I received this in my February Birchbox. And all I can say is, they should be ashamed for trying to foist this garbage on us! It was dry, gloppy and looked like it had been in that tube for years. If I could give it a zero I would. The only reason it has so many stars on the BB site is because when you go to write a review, it won't let you enter anything less than 3 stars. This stuff is not wearable at all, pure garbage!

I received a sample of this mascara in my Feb Birchbox. Horrible. Dry. Did nothing for my lashes. I thought I may have gotten a bad sample but after reading through the reviews here I don't think I did! I find it hard to believe this would be considered a high end brand?

Disclaimer: I got this as part of a groupon deal (2 for $24), so I might not purchase this again unless I find a similar deal. Now, I do not have much experience with high end mascaras. The best I've used are drugstore mascaras, so that is all I can compare to.
In comparison to drugstore mascaras, I found this to be pretty good.
Pros:
- not clumpy
- Does not make spidery eyelashes
- somehow curls my eyelashes on application (which is hard to do! therefore, it is pretty much the selling point of this mascara for me)
-relatively 'medium to high dramatic' effect.
Cons:
- reg price too $$$
good for: people who have a hard time holding a curl and want a somewhat dramatic effect.Selling point for me was it being able to curl and not clump. People who won't mind the price

Not a fan. Thankfully I got it cheap from Sephora (along with a mini tube of LipFusion XL Lip Treatment), but I still would not recommend or repurchase this at any price. The formula is so dry, I had to add a couple of drops of Visine to the tube, to even make it usable. I still have to apply 2-3 coats before this adds any volume or length at all to my lashes, but even then the effect is more on the ‘natural’ side. It does accentuate the curl of my (naturally-curly) lashes. I find the oversized brush really hard to work with since its hard to reach all my lashes and I always seem to make a mess all over my upper eyelid (in general, I’m not a fan oversized brushes, no matter what brand). Clumping & smudging are minimal, it doesn’t flake or irritate my eyes, and it removes easily, though the ‘cons’ still far outweigh the ‘pros’. With the exception of one or two products I’ve liked & have actually performed up to expectations, overall I find the FusionBeauty line to be overpriced & overhyped.

I don't really care for this mascara. I find it dry and flaky and the large brush is difficult to use. I have a hard time getting the product on my inside lower lashes because the brush is just so big. It doesn't do anything too special for my lashes, but at least it doesn't clump. I haven't found it hard to remove with my Mary Kay towelettes as some have. I don't hate this mascara, but for the $24, I'll take the Dior. Overall not terrible, but you can certainly do better with a much cheaper mascara and if you do want to spend the money, there are better options. I won't be getting this again.

I wouldn't buy this product again, simply because I felt that I only used it a few times, and it seemed to be completely empty/dried out within a few weeks, if that. The brush is huge, and I have naturally thick lashes already, so I was looking for a mascara with more lengthening qualities. If you are looking for a volumizing one, give this one a try. Personally though, I wouldn't recommend it no matter what your lash type because you probably won't get much use out of it if your tube is anything like mine. The brush is so big and the formula doesn't go on, so I literally have to use a lot of force to apply just to see any difference. Plus it's tough to reach those smaller lashes in the corners of your eyes, and when I used it on my bottom lashes I just ended up getting it underneath my eyes and it smudges everywhere. Not worth it.

I got a deluxe sample of this stuff. I can't really review it properly because of this. I found it difficult to apply due to the short want (although i assume the brush is the same brush used in the full-size mascaras) so - the brush itself is big and full, similar, imo, to bad gal lash.
the mascara gave decent length and ok fatness. but, i found it to be very drying. my lashes, when i touch them, are very hard and stiff. you cannot wait to apply your second coat - you need to do it immediately.
i normally use YSL Faux Cils or L'Oreal Voluminous and i like that it's a softer mascara and i can apply multiple coats.
this you can't really. so be sure to get the coverage you need in the first go around.
i will not purchase a full-size tube and i doubt i'll finish up the sample i have.

I cant believe this mascara has such a low reviews ... One coat actually gets my lashes a nice curl as well which is hard to find. Gives me pretty good length as well too. As far as volume goes I added a second coat only to the lash line and then I got the added volume I was looking for. It didn't flake or smudge on me. Will recommend to everyone to try.

