I sampled this 3-in-1 when I had been decorating a lot of cakes, lol. I had in my mind what buttercream should smell like- since I had been using buttercream all week! To me, this smelled like a little girl's perfume or lip gloss (think bonne bell) - very fake vanilla. I wouldn't use this again.

This stuff is awesome. Previously I'd been a devotee of the Jaqua line of buttercream products, but somehow felt that the shower gel scent was just "off" somehow. A faint plastick-y undercurrent that left me wanting more. A better buttercream, as it were. THIS is it! Philosophy got it so right with this offering. It's sweet and creamy and decadent with no plastic or fakey scent. The price is right (and the amount you get is really fair for the price), the packaging is minimalist chic (love), and the scent and lather is just wonderful all around. I will definitely re-purchase. A+++.

I was disappointed to find that something that smells so good in the bottle does not smell at all in the tub or shower. I will be returning it.

Philosophy has definately improved their 3-in-1's because this one hits the mark!! It smells exactly of Jaqua's buttercream frosting body cream. There are not plastic or artificial notes. I'm really loving this!

Oh yum! Philosophy nailed this one - smells excatly like rich, creamy vanilla buttercream frosting. The scent is to die for, but like all Philosophy 3-in-1's, it doesn't linger on the skin at all, which is OK - I don't want my shower gel competing with my chosen perfume for the day. Pretty moisturizing - my skin felt soft even without lotion afterwards. I don't use any of these on my hair, so I can't comment on how well they work in that respect, but it is a wonderful new bodywash from Philosophy and I highly recommend!

i found this on the sephora.com website and i just had to get it. i thought it would smell so yummy and i was right. i just love it. i am a huge fan of butter cream icing, like on cupcakes and wedding cakes, etc and this, to me smells just like that !! it is really delicious. i have used it mostly as a shower gel, except for one time as a shampoo and i have to say, i do not like philosophy 3 in 1's as shampoo. all of them that i have always make my hair flat. but as a shower gel, this is one of my favorites. i suppose as a bubble bath, it will be great too. just haven't tried it that way yet. i have never seen this in the sephora store, maybe it is just available on line. if you like yummy sweet icing, then you will enjoy this.
