My general opinion of Vaseline hand and body moisturisers is a positive one. Their products are deeply nourishing (I have the most finicky skin. My top half is an oil slick and my bottom half resembles a desert!), easily accessible and affordable. My all-time favourite Vaseline product is of course their plain petroleum jelly - a beauty staple for many women the world over.

While this hydrating lotion is indeed hydrating, the cocoa butter fragrance, in my opinion, is 'plasticky' and quite frankly nauseating! I applied this liberally to my body after my daily shower and it stunk up my entire bedroom. I was left with a pounding headache afterward.
I did tempt fate the next day. I eventually decided that this lotion was going to my brother to use up.
I almost fainted when I strolled by his bedroom. Haha... I really need to rid my house of this lotion. It's unfortunate though. I have read that cocoa butter assists in evening out skintone - something I require major help with. Perhaps Palmer's will be a better bet.

I use this lotion for one purpose and one purpose only: to remove self tanner when I'm ready to scrub clean and start over. I used to like the smell, but now I find it cloying. I wouldn't want to be in a small, closed room covered in this stuff for too long. The packaging is awful. My pump broke very soon after purchasing.

****That said, I would totally buy again. Not sure if I will, as I am an ever-curious consumer and love raiding my drugstores for new products, but I actually enjoy this cocoa butter and I'm glad I have it.

I find it quite moisturizing on my painfully dry skin. I am very picky when it comes to moisturizers, because they often leave a film, are drying, or do both (shocking, but true.) Even though I hate the initial smell, it dissipates and leaves a pleasant scent that lingers without being offensive. After I apply, I try to get out in the open and move around a lot so I don't choke on the initial scent. (I am probably being over-dramatic; it's not really that bad, and I do like the dry down scent a lot.)

******MAIN PART OF REVIEW: *****The reason I would repurchase is because this product does a stellar job of removing traces of self tanner without drying my skin out. Yes, I have to unscrew the broken pump and "scooch" the lotion off the tube and apply, but it's worth it. After I exfoliate a bit in the shower with soap and a washcloth, I towel dry, apply this stuff, and the next morning, I am good to go. This lotion is dirt cheap and has lasted me forever. I will continue to buy it (or similar products) for whenever my skin needs a thorough, yet kind exfoliation and moisturizing.

This product does have a very nice scent, but in terms of hydration, it just really didn't do it for me :( It soaks in my skin far too quickly, and the next day my skin is super dry. Wouldn't buy it again but vaseline's petroleum jelly is a definite staple for me :)

Ok, not great. I used this up since it smelled decent and was not too heavy in the summer. I do not think it helped prevent major dryness tho, which is what I need most of the time. I prefer clinique body butter or real coconut oil.

Amazing. I use this on and off because I personally don't like moisturizing (such a hassle!), but with the harsh winters here I've started again after I shower.
Comes with a pump, it's cheap, smells good, works, what else do you need!
I usually buy it in a pack at costco, so it's even cheaper.

I love the smell and this stuff really works to keep my dry winter skin from being itchy. Never too heavy/greasy, absorbs really well. I love putting it on my legs after shaving for a supersmooth finish. Will repurchase.

I made mum buy this one day as her skin gets very dry, especially after showering, Well, she loved it. She told me how wonderful the scent is, how convenient the pump pack is, how these things made her want to use it all the time, and how effective it has been on her skin. I tried some of hers on my hands and the fragrance is just beautiful. Not too fake, not too sickly sweet. And you can feel the richness of this lotion, but it is quite light at the same time. It hydrates and absorbs well. I have a small bottle on my desk at work for my hands. I only need a little tiny bit, if I use too much my hands are greasy. I personally prefer this to Palmers. As soon as I use some of my other body lotions up, I will buy a big pump pack for my bathroom as well. It is inexpensive, a delight to use and delivers what it promises.

I really like this lotion. I bought a huge bottle of it and I use it every night before I go to bed and right when I get out of the shower. After a week I really noticed a huge improvement in my skin. I've been carrying another small bottle of this lotion in my purse with me and it works great. My whole body feels much more moisturized, and areas like my elbows, knees, and heels don't dry out nearly as quick as they used to. Wonderful!

My usual Suave Cocoa Butter & Shea wasn't moisturizing enough for me so I started looking for something new. Since I love the cocoa butter scent & saw the great reviews this had, I picked it up. Doesn't soak in super quickly but doesn't leave my skin feel tacky at all. It's the end of the day now & I don't have any dry or rough patches on me. If it continues to perform well, I will continue to buy

So I bougth this product about a year ago when I think it came into the market, forgive me if I am wrong. I saw it when i went to Wal-Mart and just had to buy it. The price is reasonable about 5.97 CAD but a little tip get it during the Anniversary sale at Wal-Mart it will be dirt cheap plus a huge bottle. Anyways I gave it a try and it was AMAZING!. The smell was just right not to overwhelming. It made my skin glow and moisterized. A perfect body and hand lotion. It is my staple product right now. I have one 500mL bottle in the room one 200mL in the washroom and then another tube in my purse the one with the petroleum jelly. Great product will buy again.

I thought this would be a good product, because I love the toning properties of cocoa butter, but hate the nasty, plastic chocolate smell that Palmers cocoa butter has.

This stuff smells amazing. Like coconut, suntan lotion. Not really chocolatey at all. At first when you put it on its very luxurious and hydrating, but within 15-20 minutes or less your skin is dryed out again.

This might be a good choice for the summer months when you need a lighter body moisturizer, but for now ill stick to my pricey body butters from TBS

I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer. I used to use baby oil because i never found anything that moisturized as well and didn't irritate my skin (like olay quench did).
not only does thins lotion smell delicious - light vanilla-y scent - but it really moisturizes your skin immediately and absorbs quickly. i used to have dry patches on my hands but it softened those on the first application!
would recommend this to everyone with dry skin!

I usually LOVE vaseline lotions - cheap, smell great, what's not to like?

But this one made me itch all over - I think it's the glycerin. The smell is great though, and I wish it had worked for me!

This has the same great "white Chocolate" light scent that the Extra Rich cream I love has. It was just not moisturizing enough for me and the texture is too thin. I will stick to the cream which is rich and creamy.

This product is okay. The scent is light, which is good for some. I tend to like heavier scents. The one great thing about this product is that it seems to reduce slightly the appearance of stretch marks around my hips and inner thighs. No miracle product, but nice. I only wouldn't buy it again because I like to try new things unless it's a HG, which this isn't.

this is great stuff! First of all, it smells delicious! It's a vanilla-y cocoa scent with maybe a hint of caramel. If you don't like sweet-smelling lotions, you might wanna sniff
before you buy. This also makes my skin feel so silky smooth! I have dry skin on my arms, and this really helps! On the down side, the formula tends to
leave a waxy feel. I especially notice it when I use it on my legs. But, don't let that stop you from trying it. :-) It really is a good lotion, and I
have tried oodles of 'em!