I am also surprised to see the low reviews for this mascara. I have never written a review on here, but feel compelled since I LOVE this product. I also first tried after getting in a 500 pt beauty insiders gift pack at Sephora. I have long been a Dior Show girl and I have officially swapped to Fushion Beauty. It lengthens and separates, no clumping and not a problem to curl the lashes after application.

Wow, I am so glad that I got this as a sample from Sephora and did not pay for this out of pocket. Never having used Fusion products before, I didn't know what to expect. I was very disappointed. The mascara seemed very watery and it was diffiuclt to coat my lashes thoroughly. It provided no volume whatsoever and barely looked like I had anything on. Taking it off (even with waterproof make-up remover) proved difficult as well. My husband even commented that it looked like I had "racoon eyes" after I had washed my face twice. I would definitely not purchase this.

I just got this as part of a 500 point gift set from Sephora along with other Fusion items. I've never even heard of this brand but I enjoyed trying the various samples on. WOW. I'm shocked to see the low reviews here. This mascara worked WONDERS for my lashes. I normally use Diorshow and until now I hadn't found a mascara that even compared but it looks like I have now! It plumps my bla lashes up and is so flattering! I haven't experienced any clumping on this product either, which is a big deal for me of course. I dunno if I'll buy a full size because of the price but if the sample keeps doing what it's doing now, I might have to splurge!

I got this in a kit with all the best sellers from fusion.
At first i didnt see what the big deal was with this mascara, so i just threw it in my make up box. But i later pulled it out to try it again for a couple days and honestly, i changed my mind. I love this mascara and i LOVE the brush it grips every hair and no clumping at all!!!!!
Update: Im over it it wasnt that great over a few more uses.
next.

i got this in a fusion beauty kit called "look fusion: the essentials." for the price i paid for the kit ($25,) i feel like it wasn't the worst mascara i've ever used. if i payed retail and didn't find this at an outlet, i'd probably be a lot more irate about this product.
i haven't had any of the problems with bleeding and running like previous reviewers. the packaging is fantastic, like all fusion products. it does make lashes seem a little longer and thicker, but it DEFINITELY isn't worth retail price. again, if you get this as part of a kit and you are pleased with the fusion glosses and lip treatments, it isn't the worst mascara ever. however, i feel most fusion products are obscenely overpriced for what they do.

I can not believe the reviews for this mascara, honestly. I'm a mascara fiend, and I'm always trying to find the best one and this one definitely takes the cake. You can actually feel the brush gripping your lashes and extending them as your applying it, it's amazing. Usually I use a curler, but I do not need it when I use this mascara. It gives me everything I want and need in a mascara and more, I have curl, volume and definition. The only down side was the price, but I will find a way to look past it. Definitely buy it if your considering it!

I can't say this is the best mascara I have ever had as it does not provide the volume that I hoped for, but it defines lashes pretty well and it does not clump :-)

I am surprised to see all these negative comments. I had bought this mascara from sephora for 28$ after having eyelash extensions rip half my real eyelashes out. I have never had better results with any other mascara and Ive tried a ton! It made them much longer and thicker! I had no problems with smudging or getting it off. It was soft and comfortable to wear and helped me grow back the rest of my broken eyelashes.

For a volume mascara, the formula is too watery, and not moussey/waxy enough to plump up lashes. Its an ordinary mascara, I would say more suited for someone who desires a lengthening mascara because it makes my lashes stand up straight, doesnt clump, and the brush sweeps through each lash. Its ok, nothing special.

This is one of the worst mascaras ever. I picked it up at Winners (Canadian TJMaxx) with high hopes since I like the Fusion lip glosses.
The first time I tried it, I was surprised how dry it was, and the finish was extremely matte. It didn't go on well.
Around 10am, I was speaking with a senior manager where I work, and afterwards ventured into the washroom where it literally looked like someone rubbed grease paint under my eyes. Mortifying!!
Do not buy - Fusion should have stuck to lip glosses and not made any other products.

This mascara in my opinion is a waste of money. It did nothing for my lashes and simply weighed them down as well as clumped them up. Bulky tube that was a waste of space and provided no benefits for my already flat lashes. Used about 5 times and ever since its been collecting dust in the corner of my vanity. I will be throwing this out soon.
