I have gone through numerous bottles of this conditioner. It takes just a very very small amount - I have fine straight hair, but lots of it. I use this maybe three times a week so the bottle lasts a long time. It doesn't weigh my hair down yet does enough to prevent static hair. It leaves my hair shiney and silky and I like the smell. I'm not fond of the bottle; I like the pump but would like a bottle that I can see just how much is left...
(Later: I'm not using this anymore. It doesn't de-tangle, de-electrify my hair well enough to justify the cost.)

My hair at the moment is cropped and layered (also straight in texture and color treated w/highlights). This conditioner works well to add in shine, but it's not super moisturizing though like I expected it to be. Strange greyish color, and smells exactly like the Cocoa bath/bodycare line they carry at Bath & Body Works. I'll use up what I have, but probably won't repurchase. The product doesn't wow me enough ;D I'd rather go back to Burt's Bees Grapefruit & Sugar Beet conditioner.

Not only is this extremely expensive, but it didn't do squat by way of detangling and left my hair feeling coated, frizzy, dry and dull. Pass this one by...

I normally like the Phyto products I have used but this wasn't all that great. Nothing special about it. I have used cheaper conditioners that have done better. It felt rather thin on my thick/dry/colored hair and it didn't do squat as far as detangling it. Left it rather dry as well. I'll pass on this in the future.

I had a sample packet of this that I got about three uses out of. First of all, this is a very average conditioner. It does not do anything special. It doesn't detangle in the shower whatsoever. I'm surprised by all the reviews that say it's heavy. I felt like I had to use a lot in order to do anything. It didn't smell very good. After my hair was dry, it was soft, but I have plenty of cheaper conditioners that do the same thing & perform even better. Also, I was surprised to see that this had a couple of silicones in it and a long list of non-natural ingredients. So much for being 'natural'. I would never purchase this. Waste of $.

I use and enjoy Phyto products - save for the price-tag.

I have dry-ish hair that is very fine and I have enjoyed PhytoSesame as a 3-5 times per week type of conditioner.

If I use it daily it is too heavy and weighs down the hair.

Also the metal can (I got mine from France - so I am not sure if the U.S. packaging is metal or plastic) could rust in the shower. (Eew.)

I would consider re-packaging this product.

I’m on my third bottle. I use this as my daily, in-shower conditioner. It’s remarkably thick, rich and it smells really nice. I usually only need one, maybe two pumps. You don’t need a lot. What I like the most is the way my hair “drinks” it. It soaks right in, but I know I don’t need to use more, because it rinses so clean and so soft. It almost seems like I’m not even rinsing it out. It’s not heavy or greasy, just what my curls need. HOT stuff!

Super-shine conditioner! Hair feels find of dry after rinsing it out, but once dried it's very nice and extremely shiney.

This is a really nice conditioner for dry hair. I like the cocoa butter scent and it lingers for a couple hours. I wish you'd get more for the price as I tend to use alot of conditioner.

Very moisturizing conditioner. It is very thick and has a nice scent. The packaging makes it impossible to get all the product out with the pump. I have resorted to scooping out conditioner with the pump, and am glad that I do because there is a ton of product left. This combined with Phyto 9 is an excellent combination!

I love this. It is very moisturing for my dry, damaged hair. I wouldn't use it everyday but every other day is good.

This is one thick, heavy conditioner. It claims to be a detangler but this is very moisturizing, just too much for my fine hair. This would be great for someone with thick dry hair!
